We had to wait 50 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Then, the chef seemed annoyed by us, the waiter kept forgetting our requests. We spent over $600 and they didnt even offer us a picture when we told them its a graduation dinner. This was not worth it to me. I didn’t even eat any of my food at all because all I wanted to do was hurry up and get out of there. It felt very uninviting. We had to wait 30 minutes for ice cream to arrive. It was just a mess. 2 stars is generous.

The service attitude is very poor. The chef said he was too tired when he started working at noon. He only performed for 10 seconds. It was so disappointing. Every year, my child’s birthday is here. I am really disappointed with the service.

We made reservations for a Friday night for 11 people a month ahead. I got there 15min prior to our reservation time and waited for my friends - who all showed up by 7pm (reservation time) even though their parking lot was full and directed people to park at other nearby lots (not knowing whether it was a legitimate parking spot). Waited an hour before we could be seated. Yes they were apologetic but did not initiate anything to appease the hour long wait. My friend talked to them multiple times before they even agreed to comp the birthday girl's drink. This is a dining establishment that has been around for a long time. An hour wait for a large party that had reservations is ridiculous. For the most part, we waited patiently but hoped there would be some kind of compensation. And multiple conversations to just comp us one drink? The staff were nice and the show was great but an hour wait with really nothing to compensate for our time??

Food is always good. Service is always pretty good. Performance is always great. And cost is always high. But we keep coming back!

- have dined at benihana multiple times (gatherings) - don't consider it particularly good - the waiter confirmed by dairy allergy and I asked them to note no pepper. Nothing spicy. - I asked for the chicken yakisoba - cook came and cooked chicken with pepper. How. Sad. - at that point I don't like to 'waste' food and coupled with anxiety I didn't correct them. Bc again, I made it clear from the beginning. - begrudgingly ate my meal very unsatisfied -yakisoba noodles appear to be the same ones u can find at a safeway. - never much recommended this place. - everyone else liked their meals - lobster -steak -chicken Also. Their fans and vents could be better.

Restaraunt is on the water. Open table allows selecting ‘patio outdoor seating.’. They don’t have outdoor seating (please fix). Food was okay but not great. Service was okay but not great. Chef was okay but a bit of a downer. Probably won’t go back to this location.

Normally, the Hibachi Steak dinner is a hit, very tender and flavorful. My family frequents Benihana and at least 2-3 would order it and love it. Last night 7 of 10 family members ordered it and they all agreed the steak lacked the same enjoyment from many of our last dinners. Maybe it was just the choice of meat provided last night.
