I've always enjoyed dining at The Belvedere. The drinks were exceptional. I rate their mussels appetizer as one of my favorite eats on the planet. They always have a lovely assortment of entrees to choose from and the desserts are always top notch. Our waiter did a great job of both entertaining and taking care of us. I can't wait to return!
I had my birthday celebration at the Belvedere on Saturday May 8th. I completely forget our servers name but she was amazing and very accommodating! We wanted to add one more to our party and she added another person without making us feel like a bother. The drinks and food were amazing also!
Our server, Jimmy, was so friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the lobster bisque and the lobster and crab dip! There happened to be live jazz playing the night we went, so it elevated our dining experience even more.
The charred ceasar salad is amazing and the house drink special was very refreshing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the wine recommendation paired perfectly.
From the service to the food everything was outstanding.
Jenn was fabulous as per the norm. Food wonderful!
Perfect hamburger and Caesar salad. Excellent service. And, the best table in back near fireplace.
Lovely evening out - finally! From being greeted at the door to impeccable table service, to delicious food beautifully prepared - great dinner with friends. The prices were reasonable for the level of service we received!
My wife and I went to the Belvedere for her birthday. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and all with live music. Perfect evening.
Ordered the grilled Salmon, had difficulty finding the piece of Salmon- portions across the industry have understandably dropped post-Covid comeback. Service as always- phenomenal. Love the jazz session upstairs as always. COME BACK people, help our community restaurants get back on their feet if all must thrive and prosper!!
We loved our server Jimmy!! And the outside terrace was perfect.
Our server Lindsey was great as always and the food was delicious. We are so happy that the restaurant has opened for inside dining.
Came from out of town to celebrate wife's 70th birthday. The Belvedere Inn has been on my radar for quite some time but due to Covid, they were closed for a time. So glad they reopened and it was wonderful. I can't say enough about the folks working the front of the house. They were so nice. Our server, Lindsay, was wonderful.
Escargot, Roasted Beet Salad, Beef & Barley Soup, Lobster Tail with Signature Crab Cake, Veal Oscar, Carrot Cake, Flourless Chocolate Cake were all outstanding. The Belvedere Inn is housed in a mid 19th century building which lends itself to a warm and welcoming space. Just enough light, makes it even homier. Certainly, a go to place.
Our anniversary dinner was excellent and our server, Jimmy, provided outstanding service! Can't wait to go back for dinner again.
Excellent as Always
Weston was an excellent waiter and the food was phenomenal!
Waitstaff were very attentive (in a good way). Brittany did a great job of explaining the options and we really enjoyed the evening. I had short ribs and hubby had lobster special. Both were delicious. Drinks also excellent.
Great food. Service was slow.
Had a wonderful time with my husband. This was a first for both of us. The food was delicious and the waitress new her stuff. Will definitely return soon.
Live Smooth Jazz music while you eat your perfect dinner. Belvedere never disappoints
Had a great dinner at this downtown Lancaster spot. Not only do I recommend having dinner here but the upstairs bar is great as well. Great service, good ambiance!
This was our second time eating at the Belvedere Inn and it has become one of our go to restaurants when we visit Lancaster. Great food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere.
Food overall was pretty good. However our appetizers were initially served cold and had to be sent back. One of the entrees was over cooked. Our wine was not served when our appetizers arrived and we had to ask for it. Service left a lot to be desired.
The Belvedere is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Lancaster city. The food, service, and atmosphere is consistently outstanding.
The food was good and the waitress was nice. It just felt we were somewhat ignored as two other tables were seated before us and got their food much sooner than us. We waited over an hour for our entrees and we were just 2 people.
Belvedere Inn provided a wonderful experience for my wife and I.
Taste and see that Belvedere Inn is good😁
Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good:
The maître d’ was great we got there half an hour early. We were just going to go to the bar and have a drink and wait for our table. The bar was full the maître d’ ended up seating us Within five minutes. Our server acted like it was a bother to wait on us. When we ask about the jazz club upstairs she just said you need reservations and walked away. Later the maître d’ took us upstairs and made sure we had a place to sit. The food was good.
A great anniversary dinner with excellent service from Lindsay and the rest of their staff! We'll be back again for dinner.
Amazing place I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to relax and have a great time. Amazing food, I love it definitely coming back again.
We had a delicious meal outside in one of the glass enclosures. The Belvedere was great with their Covid precautions. The food was excellent!
We were seated promptly and our server was immediately pouring our water and asking for our drink and food orders. We were on the balcony and in one pf the 'greenhouse' shelters. It was great - we were dining in our own little world. The food was great, the drinks were great! I would recommend the Belvedere!
My family and I had a perfect dining experience. The front staff was very accommodating as we had an additional person. Jimmy our server was top notch and the food was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious!!! Thank you
Great choice for date night! Everything was great. Dim lights, Classic jazz, excellent service, great food and wine. 5 stars. Cant wait to go back. Thank you.
The service was fantastic and the ambience was as well. The food had it's good points and not so good points. The steamed mussels appetizer was excellent as was the lobster bisque. My entree was somewhat disappointing. I ordered a ribeye steak special. The potatoes were a but undercooked and the asparagus was a bit overcooked. The ribeye was just OK, cooked close to how it was ordered, but the steak was rather thin without much flavor or presence. My companion's stuffed lobster tail was better, but the sides were equally very average. I recommend the restaurant but be wise in your selections and don't expect too much from the cuisine.
Very nice evening at the Belvedere. I enjoyed my lavender wine cocktail and our appetizers (shrimp cocktail and lobster/crab dip) were delicious. The gespacho soup was very good. My entrée was excellent (surf n turf mac n cheese) We will definitely go back.
Wonderful date night. Went for their prix-fixe menu during restaurant week. While it was a fairly standard menu, I was very suprised just how well it was executed. Worth every penny. Good selection of wines by the glass, though I could have used a couple more red options. Will definitely return. Would love to book one of their outside plastic pods on the upstairs patio.
We were there for restaurant week. The food was very good and the service was outstanding! We look forward to it every year!
Great food and service. Wine was a bit expensive and had no chianti on the list.
only real negative was that we were seated on the second floor and the steps were dark and steep, my wife needed assistance.
Great food, service and ambience!
Always love sitting at the bar and enjoying the ambience and good food. Jamie is the best!
