I had a party of 9 and we were seated close to our reserved time which is great for the North End. The server was wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. We had tickets to the Improv Asylum close to dinner time and Mia took care to insure everything was served on time. Food was fantastic and I especially enjoyed the shrimp and Broccoli Penne! Will be back!
Wonderful grilled fig and pear salad, and their pizza was awesome. So glad we ate there
Best pizza I had in Boston. We also ordered the bruschetta & it was out of this world delicious!!! Jennifer our waitress was a gem. Can't wait to visit again.
We were disappointed to be seated in the cold basement, which caused the poor score for ambiance. Our server was fantastic though which helped the experience. Pasta was fresh, pizza was so so. Most felt value was good.
Crowded, noisy, food okay but nothing special. Was asked to change tables in middle of meal.
Good food, great service!
I liked it because they had gluten free options including pizza and pasta. The various TVs had sports on. Our service was good.
It was awesome!
Took a group of work colleagues (8) there for a late dinner to experience the North End and it was fantastic! Our server, Eve, made it even better with her easy going manner and her helpful suggestions. It was not my first time there, but it was for everyone else. Everything was delicious, and it was priced reasonably. The complimentary limoncello was a special touch. I'll certainly be back, and so will everyone in my group. Thanks for a great experience!
Spinach crepes - delicious
Pizza - underwhelming
Lovely service! Overall it was a good experience
Food was excellent! They first tried to seat us in the basement which looked like a dungeon and smelled like bleach. Horrible. Waited for a table upstairs which was much better. Apps came out at the exact same time as the food which was not ideal. However the food was so good that we will be back !
I ordered the Veal parm and it was very good. The homemade fusilli pasta was not the best - cut very thick and not cooked enough. They gave us free Limoncello shots after dinner which was a nice surprise.
Food and service was excellent. Homemade pasta was terrific. A very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Small place with limited tables but didn't feel crowded. I will definitely be back when I am in the city of Boston again.
Our table had pasta, a salad, and veal. Everything was delicious. Reservations necessary on a Friday night.
Fresh seafood and pasta with friends from long ago and in my favorite neighborhood of Boston
The food was beyond amazing! Highly recommend the lobster ravioli, spinach crepes, eggplant rolantini and espresso martini, just unbelievablely delicious, generous portions and affordable.
The food was great. My wife and I got a lobster ravioli appetizer and the benevento pizza. It was sufficient for us. The bread was ok with no olive oil provided, just packaged butter.
The ambiance was a bit of a let down since we were expecting to go out for a date night - the place was loud, not exactly spanking clean, had sports on TVs throughout the place and not just at the bar. This place is very busy, so expect a wait even if your have a reservation.
I would visit again but not for a date, maybe a quick casual bite.
Great wine and grilled pizza! Its a go to spot for great food.
Don’t know why they list on OpenTable. Making a reservation is a useless exercise. You will still be standing on street corner in the cold or rain or heat. They could care less.
Great as always!
Had to wait 45 minutes for table despite reservation....
Great gluten free options and knowledge of coeliac
Food was great, especially the Bruschetta! Everything tasted freshly prepared when we visited for dinner.
Note that the restaurant has some of its seating downstairs, so if anybody in your party has diffuculty with stairs make sure to let them kmow when you book your reservation!
Wanted a place in the North End that was reasonably priced and where I could make a reservation for a Fri night. When we arrived our entire party was not there yet, but we sat at the bar for a drink and the hostess was great in working with us to be sure we would have a table. I would recommend a pizza - very good - and my daughter said the chicken saltimbocca was great. Not much on atmosphere, but good food at decent prices if you just want a decent meal in the North End and it's not a special occasion.
Food and atmosphere was excellent. Had the chicken parmigiana and pumpkin ravioli, both were excellent. The pumpkin ravioli is sweet with a touch of saltiness that makes it pop. I had the chicken (which was tender and cooked through) parmigiana on a bed of al dente penne pasta.
The gluten free carbonara is amazing!
I started my meal with the Barrata salad. It was served on a bed of arugula with roasted red peppers and a balsamic glaze dressing. The cheese had just the right consistency of soft and fishy on the inside while firm on the outside. For dinner, I had the Shrimp and Scallop Benevento. Oh my goodness!!! I wish I could make scallops half as delicious as this was prepared. The flavor was fantastic.
My server was gracious. She allowed me to take my time deciding on my menu choices. When my dinner was served, she came right over asking if I wanted fresh shaved parmigiana cheese. Then maybe a couple bites into my meal, she popped over to see if I was happy with my meal.
Overall, it was a great experience. Next time I am in town I will visit again. I think the restaurant can handle small and large groups. If you are in a large group it might be difficult to communicate so make sure you are sitting next to someone you like.
The waitress was helpful narrowing the choices on the menu.
The food was good and the portions were large, always a good combination. The staff was attentive, the water glasses were refilled without needing to be asked, but not hovering. It was a great night out with friends.
We will definitely go back.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday. Everything was perfect! Can’t wait for our next visit!
We had a great dinner with friends. Benevento’s fusilli is the best! Me personally, I had the shrimp fra-diavolo and it was delicious. Our server Diane, was so friendly and proved excellent service
As are most North End restaurants the seating was tight but other than that just a great place. Food was excellent.
Amazing food and amazing wine, highly recommend if you're on the north end!
Food was wonderful!! Our server jennifer was very good! Will definitely go back!! This place is a find!!
Made reservations last week, good thing because there was a long wait. Food was amazing... the chicken Marsala had a great sauce so did the eggplant.
The restaurant gave out a shot of limoncello!
Great service!! Food was delicious. Especially loved the lobster ravioli! Yum!!
Excellent whole made Italian food and wood oven pizzas! Kid-friendly environment (went with 4 kids ranging from 9 months to 8 years old) and knowledgeable wait staff!
Food is awesome and reasonably priced.
Great food, great service. Unfortunately, we were a group of 6 and were seated right across from the kitchen. To say the constant clattering of plates was un-nerving would be an understatement...and it was constant. We couldn't have a conversation because of the noise. Next time, we'll request a table in the back or downstairs! Way too loud.
