Unfortunately, the food was not up to usual standards. Soup was barely warm, same with the steamed rice. While our Filet Mignon was cooked correctly, the quality of the meat was sub par. We should have requested replacements but decided against it. For the price, the quality needs to be maintained.

Our party had to wait for almost an hour to be seated. Our reservation was at 7 o’clock we were seated at 8 o’clock. Our table where we sat was directly underneath the air conditioning was freezing in there. It was like sitting in a freezer and because of that arc food was immediately cold, so the dinner was a total waste for 180 some dollars and it was my son‘s 21st birthday. That was the worst experience we have ever had with Benihana. We probably will never go there on special occasions again sincerely sad guest.

Our waitress was a little dingy. She got the people next to us order wrong. Didn’t order the little boys chicken fingers that he wanted for dinner. Then when they realized the chicken fingers weren’t coming, the cook, put on a filet mignon for the kid which he refused to eat. All he wanted was his chicken fingers so the waitress put in the order for the chicken fingers came back to the table and told the little boy that they were coming out as she was talking to him but unfortunately 20 minutes later she comes back to the table and says it’s going to be two more minutes 10 minutes later we got our check and was leaving and still the poor kid did not have his dinner.

our chef must have been new. The order that we recieved our cooked food was backwards. By the time we finished our meal, he gave us onions. We also didnt get the additional rice we paid for. He said he didnt portion it out correctly. He didnt attampt to do any egg tricks, nothing with onions. It was pretty dull and food was not what we were used to experiencing when we eat here.

Our server and cook were absolutely great! However, the cleanliness of your restaurant is absolutely appalling! Every corner that you turn is absolute filth. The bathrooms are disgusting and I wish I had visited them before we sat down because then I would have decided to leave and not spend the $300 that we did. We have been going to Benihana‘s for years and years and it just seems like it is declining more and more.

This place has gone way down. Frankly it's disgusting. They have 20 tables and charging $30 per plate, equating to $4,000 plus an hour in revenue when busy. That's $30k plus a day on a busy day. Had a reservation at 6:45pm, sat down at 7:05pm. They have a 10 minute grace period but not for seating customers. The chef finally showed up at 7:35pm and was the least happy person in the place. Clearly burned out and hated his job. Food was sub-par and didn't taste good. Soup was not Miso, salad dressing seemed old and cooked food was smaller then normal portions. The front waiting room is like a dungeon with the most disgruntled person operating the host station. I just want to know where is revenue goes, clearly not on staff, facilities or food. Another restaurant that needs to be closed due to poor management and owners. Capitalism will put this gross place out of business and all should avoid this. The experiences you had years ago will not be recreated here. Save your money and time. Don't waste 3 hours on a horrible experience and pay premium in prices on food.

6:30 reservations - didn’t get any food til 7:15 which was hard with kids. Chef seemed annoyed and turned off by my talkative son who thought he was hilarious and was trying to play along. Food was cold by the time the food was all done. Server was nice, food was good but overall not that great an experience

My reservation was at 815 got seated 15 minutes later which was not to bad but then waited at table for 2 1/2 hrs before cook came over had other plans but because I didn’t leave until 1130 I had to cancel it was my first time but would not do it again

Waited an hour before receiving an appetizer, 40 minutes before receiving drinks. The chef was very good at cooking, but was too much in regards to constantly needing interaction. Would’ve been nice to just hear jokes and less questions while we’re trying to eat.

Well our reservation was at 6:00pm we were seated pretty quickly upon reservation time, we waited over 1 1/2 hours for a chef, he was great! Phenomenal actually and had to keep getting extras himself from the kitchen because no one ever asked him if he needed anything beyond what was on his prep cart. We were there for my daughter’s birthday, never given the “Birthday” experience or drinks not refilled, we got our own boxes to box up our food. We were at Benihana for 3 hours 27minutes. Absolutely a disappointment and we frequent Benihana often, the bathrooms were disgusting. Toilets not flushing and literal “poo” all over 1 stall in the ladies room like what in the actual…. Was this experience? I am baffled and disgusted. I also waited an additional 15 minutes just to get my cc back to sign the receipt. I tipped of course because our CHEF WAS awesome the rest was a grossly disappointment for my family and daughter’s birthday dinner.

The worst food I have ever had there. Veggies were either raw or mush. Never got all of our courses. Set in the back part which was dirty and smelled liked cleaner but far from clean.

Chef made several mistakes while preparing our food. Missed ingredients I still paid for. My partner said no onions. They got onions anyway. 3 pieces of my steak didn't make it to my plate, but on the table. $174 for my meal. Left disappointed.

Our party had a reservation at 6:30. We weren't done with our meal (and we skipped dessert) until 3 hours later because they were so backed up. Everyone working there was clearly doing the best they could - they were dramatically short-staffed. Management needs to contact people with reservations and reschedule - because waiting long periods of time to sit down, get drinks, get a chef, etc. is ridiculous. Most of the people in the restaurant looked like they had been waiting long times as well. There are ways to handle being short staffed that don't punish your workers and your customers.

We got seated at 6:50 for our 6pm reservation. I had to check on our reservation 3 times and each time the host offered no apology or anything. After finally getting seated we had to wait an additional hour before our chef finally showed up at 7:55. They should give you a heads up or offer comp appetizers or something if they are going to make you wait 2 hours to eat. Not a pleasant experience at all.

This is the second time that I made a reservation and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Why even make a reservation? I made a 5:45pm reservation, was seated at a table at 6:30 and had a chef come to the table at 7:45! Raymond was a great chef and very entertaining, so It was almost worth the wait. My impression is that Beni Hana needs to hire more chefs, and needs better management of reservations. While our food was good and the chef was fantastic, a 3 hour dinner on a Sunday night is not worth going back for a very long time. 2 strikes in the last year is enough.

Benihana has been our family dining spot as a birthday tradition for years now. After the evening we had, we will be starting a new tradition somewhere else. From the start, we were told they were running "a little behind schedule" due to a chef not coming in. Our reservation was for 5:30. We were seated at about 5:50, but did not get any table service after that for over an hour. In all, we were there for 3 hours. One of the main reasons we come to Benihana is for the fun "tricks" the chefs do while preparing the meals. This is the second time in a row we had a chef who was barely prepared to cook, much less know how to entertain guests. He got our orders reversed, only realizing it after he threw food on the plates. The scallops were overcooked and at the end, we realized it's a lot of money for food we could ruin ourselves. Thanks for a good run of 10 years Benihana.

Disappointing overall! Food, service and entertainment was mediocre, at best. Definitely not as good as many other hibachi restaurants we been to in the last year. Definitely overpriced for what you get!! Took over 45 minutes just to get our appetizer. Won’t go back.

Wonderful food and exciting atmosphere! My family with our two young daughters and in-laws had a wonderful early dinner at Benihana! Our chef, Raymond was charismatic and entertaining as cooked our delicious meal! He had us all laughing and complimenting the chef! We are excited to come back for another wonderful meal!

The chef appeared to be very new or still in training. Took him around an hour to prepare the meal on the grill in front of us. Normally a good chef will prepare everything and serve it within 10 maybe 15 minutes. Here he was preparing almost every aspect of the food separately so by the time it got to your plate, what he had already provided was cold… He forgot the sauces, etc. The cost for the meal was $250 for 4 adults and 2 children and it was the worst I’ve ever had in a Japanese hibachi steakhouse .

Reservation means you get to get seated within 10-15 minutes of your reservation time...we had to wait 45 minutes in addition to our scheduled time...then had to wait additional 45 minutes before our chef showed up...it was 2 hours 15 minutes before our food was served to us. This place is hyped...won't recommend to anyone...unless you have plenty of time and has nothing else to do...you are welcome to go there.

We were at this restaurant for over 2 hours and for Maybe 10 of those minutes the cook cooked the food. No show, no talking- strictly business of cooking our order- we were stuffed like sardines in this back room and the server was horrible. Did not check back to see if we needed anything or if we even liked the food- the appetizer I ordered was not edible because the sauce literally tasted like water.. never brought me the white rice I ordered and we were charged an extra $6 for something we didn't even order. By this time our Uber had arrived and I couldn't wait one more minute for this server. He was moving at the pace of a snail. So we paid the tab - I was furious by the end of that meal and the one date night My husband and I get every 3 months was wasted. Won't be back anytime soon.

The Benihana experience is always a great one. This was our first time at this location. Everything went well. Although we have been Benihana regulars for decades, they were other parties at our table that had never had the experience. We watched the cook at the table next to us put on the typical Benihana display which was wonderful for the customers at that table. He was engaging, fun, and really made everyone at that table happy to be there. Our chef, while competent, was not very engaging and did not do any of those small touches that helped make the Benihana experience famous. Food is always consistent, the only difference this time was the fried rice had significantly more salt and pepper in it than ever before. We noticed when it was being made and you could definitely taste the difference.

Our chief was excellent-we waited 30 min to be seated after our reservation time. Our waitress took our drink order which took another 30 min to receive and we’re not cold when they arrived. After sitting at our table for another 20 minutes with no follow up after our initial order that was placed about 40 min earlier-we were at the point of leaving-our reservation was at 7:15 and we are now looking at 8:40 when our 1st course arrived. Food and chief were very good. Service was non existent… We come here at least once a year and we’re surprised by the lack of organization and service.

Our chef didn’t really want to be there. My chicken was so overcooked. The cut pieces of food were way to large to eat easily. They lost my sisters credit card. Was ok. Won’t go back for a while

Filet mignon was good, and the chicken was good. Shrimp had no lemon, and the shrimp was very fishy. Our chef and waiter were solid, and did nothing wrong, so no complaints.
