My wife wanted to go here for her whole life. It was a dream of hers. So we went and it was amazing

Chef did not spend much time with us and did not do many tricks they were pushing everybody out too quickly it was Valentine's but we still paid for the show and didn't get it.
I didn’t think that anything special was about this place. I have been to many Hibachi restaurants and this one did not stand out at all for me or my wife. The prices were high and the fact you have to pay extra for the chicken fried rice is just crazy. I will look for a non chain local place to go next time.
It was my fiancé and I's very first time trying Benihana for a date night, and we will definitely go again. Our chef was funny and great, and the food was a reasonable value and delicious for the experience.
Benihana's Broomfield has been a favorite of ours for several years but the last several meals there have been mediocre at best. They used to have some really great chefs but have noticed that all most all of those chefs are no longer there. The new chefs are not good at all and have burned our food and fried rice. This is extremely disappointing since like I said earlier that this is one of my family's favorite places to eat. I hope they can hire some more experienced chefs soon.
The food was tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming with a sprinkle of fun. We were seated on time and the table assignment was thoughtful. I came as it was my friend's birthday. Only once we got there were we told that the 30% discount was not applicable to Fri/Sat/Sun meals. Also, although I saw the email reminding us of birthday discount, I did not open it to see that I needed to print the actual barcode to be awarded the discount. All in all a good experience. Just a little too pricey for me, especially when discount was not applied. At least they did not rush off our table as we were the only ones to have a dessert.
Every time we go there I swear the portion sizes get smaller. The “show” gets less and less interesting as they are so stretched for cooks they just try and do it as fast as possible. Very poor experience this time for a family who goes there 2-3 times a year for the past 5 years. Oh, and they canceled our reservation last week “due to technical issues” and told us we were S.O.L. Instead of trying to work out a logical solution for something that way their error. Bad customer experience
