It was the worst experience ever. The staff is very unprofessional; employees didn't fulfill my needs.
Myself and a friend went to lunch, we waited 1 hr and 15 mins before the chef arrived.
We came for dinner while in town on business. Meal was great and our cook, Ellington was very good. Service from Will was top notch.
The service was bias and the food was not uniform with other Benihana Restaurant. I ordered a dish I normally order from any Benihana and it didn't even resemble the dish.
Server was "just ok". Didn't even get his name. Where the server lacked in personality, "Duke" Ellington made up for on the grill. Besides overcooking our steaks he made this dining experience memorable. That says a lot.. overcooked hibachi steaks and still giving a good review. He did offer to cook another but we were hungry and ready to eat. Choked down what I could of the steak and enjoyed the heck out of the rest of the meal (ordered splash and meadow.. shrimp was delightful). Will return and will ask for "Duke"so he can redeem himself on the steaks. Amazing experience.. will return to this location. Oh and had to pay $10 to park.. wasn't excited about that but will return.
Terrible service and very slow we went on a Monday had reservations for 7 got seated at 7:30 didn’t start eating until 8:10 (soup and salad) main course to longer didn’t leave until 9:30 ish fastest thing was server bringing the check :(
First and last time going
Very bad experience. Waited over 40 minutes for our reservation. Once seated it took another 10 minutes for a waiter to come over. Then we finally ordered and received drinks and then waited another 45 minutes for a chef that never came and we had to leave and go somewhere else. Would never recommend this location to anyone
Hostess was extremely rude and unorganized . Overseated the restaurant and reservations were left waiting . Manager didn’t offer any compensations
Restaurant was not clean.. a long wait despite a reservation..
Bathrooms were filthy, service was terrible and VEEEEEEERY SLOW! Very disappointing!

We use this location often but this time I was highly disappointed. We had a 4:30 reservation. We were not seated until 5:10 and did not have anyone begin to cook our food until 6:10. Highly unacceptable. My husband and I were taking our 4 year old to see Disney on Ice and wanted a nice dinner before hand. By the time we finally got to eat, we were so rushed that it was hardly enjoyable. More of eating as fast as possible to be at Phillips arena before 7:30. Will definitely rethink using this location again if I have somewhere I need to be afterwards.
For anyone who have never been to Benihanna, should experience it at least once...Amazing!!

We had a great experience and a great time for our first time
Once I got there, I waited an additional 30 minutes which I really didn’t mind. Once we sat down, it took the chef almost 45 minutes just to come to the table. At that, there was no show or anything. I came to give my children an experience. I have no clue why there wasn’t a show. I mean, that’s the reason I chose a hibachi grill.
The food was good. My reservation was for 6:30, and I was seated promptly, but the chef didn't come to the table until 8. I was starving. The delay between when my fried rice was prepared and the rest of my meal was so long until I ate almost all my fried rice before the rest of my meal was ready. I think my chef was new. It didn't seem his heart was in entertaining. However, I was so hungry, it didn't really matter. But, when it's all said and done, I would go again.

We went to the downtown location due to its convenience to our activities of the day. The location seemed to be ill-organized, and the management was curt and unprofessional in questions around timing until table availability.
Disappointing personalities aside, the food was good and our cook was (as always) extremely good at what he did. Benihana is always an experience, and this was no different.
My main suggestion to the management there is that you're not managing a Chili's or a McDonald's. Better service and better demeanor is expected when you're asked questions. I'm about to drop hundreds of dollars, not tens of dollars. Please behave like it.
Despite having a resetvation we waited 30 minutes to be seated and another 1 hour before the cooked came to table. We got there only a hour after opening and they werent that busy. The waiter barley checked on our table because it got busy and he was was running back and forth to other tables. We had questions about the menu which he didnt explain very well and we eneded up with upexpected charges. The staff was arguing back and forth and staff from the back was sittting down while we have yet to place a order. I probably wont visit this location again. Took forever to bring the check to the table.
I would say go to another location, however, I accidentally pushed the wrong address. When I arrived at the wrong Benihana (that is only 15 mins away) the host was kind of rude. However, at the correct location, I had to pay for parking since it was downtown. At the downtown location, the waiting area is small. I arrived close to my reservation time so luckily I did not have to stand too long. My dining experience was not the best. It seemed as if they were understaffed on this pictural day. Within the hour of sitting there, all we received were our soups and drinks. So much time had went pass our chef came over before our salad had arrived. The manager accommodated one of the there groups at the table. However, he should have had addressed the whole table. I will not be back.

Well, I always go to the Buckhead location, so I thought I would give this one a try. Mistake. We got lost so we decided to call the restaurant so that they could help, the woman who answered the phone claimed she wasn't from Atlanta and she couldn't help. I dont understand why she would answer the phone??? Our cook JoJo was awesome he was very kind and friendly and you could tell he loved his job!!
To start off the host on this night was rude and he didn't know have great customer service at all when i approached him to ask him about my reservation he stated WHAT did he tell me BEFORE which i FELT was rude and that was his job to tell me when i would be seated... My cook was boring and didn't interact with the people at my table at all he looked unhappy or upset to be at work.. This was my first time here and I'm not sure if ill return back..
