My visit to Benihana was disappointing. Several factors add to this review: 1. I found it odd that you had to pay an extra $8.00 for fried rice. 2. I understand this is a kid friendly restaurant, but allowing kids to do cart wheels and play in the aisle is a bit much. 3. I didn't realize this restaurant allowed pets at the tables (and I am not referring to a service pet). For the price point and namesake - I was expecting a much better experience.

Hello we come here almost every week possibly every other week but this time it seemed as though the chief was new as to why we didn’t say anything. We got 2 dinner entrees one filet mignon with shrimp and the other was filet mignon, shrimp and chicken. Our daughter got kids steak and white rice. We didn’t receive the hot tea nor the little appetizer that came with our two entrees the chief was very nice too but seemed to be hesitant when cooking the portion of rice wasn’t much Besides that the environment was good.

Due to accidental cross contamination I had a very bad allergic reaction causing me to go the hospital to get treated. other than that i’ve never had a bad experience

This restaurant seems to be “the “birthday” celebration spot, which is why we have frequented it over the past 10 years. The entree and drink prices have increased in that period. The hibachi is a shared table with seats that surround 3 sides of the cooktop. The chefs are generally very accommodating and Luis was no exception. The food is quickly but is tasty and made to order. The staff always appears to be hustling constantly to serve guests. The mixed drinks are ok but a bit high priced. I the ambiance is nicely appointed but the constant and repeated birthday celebrations which are led by staff and joined by celebrants is often loud but all in the name of good fun. I would classify this as a “special celebration” venue. I would recommend making a reservation for the hibachi seating.

Great value for the "power lunch". Service was fast and food was tasty! The exterior is very plain and signage could be improved. It was hard to tell it was there when I arrived.

I and my children were celebrating my Husband, their father’s birthday which is July 2nd. He passed away in 2024 and Benihana was his favorite restaurant. We will continue to visit to celebrate his memory and enjoy the food in all our favorite restaurant.
