Nice restaurant with attentive staff. Food was good but not outstanding.
I was disappointed I made a reservation and when. I got to the restaurant someone had pretend to be me and took my table and the waitress let them take it even though we arrived at the same time then we had to wait 25min to be seated even though I made a reservation ahead of time the hostess decided to let the people have our table.
Great service. Family friendly
Our waiter was the best!!!
The restaurant was very busy being that it was Easter sunday brunch time. The kitchen was slammed but we were cool with our Prosecco and Appetizers.
Nora the manager was on hand to calm the storm and our waiter, Jeremy was helpful and personable.
My family (with 3 children had a great time.
Very good food prepared quickly and presented well. Service is very efficient with a very nicely controlled noise level.
Delicious meal with friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The waiter gave us good service and brought plenty of fried garbanzo beans. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the tuna melt which was made with real albacore and the best she has ever had. I highly recommend the churros for dessert with melted chocolate dipping sauce. If you have a chance, sit out on the patio.
Great food and service! We enjoyed our first time and we plan to go back and try some of the other menu items.
Great lunch time stop. Good variety of fresh salads and sandwiches. Also great for a late afternoon beer and appetizers.
The service was great but our food was just okay (ordered the cajun seafood skewer and the cheeseburger).
within easy walking distance to the Granada Theater.
Really good food. Great service.
Had a very nice, early New Years Eve dinner on the outside patio. Space for 10 of us. Everyone enjoyed it.
Excellent place to eat. Varied menu, with everything tasting spectacular. Process reasonable. Service excellent! Can't wait to visit again
consistently good food and service. The price is right!
We ate on the outside patio and had a great table in the corner facing the side street which may be why I rated it as quiet. The outside patio has a nice ambience. Wait staff was attentive and I felt we got good value for our meal. We went here as a group before attending a downtown event and the location was ideal. We will go here again.
Our server was very nice but the food wasn’t good (sad charcuterie, bland pasta, cold sides). The menu sounds interesting and upscale but isn’t executed well. The soda tasted like the lines needed maintenance and the co2 needed to be changed. No one else was eating there on a Saturday night. Overall, a depressing experience.
The staff is outstanding. WE love the cute blond with the 2 pigtails.
Delicious food. Great, energetic server, happy place.
We had a 530 reservation and arrived at 5:25 we were seated promptly and ordered approximately five minutes after our arrival.
The waiter was very polite took our order which did not arrive to the table until 625.
My daughter ordered the fish tacos which came with the strand of hair on top of them which he pointed out immediately after the waiter at the plate down .
We had 7 o’clock concert tickets to the Santa Barbara bowl right up the street from restaurant
Wait that by getting there by 5:30 we would’ve been able to order and finish our food and arrive at the concert and plenty of time unfortunately that wasn’t the case by the time we finished our meal having to wait for a hairless fish taco plate we arrived at our concert 20 minutes late .
Stopped in before a concert and had a couple of drinks with dinner. Everything was great!
Ended up walking out after 15 mins of no service and not even seeing a waiter or waitress
Great food choice and fantastic service, will defineatly go back again.
adorable covered patio, great fried chickpeas upon seating. Serves Brophy Bros chowder. Delicious muscles, burgers, calamari. Great local beers.
I love the food and the service is outstanding. First time for Brunch and it was more than good. The shrimp taco's are soooooooooo good.
I have been to Benchmark 15-20 times. We have always had an excellent service. This time our waitress was too busy spending time than attend to us and was chatting with the hostess.
I ordered the ribs and the sauce they had was much spicer which ruined the ribs for me. I only ate half the ribs and had to throw out the rest of them. I don’t know if it was the ribs but I have had an upset stomach the last few days.
We really enjoyed the look and feel of this place but, the food and service was just okay in our opinion. The server we had was pushy. We hadn't even sat down yet at the table and looked at the menus when she came to our table three times to ask for our drink order. We like efficient service but, let us sit down and bring waters in the meantime. Then after getting our food, we barely saw her. Also, the kids burger was awful - the meat looked terrible and cheap. My husband had the steak which was overcooked and I had the Cobb salad which was good but a little pricey for what it was. Hopefully it was just an off night because the place has a cool vibe but, if not - I hope these thoughts are taken into account.
Food was ok - nothing special. Went to Jane up the street the night before. It was much nicer and not much more expensive.
Attentive service and good food in a casual, friendly environment.
Great service. Huge portions. Open air patio. Great experience. Will be back. Definitely recommend.
It was decent.... very busy and loud due to crowds from the parade. Walked by the kitchen and it was pretty filthy as were the bathrooms.
It got a little too noisy to converse for the elderly and it took too long for drinks. It is understandable because of Summer Solstice people where enjoying themselves!
Met before the Bowl for dinner. The Brussels sprouts were awesome and I loved the chopped salad.
Good casual food!
Great food. Wonderful service! A little noisy but we sat inside and it was much better.
I would give it an overall Meh...I would rather spend my dining money someplace not so loud, and while we had reservations, they stuffed us inside between 2 parties with kids (there were plenty of tables outside with just couples like us, and all adults.) The garlic clam appetizer was pretty good. The Cioppino was pretty basic, nothing to write home about, and the seafood was cooked perfectly, not overdone. Partner had the eggplant parmesan, and it wan't over the top (and we had to ask for bread to go with it...not sure what was up with that.) Waiter didn't come around too frequently, so he lost out on additional drink/beer orders.
Enjoyed a very nice casual brunch last Sunday. Liked the patio dining and veggie benedict was tasty
Very good food and service. Very noisy. Excellent value.
Came here for a birthday and even mentioned it when I reserved my table and nothing was even brought up or mentioned about it. The food was great and drinks were flavorful but mixed drinks over priced for the little alcohol content. Waiter was not attentive and every time we ordered more drinks it was from someone else asking if we wanted another but wasn’t our waiter; maybe it was the manager? AND for a Saturday night it was slow so not sure if the waiter just didn’t like us? He was more attentive to a table of 5 ordering water and two appetizers than he was us who was spending over $100 bucks for two people. Server made me feel like I was inconveniencing him and rushed us. We were there for two hours, ordered 6 drinks, two appetizers and two full entrees and he acted like we were wasting his time. I didn’t feel appreciated as a customer. Overall service is lacking but food was great. Not sure if I’d come again based on service.
