Bellinis Ratings and Reviews
So, this was for my girlfriends birthday, she ordered the crab and when it was delivered, the eggs were not poached, they were very over cooked. When we complained about it, instead of offering to remake the meal they took her eggs back and discounted the meal $4. She was left with cold crab, a piece of cold toast and potatoes. No sauce, no eggs no good! The waitress disappeared for long periods of time, we were not happy and not happy about paying for a meal she was not able to eat. Won’t be back and won’t recommend
Great atmosphere. Very slow the Saturday evening we went. So it was quiet. Service was great. Complimentary bread was yummy. Small portions. Trout special stuffed with crab was delicious. Risotto and spinach were not very flavorful. Good wine selection at different price points. We got a bottle for $28 and it was a great blend.
We were celebrating our 49th anniversary. We have been frequent satisfied visitors of Bellini's and were definitely not disappointed this time. The food was outstanding. The wine we wanted was not available, but the server suggested a very nice alternative.
Adequate food with wonderful service. Overly conservative on the seasoning and flavor of the food. It's pretty much Olive Garden with a bar without salt. If you just know Oklahoma Italian it's fine. If you've ever been out of the Midwest, don't have expectations.
We had our first date here so we decided to go here to have brunch for our 6 year wedding anniversary. When I called to make reservations, I asked if they did anything special for anniversaries. The lady's response was very rude as If I was asking for something free. She said NO! What are you wanting? I just said, never mind.
The restaurant is in need of major renovation. The new owner had let a lot of regular maintenance go by unattended. The outdoor are we sat in was filthy and needs a lot of maintenance, stain on the wood, concrete cleaned, bushes trimmed, weeds plucked, etc. We used to love this place, hopefully they can bring it back to how it used to be.
We met another couple at Bellini's for dinner. We had not been for quite some time. We left wondering why we had not been back as the food was excellent, service excellent and the noise level was perfect. We were able to enjoy a great dinner and felt no rush to leave from anyone.
We will be back soon. If you have't been lately, go. You won't regret it.
We selected Bellini's based on the menu posted through Open Table. It is not the same, none of our favorites were on the menu anymore. Advice- call the restaurant first. Service was slow & inefficient, we had to ask for additional drinks, specials, and dessert. We won't be making the drive here in the future.
As most of the other reviews have stated, the service could be kicked up a notch or two. I don't think it was the fault of the wait staff. They weren't terribly busy, but there just weren't enough people to handle the patronage that was there. We waited nearly 5 minutes at the front desk before anyone even showed up to seat us. After that, it wasn't too bad. We did get menus and drinks promptly. We received our food in a fair amount of time, but we weren't in a big hurry, so that wasn't a problem. The food was excellent, so all in all the whole thing was pretty good. Back in my college days, I waited tables, and I know how difficult it can be when someone does not show up for their shift at peak times. Our server was very good.
Usually get the best food and the best service here. Its been going down hill. Definitely service wasn't up to par. Waited 15min for server, then anither 15 for drinks. Had to ask for the muffins thats are regularly given when you sit down and the plate was dirty. Didnt see the server again for 20 more minutes. I'm certainly changing my brunch location to somewhere else.
Even though we did get a new waiter who knew very little, he tried very hard, never got flustered and always found out what he didn't know, so I still rated the service a 5 because the effort and positive/right attitude was there. The new nenu is limited and leaves much to be desired, but what they do have was great tasting.
Food was very good. Very disappointed in my husbands drink. I had the Bellini. It was good and price ok but ny husband had a vodka martini and by the time they added all the charges it was $14. We kidded with the server that they really needed to use a smaller glass if that was all the vodka they were serving. The glass was barely half full. He was charged $8 for calling the vodka and another $3 for "up" and then another $3 for martini. We have never had any restaurant do that. We may go back for the food but we won't have drinks again.
This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I would like to have reviewed the food but we never got waited on. We arrived @ 10 mins early for our 8 pm reservation. My friend arrived first and could not find a hostess. Someone did arrive to take us to our patio table. The person who seated us (I think it was another waiter) showed us the table then pretty much threw the menus on the table and walked off. No "your server will be right over" or anything. We sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. After @ 10 minutes, I asked the server who was attending to the table nearest us who had this table. She said she would be right back (she did not). After 15 minutes without even a "hello", I went inside and found some waiters and a manager(I think) and told them we had not had any service after 15 minutes of sitting there and the manager type person said she would take care of it. I guess "taking care of it" meant to continue ignoring us. The only contact we had from a server was the waitress who said she would be right back, came over and asked if she could take the salt and pepper off our table to give to her table she had just served food to. After over 20 minutes of sitting there invisible, we left. No one even said anything to us on the way out. DO NOT GO HERE. They used be very busy years ago. I see why they are not any more.
Made reservations via open table for a Saturday night dinner (a party of four). No host or hostess greeted us. Half of our party got there about 10 minutes ahead of us and when a host finally appeared we asked for our parties location and they told me just to look around. Don't want to sound like a prude but I expected better based on how things have gone the many times we've eaten at this place. After sitting about 10 minutes waiting on a wait person to take a drink order, I finally got up and sought help.
I'm guessing the restaurant was about 20 percent full, so the wait staff surely wasn't rushed. If the place had been full (it was 7 pm on a Saturday night), it would have been even more opportunity for poor service.
A young lady came by later to ask how things were but she didn't seem to care about my complaints of dissatisfaction with the service. The place has slipped unfortunately.
One more thing...My brother and sister in law drove about 100 miles to meet us in the city for dinner and she left her sun glasses. The told her they had them but refused to mail them to her. We didn't have a huge tab, but it was well over $200. Just sort of a bad deal all the way around.
This was our first visit to Bellini's since we recently moved into the neighborhood. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food and service were excellent. We will definitely return for more special dinners!
We love Bellini's! It is one of the few places in this City where you can have a quiet conversation and the menu doesn't break your bank account. The service is very good - friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. All four of us had different dishes - honey roasted pecan salad, veal piccata, pollo pesto tortellini, and capellini frutti de mare. Everyone said their's was excellent. I particularly like the salad (with chicken) and have been having it for years at Bellini's. It is more than enough as an entrée. Looking out at the lake is especially relaxing and pretty. Another plus - if the weather is bad, you can leave your house, park, and enter the restaurant without ever going outside!
My party of 5 had to wait 30 minutes to even receive menus. We received salads after we had been there an hour and a half. When the enrtees came out they were served one or two at a time & were cold. One person sent his lasagne back to be reheated but it came back still cold. I called to speak to the manager this afternoon and left my name & phone number but my call was not returned. I will never go back & cannot recommend this restaurant.
Unfortunately we were not treated well. From unwillingness to accommodate our reason for visiting, patio seating, to our waiter that was nowhere to be found. The food was good, no complaints there but upon expressing our concerns to the manager, we were given an 'oh well' attitude. They sat several other tables on the patio after we were seated inside so it was a very frustrating dinner while trying to treat my wife to a beautiful Mother's Day dinner. Bummer.
Visited Bellinis for the first time in many years. The new owners have done a great job adding specials and some new items, while retaining almost the entire previous menu.
We highly recommend the Crab appetizer, the house salad ( a light Caesar) and the pasta. The table next to us had a brick oven pizza that looked and smelled outstanding.
Although an older building, the view of the pond and the geese is quite nice, and the ambiance is a cross between an old school New York steakhouse, and an Italian Bistro.
Absolutely outstanding meal. I have not been to Bellini's in a few years and realize that it was a mistake. Outstanding chicken parmesan, excellent salad and super burata. I would highly recommend this place to any fine dinner in OKC.
Food was not good. Tasted like the food sat under a hot light for 30 minutes. over cooked. The Lasagna hard as a rock! The other entry was too spicy you could barley eat called the Greico. For the price there are much better places to get good Italian food......... but not Belinis.
Sunday brunch. The food, presentation and service were all outstanding, as it routinely is at Bellini's. My only concern is that the host/hostess seats customers in clusters, rather than spacing them throughout the area of the restaurant. While this is not a concern around well-mannered adults, toward the end of our meal the host/hostess seated a couple with two young children who needed every thought to be heard, loudly, directly behind us. This was disruptive within the entire area and perhaps could have been handled differently by a more isolated seating placement. Nonetheless the quality of the food and service was outstanding.
It was a Saturday night and the service was very understaffed. We waited 15 minutes just to get the first visit from our waitress and that was only after we went to go find a wine list. She explained how she was serving those on the patio and those on in the dining area as well. The condiments on the table were greasy and the place seemed a bit dingy. We left late and on our way out could smell cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen area. This used to be a classy place to go. The food is not bad but for these prices they'll be out of business soon.
It's a nice location with a great patio. The waiting staff was nice but not organized. We had no waiter assigned and waited for 10 minutes until someone asked us if we had been helped and was surprised to hear we hadn't. Such things happen, however the food was the real deal breaker. It's hard to take an Italian restaurant seriously when it serves overcooked, water-soaked pasta. The lettuce in the free salad that comes with any entree wasn't fresh. Inauthentic, overpriced food. We will not go back.
So disappointed. This is our place to splurge for a quiet, romantic dinner, special dinner. Imagine my shock when the dining room now has two big screen tvs and another big screen over the bar. Now it's just another sports bar but far more expensive and it's just not that great. The food was so so at best and the online menu doesn't match the restaurant menu. My favorite dish is still on the online menu but not on the restaurant menu. This used to be a special, quiet, romantic place. Not anymore. I won't be back.
