    Chef Maury was awesome! The waitress helping was so sweet and so very on top of everything we needed without us asking. Thank you so much for a wonderful birthday dinner.

    DONT WASTE YOUR TMONEY OR TIME! BETTER EXPERIENCES AND FOOD AT WAFFLE HOUSE! 1: HORRIBLE SERVICE! Held/served drink/flatware by the rim. Never checked for drink refills, left empties plates/etc on table. The grill chef(who was the only good part of this visit)eventually had to find him! I did not tip him, which is saying al lot as a former server. 2:DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN FRIED RICE! It isn’t good. The extra $7 is not indicated on the menu; if it was it was not clearly noticeable! Total scam! 3: THE WHOLE PLACE WAS NASTY. If I had seen the bathroom before I paid, we would have left before sitting down! Smelly, peeling wallpaper, dirty carpet. So noisy we had to shout to talk. 4: THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE FELT RUSHED. I barely got through half of my plate before I was asked if I wanted a box.

    The food and service are very good, but very expensive. Benihana is a great place for a special event or date!

    All Father’s Day reservations were running at least 2 hours behind, we didn’t eat until 930 with a 7pm reservation. 2 adults and 2 kids with 1 drink each was nearly $300 with tip, I ordered regular steak and chicken and my husband got regular steak with a lobster tail. Fried rice is now a $7.50 up charge and a TINY lobster tail add-on was an extra $20. On top of this our chef had been working 10 hours and was too tired to be very entertaining. He was super nice and I definitely don’t hold it against him. More than half of the tables were just sitting waiting 30 plus minutes for a chef. Obviously severely understaffed.

    Horrible!!! We made a reservation for 7:15 , we arrived and they let us know they were running 3 hours behind! They said “it wasn’t their problem” sorry I believe it is! They were just awful!

    We had a reservation for 6:30 PM and finally got a table at 8:30 PM, 2 hour wait. this made no sense since they called twice to verify my reservation and texted twice to remind me of my reservation, but could not text or call that there was going to be a delay in seating reservations. When we finally got a table, the room was HOT and SMOKE and the food was overcooked, veggies were burnt and rice was overly fried making the fried rice crispy. Overall the worst experience we had with this restaurant for the price, it is usually a go to for celebrations.

    Thank goodness for our wonderful chef Diego. The only reasons stars are lower was because of the wait. We had a 5:15 reservation and didn’t get seated until 6:30. Ridiculous and the manager gave a bunch of excuses. Food and chef were amazing. Had it not been Father’s Day we would have left. Food and service once we sat were great.

    My family was seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. The waiter took our order, was slow bringing out drinks and not attentive. My boyfriend found the manager and expressed concern that an hour had gone by and still no one came out to cook. We were told by the waiter our order never made it to the kitchen. The manager didn’t even come to our table and apologize or say anything. Our meals were not discounted and no apology from management. A $273 disappointment! Never again Benihana! Unacceptable!
