Reservation was seated an hour after the time we were supposed to be. It was continuously being communicated that were the next table when were in fact not. Wouldn’t have made a reservation had we known the time wouldn’t be honored.

We had a 645 reservation and were not seated until 740. Our chef was very entertaining. Don’t think we will be back.

Despite a reservation, we were seated almost 1 hour past our time. Then, we sat for another hour before the hibachi chef finally started cooking at our table. The restaurant was obviously way understaffed for the known amount of customers planned. No apology or addressing this obvious service failure by a manager nor anything offered for our lousy experience. Our chef admitted he only had 2 months experience which was obvious with clumsy handling of cooking utensils, trouble remembering the table’s orders, and flinging food all over (not the intended ways). Lots of hibachi available in town. This will likely be the last time coming here. As somebody who has been to the original Benihana, this is a sad representation of the franchise.

The last two times that I’ve been here to Benihana the cooks are not up to this car that they used to be. It’s like they are training needs to be increased because they’re over cooking the fried rice to where it’s crispy pieces of rice for example and the zucchini is burnt on the bottom and the steak is burnt because they haven’t gotten a good gauge of cooking times and temperatures and all the things that the Mark experience cooks have so I would suggest that they offer more training sessions and have like the management to eat a meal that they create. Otherwise we were sat pretty quickly. The server seem to be absent this time, but the last server we had last trip was amazing and she cleared our bowls as soon as we finished them and refilled our drinks and everything so it’s kind of hit or miss and it’s very expensive for what you got. I don’t know why the prices have gone up so much when you know the food prices may have gone up a little bit. The economy has gone up a little bit, but it’s a little crazy how expensive it is now

While the waitstaff and chef were very pleasant, the overall service was awful. The entire restaurant was very overbooked and even with a 6:30 reservation, we did not get served any food until 8 pm. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have experienced this extremely slow service here and we will not be returning any longer. But sure you have 2.5 to 3 hrs because the last couple of times I have been here the entire meal has taken that long with a lot of waiting.

The fried rice was not worth the upcharge. It needed butter, More soy sauce and flavor. The shrimp were overcooked and the wagu was cold. Unsure if I would go back as it was double what our other tempanyaki restaurant charges for not as good flavor. Our reservation was at 6:30 but we didn’t get sat until 7:30

Horrible, had to wait 1.5 hour after our reservation to be seated, had to wait an additional hour for our appetizer to come out and for our chef to even show up just for the food to be mid for $400. Horrible experience, asked for straws and waited 20 minutes as waiter kept forgetting and I ended up going to the bar to get one myself.

Great dinner. Our chef, Izzy, was fantastic. The seasonings he used were perfect. He was very skillful and gave us a terrific show. Service was very good.
