   They seated us 90 minutes+ after our reservation time which we then found out was due to them understaffing the chefs. So not only did we have to wait a long time, the meal itself then took forever while we had to wait. If it wasn't for my 7 year olds birthday we would have left long before. Needless to say this is the last time we ever go to any Benihana

   We had a reservation for 4:45. We were told it was 30-45 mins wait…. Which is ridiculous. But it was 1 hour and 15 mins wait. And they weren’t changing the time they were telling people

   We went to Benihana’s on Mother’s Day and expected a crowd, but did not expect to wait an hour after our reservation to be seated and then another hour before a chef showed up at our table. The chef was unprepared, didn’t have the food necessary to complete the order, and was very slow in cooking the various items. It was by far the worst dining experience we’ve ever had at this type of restaurant.

   Despite not getting a Teppanyaki table, still had an enjoyable time! Server Ashley was very attentive even with all that was going on. Overall another excellent experience at Benihana!

   Went on Mothers day and it was very crowded. We had reservations for 1:30 but didn't get seated until after 2. It was very warm in the restaurant even warmer where we were seated in a cut out area with no air circulation. We will go back again but ask to be seated on the main floor, if possible.

   Staff was great, but definitely understaffed. It took so long that I ended up eating up eating ingredients as they were cooked

   Our reservation was perfect. We arrived and were seated promptly. The service was very attentive. The food was as always great! We appreciated the little extras for the mothers they provided. We have used open table for Benihana for the second year in a row and it’s perfect for Mother’s Day!

   The food was good although the chef did not go through many of the motions they usually do. There was a child at the table and I think he would have appreciated that. Chef refilled the sauces more than once which was appreciated. Server was great. However, there was a screaming/roaring sound coming from the vent hood at the table next to us that was very distracting for about 30 minutes. Once our chef cleaned the grill and left, the same noise came from the vent hood directly above our heads. This really affected the overall experience, it was so loud.

   The ONLY reason I am not giving this a higher rating is because I had made reservation 4 days prior and when we arrived ten minutes before the reservation, they told me that it would be an HOUR wait...for someone with a reservation. I was not the only one affected by this. As I stood with my two children for over an hour, several people had the same reaction I did to having absolutely no notice of the restaurant overbooking so much. Every single party that had made reservations had to wait over an hour to be seated. Otherwise, the food was great and the ambience was wonderful. Diego is fantastic and funny and engaging and made all of our food perfectly. My advice. If you plan on going here during the weekend, don't even bother making a reservation. Just plan on checking in and having to wait for an hour.
