I have been here twice now, both times on New Years Eve. I was here at dinner time so long before midnight. The food is delicious! Especially the chocolate bourbon creme brulee. Not a great place for younger kids. We had our 3 year old with us and there were a couple of "f bombs" dropped. But it is a bar so can't really complain. Perhaps I shouldn't bring my child to a bar;) The noise level wasn't bad either. My husband and I were able to carry on a conversation just fine. There are televisions around but we didn't have a great view where we were sitting.

Nice bar, well spaced out and lit, excellent service and fabulous food. Overall service could have been a little faster but the quality helped be to forget that!!!! Will go back when we return to the area.

Wonderful food, as usual. I don't think they were prepared for a large crowd tonight, though. Servers were doing their best, but things we still slow.

We enjoyed an unhurried Sunday afternoon catching up with a high school classmate and his wife. Sandwiches were quite good (although they initially included cheese on one sandwich that had been ordered without), the variety of local craft beers was impressive, and we didn't feel we had overstayed our welcome after more than 2 hours. Very comfortable spot - we will visit again when in the Huntsville area!

Our family of 5 was visiting Huntsville and needed a family-friendly restaurant for dinner. While Below the Radar is definitely a bar/pub atmosphere, they allow kids, and the clientele seemed upscale enough that you can bring your kids without worrying that the people at the table next to you will be dropping F-bombs or getting so hammered they start making passes at your teenage daughter. But I digress. We started our dining experience by ordering a few appetizers -- 3 flavors of wings, and some fried mac-n-cheese balls. Our server was definitely new. She had to return to our table (no exaggeration) 3 times to ask us what we had ordered, instead of just writing it down. We could also tell by the way she carried drinks (very carefully, only a few at a time, a little shaky) that she was not an experienced server. Her inability to get our appetizer order correct resulted in our wings (which were delicious--highly recommend the Sesame Ginger, or the Sriracha Lime!) arriving just a few short minutes before our entree. This is a big pet peeve of mine. When you order appetizers, any good establishment should give you sufficient time to enjoy the appetizer and pre-bus the table before delivering entrees. This was obviously the fault of our rookie server, but it was frustrating. Especially since the apps were so tasty, and we didn't have much time to enjoy them. On the plus side, the entrees were incredibly good. From the filet, to the lamb chops with polenta (which was heavenly), and the burger with goat cheese and fried green tomato, everything was great. The only exception was the risotto that came with my daughter's steak. It was bland, flavorless, and had the consistency of paste, which, as a cook, I know is a flawed risotto. Beyond this one culinary misfire, the rest of the food hit the mark. It was excellent. I'd definitely return here on our next trip to Huntsville. But I might request a more experienced server.

Had lunch with a coworker, it was our first time there . I would definitely recommend this place! Great food and loved the atmosphere. The staff was very nice as well.

Food was great! Service was good. A little slow but it was very crowded when we first arrived. Brunch menu was fanatastic! Highly recommend the polenta cake! Great beer selection as always. Had live music and although very talented was a bit loud for brunch but everyone seemed to enjoy it. Will definitely be back!
