We were seated at 7:30. Got our drinks 50 minutes after being seated. Salads were out by 8:45 PM and the chef didn’t start cooking until 9:10. We were there for 2.5 hours, missed our show after dinner. These 2 ladies were sat at our table and they were so rude to the staff, absolute zero manners. It was overall just not a great experience. My boyfriend has been to Benihana’s many times before it was my first time and I don’t think we’ll ever be back. The only positive aspect of the dinner was the food was fantastic when it finally was ready.

The food was overall okay. It no longer taste the same as before. I don't like that you have to get a whole entry when you sit at the table now.

Our waitress acted as if she didn’t know the menu. Our chef was stingy and slightly impatient. The food was good and one of the managers was very pleasant and helpful

I had reservations at 9pm and was seated at 927pm, our server put in our order wrong and in late where we was not served until 1045pm. It was two other tables that was served before us and we came first. We never received anything we requested, one lady asked for salt (never received it) one had an alcohol beverage and didn’t receive until 10 minutes before the chef arrived. The service was poorly and we was never checked on until we asked for a manager. Food was rushed and I had stomach aches in the morning.

Went for my mother’s birthday. Waited 30 mins to get a waitress and almost 1.5 hours total to get food on the grill. It wasn’t busy in there at all. Two tables sat down after us and they were packed up before our cook even came outside. I did mention it to the manager at the end of our service after seeing them at a table about to eat. He took $35 off our $200 meal. My mother enjoyed the food.

This was my first — and definitely my only — visit to Benihana's Atlanta location on Peachtree. We were seated at 5:51 PM, but the chef didn’t arrive at our table until 7:24 PM. That’s nearly 90 minutes of waiting, with several updates from the staff/management stating 10 minutes, 15 minutes, or 5 minutes more. The food wasn't served until 8 PM, and we didn’t leave until 8:35 PM. For what’s supposed to be an engaging and entertaining dining experience, this visit missed the mark completely. When the food did arrive, it was brought out on a dirty cart with stained trays, not what you expect at this price point. The chef had minimal interaction with our table, and when he did speak, it was hard to hear anything he said. The food itself was overly greasy and heavily loaded with butter and sodium, which made it almost inedible. All in all, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, this visit to Benihana Atlanta left a lot to be desired.

My wife and I had our first date there in 1982. Denim clothing was NOT allowed. Now it’s all changed. A woman in pajamas and house shoes sat next to us while we waited on our table. Also a guy in there in a tank top and basketball shorts. Definitely lost its high class appeal. The music was more like a dance club and just added to the unpleasantness of the overall experience. We had a reservation for 5 and still had to wait 20 plus minutes to get seated and nearly missed our show. Our server was very good! Our cook although not the best cook in the world was very pleasant and entertaining. We were very disappointed.

I made reservations and had to wait an hour and a half before being seated. Once we got to our table we had to wait another hour just in order for us to get a chef to start cooking. He did an amazing job. The food was excellent. we had a waitress by the name of Niecey And she was good. I strongly suggest that when they are packed to capacity, they should close the reservation, at least to get caught up, but instead they kept receiving people that was walking in on top of the people who already made a reservation which made the wait even longer, and that is just Poor management…. The manager for the evening of May 25 at the Buckhead location in Atlanta need to be taken back through proper management skills when an establishment is under staff and overworked due to the amount of people that was there I understand about getting money for the company, but this type of environment made your customers more in an outrage from waiting for a absolute long time

We had 9:30pm reservation and didn’t get any food until 11pm. The restaurant was extremely unorganized and took forever to seat us. It was absolutely not an upscale experience to match the price point. By the time our hibachi chef got to our table, he had no interest in entertaining and just rushed through our dinner service.
