Have appointment and was waiting with my wife like 20 minutes front of the entrance desk and we have to live because got tire stand waiting and no buddy contact us
Not the full experience, but they made it very comfortable for the times we are all in. It was great to be able to get the awesome food.
We were extremely excited about one of my favorite restaurants being open for outdoor dining. Our service was outstanding and I felt very appreciated! Unfortunately it felt as if the rice was pre-cooked and didn’t have the garlic taste that we are accustomed to from the grill. Also it would be nice to have some silk plants or some form of ambiance in the tent area but it was a great lunch.
I think that if you can wait till the pandemic ends, it will be a better experience.
The waiter was rude, questioning why I needed a straw and talking to us like we were dumb( we had some first timers) .

Did not realize it would be outdoor dining, food was cold and not to satisfactory. I would not go back for outdoor dining. Pricing was high for what we paid for.
I spent a great deal of time reading your website and how the restaurant was taking. An extra step with the high powered air vents that circulate 39 time the air making it safe during COVID. I get the grandkids and hype up all the fun we were going to have watching them cook. I get there and the tent is in the parking lot and the guy looks at me like I’m crazy when I explain how disappointed we were.
We did have a nice dinner across the parking lot at the Mexican restaurant (indoors).
I would have liked to know that only outside seating was available. The point was to enjoy the show.. wasn’t quite the same and finding out when we showed up left us no time to change plans
Pretty much under a tent and the food experience wasn’t that great since they brought the food to us rather than cooking in front of us!
I made a reservation because it seemed it was going to be indoor or at least someone cooking in front of you. The front desk recited my phone number then said she would text me when my table is ready. There was no one around and nobody waiting. Tons of tables open. Got there at my reservation time and she made me wait. No music so awkward. Atmosphere was very poor. Would not recommend to anyone during this panny
I think Benihana has done a pretty good job following the guidelines during this pandemic. We come here every year to celebrate birthdays. We know that this is a pricy meal but you pay for the experience. Unfortunately, during this time they are not able to perform their normal cooking show. We were happy to support during this time and the servers did their best to give us the best service possible. The food was still really good.
Made us wait 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated and they have no heaters outside, and the hostess had no customer service , we ended up leaving and not even eating there
It was really great, I took my wife for valentines and I was please with the service and the food choice. Thank you I will definitely come back to this location.

Service was poor food came out cold sushi for appetizer took forever as was told sushi is backed up I think the to go orders were the reason should have more staff to prepare food and the prices were high especially when u don’t get that experience of the chef cooking in front of u also u need heaters in the tent and it wasn’t that busy not a good experience not sure if I’ll b back I paid $130 dollars for that bad experience so sad because ur restaurant was always good hope u look at this and make some changes good luck
Customer service terrible. Waited over an hour for our food. Food was kinda cold. Originally brought me the wrong order. Waitress took a long time to refill my drinks. Multiple times asking for sauces.
Love the sushi we purchased, shrimp crunchy roll. Service was excellent, they were always making sure were were okay and enjoying our meal. They also made sure if we needed anything else to make the meal better. Will come back to try some more food! Thanks for this great experience.
We went for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and the service was so horrible there was a man who just paid and left. I had asked my server for a refill and it took him 15 minutes to bring it out and by then i had choked and needed to drink from my boyfriends drink. But the food was good cold but good.
Normally I have an absolutely great experience at Benihana, as I have been there at least 200 times in the last 38 years, but the pandemic has tainted my favorite dining destination. I am so looking forward to getting back to a normal dining experience at Benihana. Benihana is not built for outdoor dining, but I know that it's going to get better.
I went to take my toddler out on a date. No where on any media platform said that the restaurant was closed, considering we had eaten there about a month ago.
I was allowed to make a reservation, however when I got there, they were closed with the doors locked.
I was pretty peeved considering my son was so excited I was taking him here.

When we go there they said they are closed for Covid since Tuesday 17th Nov & I made the reservation on Wed 18th for Thursday 19

My family and I will Never Dine at this Benihana's again!!! The only thing good was our Chef and the food. Service not even fair empty dish were left on table until my party and the other party had to say something about it. No refills were given or offer until we had to ask a different server to provide. When we ask our server what was going on we were told we weren't the only table he was attending. Yes we understand that but our food wasn't FREE and if we couldn't be attended then ask for help or get someone else!!!! We are very frequent at the Newport Beach Benihana unfortunately they were booked and that's the reason why we visited the Anaheim location for the first time and NEVER AGAIN....

Over all experience was great! I think this was the best Benihana experience I've ever had. We got seated right at our reservation time, food was great! Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the hostess to our waitress, to our cook!
