   Our table was pleasant, not too loud even with two families with children. The chef read our responses well and engaged us on a level that we would resonate with, leading us to have a wonderful time. The pace of the cooking was kept up as well, so we were never waiting for too long to have some food.

   We so enjoyed ourselves celebrating my husband's birthday. Our waiter was gracious and the Chef did a fantastic job entertaining us while he cooked our delicious meal. We had a wonderful time.

    Go for the show! The service, food, were not worth the cost The seating was slow, they were slow to take orders, they never brought rice after we were done eating the rest of the food. Apparently they ran out of rice. How does a Japanese steak house run out of rice? The chef put on a good show. Other than that, not worth it

    Our waitress was great but our chef Nick seemed to have never cooked hibachi in his life. He dropped the spatula and pitchfork about six times over the 2 1/2 hours it took him to cook our dinner. He also spun a knife which everyone was worried about. We got our food at very random times. At one point all we had were half cooked onions on our plate 1.5 hours in 😂. Someone was splashed with hot oil when he flipped the zucchini. We felt bad for the guy. They made it up to us by giving us 50% off which was nice. Would definitely go back if we had an experienced chef.

    It's fine. They put us in a back room with red tile on the wall that looked like it was in a bathroom. Very expensive for what it is. The chef was great but not very fun or interactive.

    Benihana has always been a fantastic experience of entertainment and dining, and our chef, Jose, did not disappoint. He was engaging, fun and funny, and listened to our requests. That said, he was a little distracted by a young boy at the adjoining cook station, and it kept him from giving us his full attention. I will say, it did not detract from the quality and taste of our food! This has been a birthday tradition for many years. On the negative side: Our reservations were for 6:45pm and we were seated by 6:55. But it was fully an hour later (after soup, salad, and much waiting) that Jose came out with our food cart. And so it began - fried rice for those who wanted it, sauces, veggies, and meats. My steak was incredible its the mushrooms and garlic butter, mouth-watering, tender, and juicy! My veggies, however, were cold. Not a problem, normally, as I would mix in my rice, sauces, and hot steak. Finally, Jose noticed I wasn't eating and asked if there was a problem. Um, well, I'm still waiting for my steamed rice..... We had asked once, a few minutes earlier. Jose proceeded to ask on our behalf, twice. Our server explained that she'd be right back - she had to meet and greet her new table. She then took their drink order. 10 minutes later we finally got our steamed rice and I was able to eat dinner. By now, over 2 hours had passed since we were seated. Add another 20 minutes for the birthday ice cream and it was a long time to be at dinner on a weeknight. Thus my 3-star review.

    We have been eating here for many years and always have used the $30 birthday coupon. It used to be the coupon would cover one entree. Now the coupon needs to have a beverage as part of it and the prices have gone way up to the point it only covers a 1/4 of it. Also the food portions have gotten smaller and the shrimp/prawns, lobster as well as the scallops were much smaller in size. The fried rice stayed the same but that price seems to have doubled. We will not be eating there again sorry to say. It was good a few years ago but not now.

    Always an amazing experience. My only complain was I am allergic to seafood and the chef at the table next to ours kept tossing the shrimp tails onto our table, one landed in the sauce and I was served it without knowing, it could have been deadly to me if I hadn't noticed it. Our chef took care of it and got me a new sauce and fork

    Fun experience especially for the kids, but it depends a lot on the chef and his style and flamboyancy in presentation.....unfortunately that was not the case on out=r table. Our chef was very run of the mill, not very showy and didn't even complete two of the "tricks"...one balancing and spinning a raw egg (he dropped it) and making the onion rings volcano (he had a hard time assembling it and it didn't light probably), so that's why the review is just average...other tables were entertaining to look at, just not ours.

    We were seated around 2:15pm. Ate salad and soup about 10 minutes later and our cook showed up 3:40pm. The table next to us left and new customers had a cook about 20 minutes later after seated and same at another table. We normally get our cook within 2o minutes to half hour after seated. We have been going there for many years. Management just said sorry and nothing else. Unhappy
