Full Disclosure, It was Father's Day. Unfortunately, Benihana did not have enough chefs on duty. We arrived at 6:15pm, were seated by 7:15, and did not receive our chef until 8:15pm. At one point our server (clearly disheveled) requested help to serve our table. We love hibachi style restaurants, but we will not be attending this location again.

We didn't get seated until 45 minutes past our reservation time, okay no biggie.. Then as time went by... two hrs later after being seated... we still had not been served our soup, yet 2 other full tables had come in 15-20 minutes later had managed to be done by that time (meaning they recd bill and was leaving already). When inquiring about what was going on the manager shared the server "was having a thing" and kept on walking by.. It was horrendous to finally get to leave 3 and half hours later.... On top of that our server was snsrky and forgot our table or wasn't paying any mind to it. Chef was good tho, so was food, just customer service and management were awful.

The food was delicious and our chef, June, was fun and entertaining. The restaurant accomodated dietary requirements (gluten free) beautifully, making the few gluten items our party ordered on a separate cooktop so that the Celiacs in our party could feel safe and comfortable eating everything that came off OUR cooktop. There was also no extra charge for gluten-free cooking, which we really appreciated. The only reason for the 4 stars was that the service was a little lacking. We were not seated until 20 minutes after our reservation, our server consistently forgot items the first time, and we gave up on getting the booster seat we needed for my neice after asking three times. Despite these annoyances, however, the staff was all smiles and rushed to correct (most) errors. That and the fun of teppanyaki cooking just made it all an overall great experience.

June was personable, entertaining and fun! The food was perfectly prepared with love. My husband and I celebrate our birthdays with June every year, he never disappoints !!!

We have been coming here since the early 90s and have turned our friends on to it also. It is an event when we go, everyone has to go or noone goes until we all can. We all pretty much order the same thing, and doubles of shrimp, fried rice, zucchini, etc..... The food is awesome, the seasonings are perfect and they help make it perfect. Jenny as our waitress and Paul as our Chef are the only way to go!

It was a birthday celebration and it was ok. I had a large party and was given misinformation, they need to update their staff on policies regarding seating, it seemed dark on the inside and the decor looks like it hasn’t been touch in years!! But chef Dan (I think was his name) was entertaining and cool. It was nice to see other families celebrating events!
