Excellent food and excellent service! Highly recommend
Great food and friendly efficient service
Always a wonderful experience dining here. Great selection of cocktails and fabulous entrees. We were promptly waited on by Lindsay, who was so friendly and knowledgeable of everything. We really enjoyed having her for our server and would definitely return and ask for her. Overall a fantastic evening spent at the Belvedere!
We found the bar welcoming and cozy. Super nice bartender. I think we found a new home after loosing our dear FENZ. LOOK FORWARD TO DINING AGAIN.
The meal was superb! Service excellent!
We had the filet and the fish special, delicious!
Great as always!! Our friends loved it. It was their first time there.
The staff is so accommodating. At the last minute we called to add another couple to our reservation. the restaurant was full, but they called back in about 15 minutes after shuffling and were able to help us! Great wait staff, wonderful food.
We dined there during Restaurant week and it was very busy. We ordered off the special menu and both enjoyed our meal. From the appetizer to the dessert we enjoyed each course.
Cool spot. Great food and live music
The Belvedere Inn is always a favorite and never disappoints. Whether for lunch, dinner, or drinks at the bar, their food is always well prepared and the staff is extremely professional.
Always great food and great service in a relaxed environment. I have never been disappointed.
The food and service at Bellvedere Inn when I dined there this week were nothing short of amazing!! The service was prompt and timely - checking in just enough but not overbearing (although the water pitcher man took his job a little too seriously). The menu is fairly priced seeing as the food is the best I’ve ever eaten in Lancaster County. The only thing that left me with a slightly bad taste in my mouth was that I asked to substitute a glass of wine for creme brûlée (part of restaurant week deal and I do not eat processed sugars) and I was told that their $9 glass of Cabernet was $5 more than their creme brûlée... I found that a bit hard to believe.... other than that, our dining experience exceeded my expectations.
We had lunch as part of Lancaster Restaurant Week. There was a nice selection for all three courses. The food and service were spot on! Delish!
Food was great as always, but ;the noise level was much higher than usual
As always, The Belvedere provided us with a wonderful dining experience. We visited this time during restaurant week, which enabled us to sample other items on their menu. Our server, Lindsey, was fantastic, as she checked on us often, helped with the menu selections, and was extremely cordial and polite. We consider this one of our special "go to" restaurants for any special occasion, or when we are looking for an upscale dining experience. We have been going there for years, and it has never failed to impress us with their quality of food and service.
Loved the fact that they gave us a round table conducive to conversation. It happened to be restaurant week, and they had some nice options at a reasonable price.
Great food and service. Attended for restaurant but half of us went off the regular menu. We'll be back.
We enjoyed a delicious and economical three course lunch in honor of Restaurant Week. The food was amazing and the service divine.
I don’t come here often but when I do I always wonder why I don’t hear more often. Such an excellent and consistent quality of food and service which isn’t everywhere. Great job!
Birthday. Amazing meal!! Loved our experience.
We arrived on time, but had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table, despite having made reservations almost a month in advance. The ambiance has declined from an elegant dining experience to a noisy crowded place. It was nearly impossible to hold a conversation with anyone at the table unless they were sitting next to you. While they were very gracious about celebrating my mother's 88th birthday, it was overall a disappointing evening. Not sure I can recommend bring a group to this place again.
My wife and I dined here for a Valentine's meal, albeit 2 weeks after Valentine's!
Food and service were very good. Although we had reservations, we still had to wait a bit for our table. We ran into friends in the bar area, so the wait was not that much of an issue. The decor is elegant and tasteful. Our waiter was knowledgable and attentive, and engaged in conversation with us, which I always enjoy. We both ordered the grilled romaine salad, which the Belvedere Inn is known for. It was very good, but not a knock out salad. Our entrees were the trout (a special menu item) and beef short ribs. Both were quite good, prepared and presented expertly. The short ribs were rich and very tender. The asparagus was done perfectly, which is always a good sign. If the kitchen cares about the vegetables, they usually care about everything else. The accompanying mac and cheese were a tad dry and not anything special. My wife had the trout. She was uncertain about ordering this dish, but glad she did. The waiter was helpful in steering her to this choice. It was tender and tasty, with an accompanying smokey tomato vinaigrette, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts were the weakest part of the meal. I had the apple pear bread pudding and she had the pots de creme, a 3 chocolate custard. Instead of being a custard consistency, it was very solid and extremely rich. The portion was huge, which in this case, was not a plus. The bread pudding was formed into a cup shape and also was too solid for my liking. I've had good bread pudding, and when done correctly, is moist and soft.
We were seated in the first floor dining area. Our table was very nice, but the room noise varied from a reasonable level where we could have conversation to times when it was so loud that we could barely hear each other talk. All in all though, a very pleasant dining experience. When returning, I would request a more quiet area of the restaurant.
We had a great time. Our waiter was fantastic and food was delicious. This is a great place to go for a special occasion but not really everyday dining. We can’t wait for a reason to go back.
Very very very loud!!!
Great food and service as always! Our favorite restaurant!
Very nice, nice extra touch with the Birthday welcome cards and the complimentary birthday dessert. Definitely will be back.
We always have a great time at the Belvedere. they welcome service dogs and bing treats.
1st time. Excellent service and attention from staff.
Came for college visit and wanted good food within walking distance from hotel (Marriott). Read previous reviews and wanted a variety to choose from but family friendly and not too fancy. Made reservation on open table.
Waiter was fantastic, offered suggestions on menu and was spot on. Son had lobster Mac and cheese for appetizer and it was very good. Husband and I had crab dip appetizer and it was excellent. Filet and ribs were very good. Dessert was fine but definitely could have done without.
Atmosphere was on the louder side but we didn’t mind that as we weren’t looking for quiet.
Diverse crowd of families with small children, couples, families with teens and older adults. Seems to cater to all.
If we come back to Lancaster would definitely go there again.
I tried the beet risotto and it was quite good. We enjoy the Belvedere for a different dinner option. Highly recommend having a reservation- even for a Monday evening. Love the seasonal menu offering.
We were celebrating my mothers birthday and from the minute we walked in, the staff made her feel special. Great food and service. Highly recommend!!!
We were there to celebrate a Birthday Celebration, as we have enjoyed several enjoyable visits in the past. As we had made advanced reservations our requested seating was honored. The service and food was excellent! Kudos to the staff, the Bar and the Kitchen for making the evening most enjoyable!
We will return again and again. Highly recommended.
The entire waitstaff were very attentive and our meal was delicious. Excellent value for what we had!
The Belvedere was impressive as per usual! We had great tasting meals and our server was great!
We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day on Sunday and went to The Belvedere Inn as we liked it the first time we went there. Everything was as great as the last time! The Belvie Bread is excellent! We also had soup (Tomato Bisque and Lobster Bisque) which were awesome. Then we had Filet Mignon and Surf & Turf which were bot excellent with great sides! Oh, and the cocktails were fantastic too! Our server, Tate, was outstanding as were all the staff! We plan to go back again in a few months!!! Worth the drive!!!
Overall great place to dine. Probably the best food ive had in a while. Surf and turf, shrimp Caesar salad. Only complaint was the cheese fondue was a little cold but server took care of it right away, was the reason why i gave 4 stars if not would have gave 5 stars. Would definitely recommend and will for sure be going back. Great tasting drinks.
You just can't go wrong by picking The Belvedere.
Awesome food and service. Great atmosphere.
The night was amazing and food was amazing. The service is always great.
An evening with friends is always better when spent at your place. Our particular evening was shared with a group of friends and a friend who traveled from Switzerland. The food was perfect along with the service. We always enjoy time spent in the Crazy Shirley Lounge. Having live music always adds to the ambiance of the evening.
Excellent as always! Great food and service! Best in town!
