Took my wife here for our 4th anniversary. It was good but not 81$ good. The appetizer was good. The carbonara I got was really good. Her pasta with a tomato sauce appeared to be a can of Campbells tomato soup thrown on top of her pasta. Had no flavor to it at all. My wife and I have yet to find an Italian restaurant that make a better tomato sauce than hers. Everytime we try a new pasta restaurant we end up going home and making our own pasta with tomato sauce. Pasta was not fresh. Seemed like it came from the box but for the price that's ok. The 18$ house wine carafe was OK. Bring your own wine world be better since I can get a good bottle of Argentine Malbec for 10$. I understand its business, but... anyway, the tiramisu was really good as well as our coffees. It was somewhat loud inside since we were expecting a quieter ambiance. But cant really complain about that. It's a restaurant. All in all it was good, just not 81 dollars good.
The cold appetizers were kept at room temp. Pretty sure the health dept needs to drop in for a visit. The potato soup tastes like cream of chicken... no potato! Asking to talk with a manager was a struggle. Would not recommend and will not return.
Cozy atmosphere conducive to conversation and relaxation. Food was very well prepared and authentically Italian. Great to find a place in Corpus without a loud soundtrack pulsing in the background. Good wine list but would love the option to have a cocktail.
This was a truly fantastic expirence for my wife and I on our anniversary. The food was amazing and the customer service was on point. We will definitely go back the next time we are in CC!
It was very beautiful. But the food was average. At least the main course. The wine and desert was great. But the main course was not that great.
Delightful little restaurant with better than average food. Service could be more polished.
The atmosphere was quiet & nice that's about where it stops. Had Bellinos in rockport food was much better and more selection. Went during happy hour had to ask about the specials since we were unfamiliar with them. We got the carabonara, shrimp alfredo & Veal parmesan appetizer of calamari. All the sauces were thick and gloppy needed more pasta water to thin out. We were given chicken instead of shrimp which was dry and tasteless. When we received the shrimp it was tasty and cooked well. The calamari was cooked beautifully but had no flavor except for the sauce. House wine was decent. For the price was disappointed in the flavor & execution of dishes. Wish the food was better the ambience was so nice.
Very disappointing experience, from the starter tomato « soup ?» (commercial store-bought bad pasta sauce) to the almost insipid pasta and finishing with an awful instant-like tasting « expresso coffee ». Surprising because they have good reviews (or unlucky, or chef has changed??), but that was unfortunately the reality of our dinner.
Very quaint restaurant, typical Sicilian cuisine. Had the carbonara and it was pretty good. The house Chianti, much like every traditional and authentic Italian restaurant was a perfect choice. Courteous staff. Will go back to it next time in Corpus Christi.
I had reservation for 9 to 10 people and end up having almost 15 people. The staff was great!!! Very accommodating & seated us all together. The food was prompt, hot and delicious. Everyone had a great time with delicious food. I'm from Chicago so I appreciate good Italian food and this is one of the best restaurants around. Thank you for a great time! Adrienne Tyler
Enjoyed the food. Our waitress was courteous and attentive and helpful when one of my party needed help ordering. It is small and quiet which is always a big plus.
The food was awesome. We had the special for Mother’s Day along with some of the regular menu items. We had the lasagna and the angel hair pasta with evoo and added shrimp. Everything we got tasted great. The fact it was Mother’s Day and we needed to add to our number going we had no problem. The waitress was very accommodating and took care of us. We will definitely go back.
Love this little neighborhood restaurant!
Disappointing! Came to celebrate a birthday that was never acknowledged. Food was overpriced & tasteless. Won’t be back.
Thursday Evening Farm(or Sea) to Table Menu was scrumptious! A friend and I came down from San Antonio specifically to check out the "local" menu and were not disappointed by the red drum and local vegetables. I only hope that the local menu will expand to more days of the week and to include more options from local farmers/ranchers!
The restaurant was fairly busy on a Thursday evening in Corpus Christi and we had excellent attention from our waitress, Kim. The inside is cute and strung with cafe lighting to add a lovely ambiance. Definitely recommend.
The food was great, the staff was amazing! We didn't appreciate the stuffy patrons that made their opinions of us loud and clear to be heard in the small bistro.
If you love Italian food, Bellino's is the place to go! Every Thursday they serve a four-course Farm to Table Dinner that is incredible. The food, the Chef, the staff are all outstanding.
Excellent! Very authentic Sicilian/Italian food choices. Felt like I was back I Catania eating at a local restaurant. Will be back again soon.
Everything was great!
One the the better talian restaurants you can dine in Corpus. Decent food and nice ambience
No wait. Food and wine were excellent. Best Italian restaurant in Corpus Christi.
The Thursday night Farm to Table tasting menu with wine pairing is one of the best meals I have had in Corpus Christi. Skip the chain restaurants and you will fall in love with Bellino's authentic Italian cuisine. We will be back many, many, more times!
I had never been to Bellino's before. I had read the reviews and wanted to try it out. It had a cozy atmosphere, great service, and food was very good. My kids even ate, and they are picky eaters. We were the only people with kids who where there at the time, but felt very comfortable and had a great time. We will definitely be back!
I really, really liked the mellow music. The decor is pleasant. The tables functional.
The bread was lucious. Bellino's had a special menu for New Year's Eve, and amazingly, it was priced similarly to the normal menu, with a bit of jazzing up. Hubby had the regular Italian salad, with chicken and I had a marvelous special of homemade-tasting pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil. Since neither special dessert appealed to me enough, we skipped the sweet. It was only as we wrote the tip that I realized they offered to another table the regular dessert menu that night too. Ah well, we had had so very many desserts this trip, we needed to miss more than just this one. However, the entrees were so wonderful that maybe we missed something delicious.
The service, considering there were very few customers that early was too inept. They evidently keep to their designated area, instead of helping each other give the best service to their patrons.
I've been visiting Corpus Christi twice a year for the past several years and had yet to find an Italian restaurant. By chance my niece and I overheard a conversation about such a place and I had to ask. Best decision ever. It turned out to be the owner and his wife selecting gelato to add to their menu. Bellino's is authentic Italian and reminded me of my favorite place at home. Atmosphere was quaint and staff was very friendly. The energy recognized my niece and I on his rounds through the dining room. At the end of our meal he sent gelato to our table before it was on the menu. It was very much appreciated. I can't wait fir my next visit to go again. Buon appetito
My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at Bellino's. We wanted the night to be special. We were not disappointed. The staff, the ambiance, the food and the service was top notch.
Server was overwhelmed but was a busy night, she mixed up our order but fixed it quickly
Great Italian food. Best Veal I’ve ever had. The waitstaff is excellent. We will definitely be back.
Very tasteful establishment. The food and service were wonderful. It is a little small so reservations may be a good decision.
It was amazing.
The service and food are outstanding. Even though it's a small place, it's quaint and romantic unless there is a loud customer nearby. We like the Italian music, the menu options and the service. It's a nice place for a romantic dinner or quiet business dinner.
Can you say fabulous? It clearly is a step above any Italian restaurant in town. We got there based on a tip & Open Table. Also, a nice wine selection.
Bellino's is a great neighborhood find. We just moved to this area and found them in October. Since then, we have been there several times and will certainly go back again. The cappelini and carbonaro are especially good and they serve warm bread and olive oil for dipping.
The food has tremendous flavor, much more robust than your average fair. Price is about what you expect, not an exceptional value in terms of value ratio, but good for a date night or special occasion.
Our food was delicious and we had great service. The food is consistently good and the service is also consistently good. A small but nice bar area. Nice selection of wine. Loved the cheese plate appetizer. I had the fish special which was drum with a ground almond crust and it was fantastic--perfect size and nicely flavored with lemon. Nice fresh crunchy salad. I would say this place is geared more for adults than children which was just what we were looking for.
