The food was not up to the standard of Benihana. We are from California, and I found a big difference. The fried rice was dry, I asked the chef to add more garlic butter, and he refused. I ordered the fillet, and the mushrooms were dry. The chef said that they do not add any butter to the meat, although they do it in California. All in all, it was a disappointing visit.

My three year old grandson loves Benihana. The chef realized that and played up to him which was very exciting to my grandson. We like going early as the noise and smoke level are reduced.

We had reservations for 3pm on Saturday. The lunch menu had just ended. However, this was a perfect time for parking and minimal crowd inside. The staff were personable. We shared a table with another couple. The chef arrived shortly after we placed our order which was the five course meal. Although dessert was not included, the overall price was reasonable. We have rated here several times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Pretty average across the board. Can’t get mad at the freshness of the food. Our particular chef didn’t do any of the tricks/wasn’t particularly fun, so that was disappointing. Didn’t even execute the volcano :/ Kind of a bust, especially since the kids at our table were trying to watch the chef at another table who was much more fun.

Made an 7:30 appointment but wasnt able to be seated until 8:27pm . Other than that had a great time but the wait was definitely a downer

When making a reservation, I noted that we were celebrating an engagement of our son and graduation of my husband. I called in advance to make sure they would celebrate them. They called to confirm reservation and I asked again. We spent nearly $400 on a meal where our drinks were empty throughout the meal and I had to ask four times while we were there, if they were celebrating our son and my husband. Our chef was NOT entertaining and said she was just ready to get off work when we tried to engage with her. I am so disappointed.

We come for a birthday tradition twice a year, but it is definitely getting very expensive compared to 5-10 years ago, even accounting for inflation!!

As always, Benihana does not disappoint. Great service and food and the show was much enjoyed by the grandchildren! Getting to be more expensive, though, which may be a symptom of the times.
