Drinks were good. Appetizer of lobster and crab dip didn’t have discernible lobster or crab in it. The special (lobster tail topped with crab cake) was over cooked and dry. Disappointing for the reputation this establishment has.
Staff was amazing as always. Thank you
Food is excellent, staff and service are top notch. If there is a better fine dining restaurant in Lancaster County I don't know about it.
My husband and I were in on Friday night and sat on the outside terrace which was absolutely wonderful.our server was Jimmy and he was AMAZING! There was an issue with my salad and he went above and beyond to resolve the issue and to make sure we were happy with our experience. My husband’s dinner was amazing as well as our appetizers and drinks. Overall a very pleasant experience and really enjoyed have Jimmy for a server.
Great food! Loved the outdoor villa! Jimmy did a great job making sure we had a great evening!
Excellent ambience. Wonderful service and the food was exquisite.
Love this place
Great atmosphere, awesome service and excellent food. We are never disappointed! Thank you, we will back!
We love dining at the Belvedere! One of our absolute favorites. With the pandemic we haven’t been going many places but thought we would try it because we trust their service and staff- and because it was my husbands birthday. They did not disappoint!!! We felt very safe and had a wonderful evening. I am also pregnant and all staff were super knowledgeable about their ingredients and preparations so I could eat everything I wanted! We will always go back! Cannot recommend this establishment enough.
First time dining here and absolutely loved it ! Will definitely be back! Shoutout to our awesome waiter Jimmy !
First time back after the COVID shutdown. COVID precautions in place- Staff wore their masks correctly & barriers were in place between the tables. I felt incredibly safe while dining.
The service provided by Jimmy was excellent! The food was just as delicious prior to the shut down.
So glad one of our favorites has reopened for business.
We are never disappointed at the Belvedere. The staff, the food, the ambiance and everything about this venue is fantastic. You will always be satisfied. It is a top 3 places to eat in my book
The ambiance is beautiful but the food overall didn’t match the setting. We didn’t care for the Escargot with hazelnuts (while the sauce was decent the escargot themselves were flavorless) and even though we only ate three of them and told our server we didn’t like them it was still left on our check. We also ordered fried mozzarella triangles for appetizers which were essentially just super size mozzarella sticks (despite the server saying how good and fresh the mutz was). The avocado and crab tower appetizer was really underseasoned. For entree my partner had the salmon was she said was very good- I ordered the venison chop and rabbit sausage entree. I did confirm that the chop would be cooked medium rare but then when it came out it was almost medium well. They refired me another entree but then I had to sit without food for another 15 minutes while they cooked it. All this being said- we were celebrating our engagement and it just was a disappointing experience. Though the manager did come by to wish us a happy engagement the servers who took care of us didn’t make it feel special for us at all, and I don’t think they did enough to mitigate the missteps that were made with the food. Again, ambiance is gorgeous- drinks were delicious but food and service was kinda ho hum.
AS ALWAYS A TREAT AND THE BEST,HAPPY TO SEE IT BACK.
Server was great and food was great. So experience was well great
I love this place. My partner got the salmon, over mushroom rice. I got the special, Lobster Tail stuffed with crab cake, potatoes, and broccolini.
It hurts to give this review. Sadly it also hurt my wallet to spend $150 dollars on an anniversary meal with undercooked rice, overcooked lobster, undercooked potatoes, and broccolini that tasted absolutely appalling. I was offended by that broccolini. I was so caught off guard we just paid and left. The whole meal was such a mess we would have been waiting for an two entirely newly cooked entrees if we complained.
The salmon on my partners was plate was cooked very well and the dessert was great. We muddled through the rest of our meals as best as we could leaving behind the rice and broccolini, potatoes, etc.
I am unsure if I will want to return and would suggest others spend their money elsewhere if this is the amount of quality control it dropped to.
I considered this place to be some of the best food this side of PA. Sad if this is what has come of it.
Amazing as always! Henry is an awesome server - great help narrowing our choices because there are always so many!
This place never misses a beat!! Everything was fantastic! We were happy to be back. Looking forward to dining weekly.
Disappointed. I always loved this place. Since they had hired a new chef a few years ago my steak is always dry. The previous chef put a butter in his steaks which made it delicious. No choice of vegetable. Broccoli was the only vegetable available. I think you should be able to chose between two vegetables. Very disappointed.
We really enjoyed ourselves.
We love the Belvedere it's our favorite restaurant in Lancaster!
Food was amazing, especially the veal Oscar. Outstanding drinks and ambiance. Henry, our server, was amazing. Perfect date night!
The Belvedere is in a great building with excellent service and food.
Wonderful food, great service. Tables are placed nice and far apart to allow for comfortable dining during a pandemic, as well as a quiet ambiance that allows for private conversation. Table was ready at reservation time, and we did not feel rushed within the 90 minute reservation time frame. Loved that we got to support a fantastic local restaurant!
Pricey. Good food but cost outweighs the quality of food. I ate there 2 years ago and remember the food being better.
Had drinks with an old friend
Can't wait to go back again. The food was good, especially the lobster bisque. Great service!
Outstanding Valentine Day Dinner. Veal Oscar was great. Most notable from past times dinning, was how quiet it was. Covid-19 restrictions have 50% capacity rules, that with clear plastic petitions around tables made it easy to hold a conversation. Jamie, a long time waiter there, did an excellent job.
Our server was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was much less than expected. Steak was dry. Definitely overpriced for the value.
Our server Henry was excellent! Attentive and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Got the Belvedere Bread (tasty!!), Veal Oscar, and the Filet and Scallops special. Cooked perfectly. Thank you for such a wonderful Valentine's Day dining experience.
We got seated right away the waiter was great and the food was outstanding we enjoyed it very much
Food has suffered during COVID- Hope it makes a comeback
The experience was pleasant but the aged strip was disappointing. It was very expensive $51 just for the entree which was very mediocre and the steak was overdone. The Belvie bread, soup and creme brule were very good. My advice is to stick with a menu item and not the more expensive specials. Thanks
The menu was a bit limited but certainly understand with just reopening. My veal was ok but I have had better meals at Belvedere. Our waiter, Tate, was absolutely fantastic.
Great as always. Food excellent and drinks on the spot.
My boyfriend and I went out to an early Valentine’s Dinner, Henry was an amazing server! He helped guide us through our experience and it was an amazing time. The service we had was unlike any other we had previously. We can’t wait to go back again and hope to have Henry again in the future.
The Belvedere is always an outstanding experience and that remains true even with COVID regulations in place. The service was incredible, the food even better, but most of all my wife and I felt safe. We'll be back soon!
Excellent service and food, as always. Don’t miss dining in one of the villas this winter - highly recommend!
I had the Braised Short Ribs which was excellent. Service was beyond excellent
