Welcome to Benihana and a dining experience unlike any other! Our guests are seated at communal tables in groups, where your personal chef will perform the ancient art of Teppanyaki. Watch as we slice and dice, preparing a meal that will dazzle your eyes as well taste buds, whether you choose mouth-watering steak, tender chicken or succulent seafood. You can also enjoy sushi prepared by a talented sushi chef and indulge in a specialty cocktail. The moment you enter Benihana Broomfield you will be captivated by the large saltwater aquariums that adorn the walls. Venture into the dining room to find it bright and airy, with two enclosed, two-table dining rooms that afford private space with sliding shoji doors. Great for teen birthdays! My kids loved it. Only bad spot was that we had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table.

We were seated over 40 minutes after our reservation time. We were on time; too bad the restaurant wasn't. The staff didn't seem to care and when we were finally called, we all stood in line in the path of exiting customers for an extended time, very unconfortable.

The food and ambience are good or otherwise I would not consider going back.

It’s a fun restaurant but the food is seriously over salted and the chiefs do knife tricks but no one flips Amy food into anyone’s mouth and overall you get the feeling they are just trying to get to the next table.

It has been difficult trying to get in this place during the busy holiday season, so when we were finally able to dine here we were excited ! To start we made reservations at 8 and arrived on time to have to wait for a table. Honestly if the rest of the night wasn’t a disaster it wouldn’t have been a problem , but that was not the case. When we were finally sat we ordered drinks ( I ordered a raspberry berry lemonade and my boyfriend ordered sake for us to share) the server seemed to be uninterested/ too busy to take our order so much she didn’t even bother to ID us . When she brought out our drink she poured our sake and walked away. Right away my boyfriend noticed the glass was filthy! That was a total turn off but given the fact that it was a super busy night we thought we would just bring it to her attention so it could get resolved. To my complete dissatisfaction instead of replacing the drink , she brought out a clean glass for us to pour an already contaminated drink into . I was mortified at her unprofessionalism and attitude toward us. I felt that if we had poured our own drink into a dirty glass then maybe that would have been our problem , but she was the one who poured it so I felt that it was an error on her part. To me she was either blind and in need of glasses or she knew she was giving us a dirty glass and didn’t care. Either was it was an unacceptable way of resolving the problem. It seemed like she was angry at us for noticing her mistake. Despite this woman’s poor service we were already there so we decided to try to make the best of the situation, but honestly I couldn’t wait to get out of there!!! For the rest of our time there not only did we get poor service , it was accompanied by glares/ dirty looks. As you could imagine we were so disgusted with the horrible service that we couldn’t even finish our meal. To Follow up w bad service as we walked past the host we just got a blank stare no goodbye or have a nice night.

Our last experience, and I mean last, was not positive. Food was poor, steak was tough. Took a long time to get drinks. They seated too many people at the table; we were 5 people and they had another 4 people at the table. Those tables aren't meant to seat nine people. Very disappointing for a $250 meal. Not going back.

Lighting is ridiculously bright. Salad was so cold it was almost frozen. Otherwise, everything else was great!

This was an entertaining and enjoyable meal (as always). Alex, our chef, was entertaining and very talented. We enjoyed both the show and the food, which was cooked perfectly. It is refreshing to find a Habachi Chef that "gets" that it's supposed to be an entertaining experience (i.e. a show) as much as anything. We will definitely be going back!

Always a fun place to go. Excellent service, even on a busy New Years Eve night. Good quality of food, well cooked. BUT way too much sodium. Definitely a once a year place.

We have been to Benihana stores in many states, because we enjoy the menu. The food was excellently prepared, the steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. Similarly the lobster was prepared expertly as well. I regret that I don't recall the name of our chef.

We had a reservation on Christmas Day night at 6:15 for
our son’s birthday dinner. After our family movie,
we arrived to find the restaurant closed! Ruined the night plan. We had to drive to Boulder and had
to wait over an hour for a table. Really disappointed. If they were not open, why did we get a reservation and an email confirmation?

We had made reservations way in advance as we were eating there on Christmas Day. Something happened with the pipes and they couldn’t open. Unfortunately since it was Christmas Day we were left without reservations anywhere which kind of ruined our evening!

I received a email asking to make reservations for Christmas dinner and when we showed up we found that the restaurant was closed as we sat in the parking lot we ran into 3 other groups that made reservations for dinner also.

My husband and I showed up for our reservation; but the restaurant was closed. I understand that there was a water leak of some kind, and they needed to close for repairs. I can respect that.

What I’m not happy about is that it took 30 minutes for us to drive there in the snow to find the restaurant closed. It would have nice to have a phone call or email to let us know about the closure.

I made reservations on Open Table for a nice Christmas Dinner that never happened. We arrived for our 6pm reservation to find out that they had closed. You know it would have been really nice to receive a text/call/email informing me that you were closed. If you weren't open at all the reservation shouldn't have been an option. Therefore our special Christmas Dinner was ruined. With everything being closed we're very upset and disappointed in this place of business.

We made reservations for Christmas. We were very excited to go with a couple friend as they have never been here. On Christmas around 1230-100 I was sent a voicemail about the restaurant having to close due to a heating issue. I tried calling back immediately and there was no answer. I just want to thank you all for ruining our plans. Since we had reservations we did not get any groceries for a Christmas dinner be fore hand relying on the reservation was my fault.
I refuse to give this place a good review.

Not their fault but a true disappointment. Made special Christmas Day reservations. They had some sort of heat problem which meant they couldn’t cook and was freezing so room was cold. Other than that disappointment the issue was we were only notified as we arrived. Does Open Table not have a way to contact people they have confirmed reservations with? Won’t be using this service again. Not holding it against the restaurant.

When we arrived there at the restaurant we found a notcevon the door that said "Closed, sorry for the inconvenience ". It was real inconvenience. Here it was Christmas at lunch time with 6 hungry people, 2 of them being children with nowhere do go. It would of been real nice if we would of been informed by someone.

I received a call from Benihana as I was walking out the door to meet friends for Christmas lunch that their heat was not working and our reservation was cancelled. I realize problems occur, but this definitely put us in a bind on a holiday and very limited resources to find another restaurant. Less than an hour notice was not sufficient.

I absolutely love this place but Christmas Eve was a mess. The heat had gone out and the waiting room was beyond cold. When they seated us, late by 45 minutes, they put us right by the freezing cold waiting room. My 84 years old Mom could not handle the cold so they moved us one table into the restaurant and it helped about 20%. Our chef was awesome, the food was just wonderful but got cold very, very fast and we usually eat slow, so most of us took a lot home because we like hot food. The management tried but it was disappointing. Then we had a $185 gift card we bought in March to use for Christmas Eve. For some reason it wouldn’t go through at the store so we had to use a credit card for the whole purchase. Come home, called Benihana’s and it had $185 on it. Will still come back next year because we love the normal experience and we know this was not normal. So Cold, everyone working there had to be in coats. Hard on everyone.

The service was absolutely horrible. I've been to at least 20 different Benihanas and never had such a bad experience. Management here needs to address this. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience at this particular Benihana.

The cook, Kyle did a fantastic job! Food tasted great! Service from waitress left a lot to be desired! Ordered appetizer, came after all food was delivered. Birthday for grand daughters, gave free mug, this was a nice touch! Never got kids ice cream to go with their meal! Took forever to receive the check. I would go back for the food!

Terrible service, avoid if you can. Didn’t get seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. They shoved the four of us into the corner of a hibachi table, you could tell they added an extra chair. Our knees were touching in the corner. Most of our meal was spent without water. Every step of the ordering process took forever, even getting out cards back when we paid. Couldn’t wait to leave
