Our chef was very energetic and had great humor! He was entertaining and made our time their a fun one! The food was excellent! Everything freshly cooked and tasty tasty tasty! A 5 course meal too! We thought about this restaurant all throughout the next day, and decided to take our granddaughter there towards the end of this week! Thanks!
Sitting where we could feel the draft. My soup was served after everyone else was served and cleaned up. I had to send back my first cocktail. I had to ask for chopsticks. The cook (not a chef) was friendly. The staff is following their Disney training but haute cuisine is not an option. They work hard and being friendly is their biggest asset.
This is not fine dining, it is somewhat expensive but catered for a labor crowd. It was good enough for a 10 year old birthday party but I won’t celebrate my own there. Benihana is more like Benny Hill, laughable!..
We took our 5 and 2 year old and they liked the food and the entertainment from the chef.
The food was yummy, We were celebrating my son’s birthday. I thought the wait was extremely long, given it was a lunch event.
We come here every year on our birthdays
The food is awesome as well as the fun atmosphere
Our chef was funny and friendly. She also made really tasty food!
It was not a stellar experience, but Kyle was bery nice and very entertaining for my children. The service needed improvement and management was not visible when we were waiting 15 minutes after being seated for drinks. Terrible beginning. Kyle saved the experience from being awful. The food was delicious again thanks to Kyle. We were never greeted by a manager, but once saw him lerking in the background. Would have been nice to see him interacting. We will return as we enjoyed the experience thanks to Kyle, but will ensure he is working when we do.
It was awesome.. however, we noticed the table next to us received a much better show.
Excellent chef and waitress. Great meal. Fried rice was outstanding. We had our g-kids with us and the 4 year old got a big kick out of the “flaming volcano”. Thanks for a great evening.
We went to Benihana to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. He is a member of the Kabuki kids club, so he got a free ninja-shaped mug to drink out of, which he loved. Our chef was Derrick, who did a great job entertaining us while cooking our meal. The table next to us was seated after us and finished up about 20 minutes before us, but to be fair, Derrick had a lot of seafood to prepare for our group, which takes longer. Definitely worth the wait--the food was great!
Service was amazing!!!! Entertainment was okay. Benihana experiences I have had in the past were more fun, more interaction with the cook, and have had a wow factor which this experience lacked. Also, we were surrounded by kids and infants and much as I like little ones I was liking for adult fun. Maybe we just went too early. The food was okay, meat and rice.... I expected more vegetables. Anyway, did I mention the service was fantastic!
Food was ok. Steak was way over done but chicken and shrimp were delicious. Our chef was very friendly and did a great job keeping us entertained. I was surprised at how dirty the grill was even though they clean it before they cook you could see old food around the edges and we had to send our plates back because they weren’t cleaned properly. I don’t know if I would want to eat there again because of the poor cleaning job
Overall our experience was great! We have been to this location over a dozen times now but our recent visit was by far at as great as the rest. The food was not great quality as I know it to be. Our Chef was inexperienced for whatever reason. He under cooked our steak, over cooked our shrimp, and he forgot my son's order of chicken therefore; he had to wait to eat after the rest of the family. The eggs in the chicken fried rice was also over cooked and quite brown.
Went to Benihana in Broomfield for my husband's birthday. It is definitely the neighborhood birthday spot! Our chef, Kyle, was amazing and kept everyone engaged and entertained with his knife skills and jokes. The service was good for such a busy night and location, and the food was excellent.
Food and table chef were both great. Shame that the lunch specials are no longer available during the weekend and it's weird that the chicken fried rice is extra after you pay $20-35 for your entree. Definitely a place to go maybe once or twice a year for a celebration.
Manager and team very accommodating. We had late reservation and there was still a joyful presence at that late hour.
We had issues with printing out my husbands birthday certificate. The manager was amazing. He made sure he focused on customer needs. That’s what makes the difference between a company that Truely has a customer care culture.
Great place to eat and entertainment was great!!!!!!!!!!
As always the food was excellent and the visual and interactive experience with the chef was wonderful.
Food is great service sucks wasn’t to busy our waitress was just lazy she only had 2 tables our Chef had to get us our silverware and refills food came out good as I said before just lack of show and interactive that’s why I say this location is more business meal vs the other location always more fun and chefs and more interactive thought I’d try here for a friend and their child but again we went for food and that didn’t let down environment needs to have some life to it
I was quite disappointed. The chef was not up to par, my lobster was dry and my steak had grizzle. Not as good as it used to be. No, I will not come back.
Although we had reservations we waited 45 minutes for a chef. The Chairs all need to be repaired as there is no padding left in any of them. The waitress served our soup with her thumb in it an the Chef seemed very new and and unprofessional. I've been going to Benihana for years and was terribly disappointed in how far down hill it has gone.
I prefer not to embarrass this restaurant. If you remember how Benihana was years ago and expect the same experience - right turn- there are other restaurants that offer the same atmosphere same price same distance. Lower your prices and I would Have expected the service that I received
Our experience is always great here! This time our server Drew and cook Stephanie made it especially great!! Drew was right on top of our every need and Stephanie had us laughing and having a great time the entire meal. We will definitely be back again and request them!!
The chef was nice. I wish I could remember his name Derek I think. I hope,he was great and yummi food and good experience .
We visited Benihana on Saturday February 24th at 11:30. My kids ordered the california rolls and the sushi at King Soopers is better. It was absolutely awful. We had to order them another meal and the waitress still charged us for the rolls. The steak was all fat and gristle and we ended eating only about 1/4 of it. We ended up spending $90 for 2 kids and one adult for lunch. It was a terrible experience and we won't be going back. I am hoping this message goes to the manager and I will receive some feedback. The only thing that remotely saved this experience was that the waitress dd a good job.
First time and we loved it. Hope to come back soon. Tommy was our cook and did an excellent job.
A big thank you to our chef Stephanie! She was amazing, and her food tricks and preparation were incredible. My husband and I really enjoyed the fantastic food and everything about the entire experience! Go bubbles :-)
They did a fabulous job holding the reservation for us when half of our party was late. The busboy was very good. The main chef was just going through the motions and was distracted. He served the paltry appetizer - 1/2 of a shrimp - with the main meal. No one offered to take our picture. The prices just keep going up and the quality goes down.
My wife wanted to go here for her whole life. It was a dream of hers. So we went and it was amazing
I love the food and the cheif's, they all make it such a great experience
Our cook dropped a stick and spilt sauce into a ladies champagne.
Chef did not spend much time with us and did not do many tricks they were pushing everybody out too quickly it was Valentine's but we still paid for the show and didn't get it.
I didn’t think that anything special was about this place. I have been to many Hibachi restaurants and this one did not stand out at all for me or my wife. The prices were high and the fact you have to pay extra for the chicken fried rice is just crazy. I will look for a non chain local place to go next time.
It was my fiancé and I's very first time trying Benihana for a date night, and we will definitely go again. Our chef was funny and great, and the food was a reasonable value and delicious for the experience.
Benihana's Broomfield has been a favorite of ours for several years but the last several meals there have been mediocre at best. They used to have some really great chefs but have noticed that all most all of those chefs are no longer there. The new chefs are not good at all and have burned our food and fried rice. This is extremely disappointing since like I said earlier that this is one of my family's favorite places to eat. I hope they can hire some more experienced chefs soon.
The food was tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming with a sprinkle of fun. We were seated on time and the table assignment was thoughtful. I came as it was my friend's birthday. Only once we got there were we told that the 30% discount was not applicable to Fri/Sat/Sun meals. Also, although I saw the email reminding us of birthday discount, I did not open it to see that I needed to print the actual barcode to be awarded the discount. All in all a good experience. Just a little too pricey for me, especially when discount was not applied. At least they did not rush off our table as we were the only ones to have a dessert.
Every time we go there I swear the portion sizes get smaller. The “show” gets less and less interesting as they are so stretched for cooks they just try and do it as fast as possible. Very poor experience this time for a family who goes there 2-3 times a year for the past 5 years. Oh, and they canceled our reservation last week “due to technical issues” and told us we were S.O.L. Instead of trying to work out a logical solution for something that way their error. Bad customer experience
I took my family there for my birthday dinner, since i had a $30.00 off coupon for my birthday. From the time we walked into the door our experience was horrible! We made reservations for 6:15 and still ended up waiting for 30min. They were seating people in front of us that didn't make a reservation. After being seated, we sat at our table for another 30 minutes waiting to be served. Nothing came out in time, and an hour later, our cook came out. They tried to charge us for things they "forgot" to bring us and didn't acknowledge my birthday coupon since it was 24hrs in advance?! When we asked to speak to the manager, he reused to use my birthday coupon and never returned to resolve any of our other issues. This is the second time in the past two months that this has happened to us, and will never return to this place.
Food was good, service was good, Dad jokes from the chef were plentiful. Overall great experience. We had a great bday dinner.
