I have been dining at Bellini Grill for years ... it's one of my favorite "go to" restaurants in center city. The food is always incredible, the service is fantastic and it's a nice, classy place to dine. In addition, they offer Italian dishes for the vegetarian, the meat eater and the pasta lover ... so everyone in the group is Happy! I can't wait to go back.
The food was delicious and fresh and homemade. Our drinks were perfect. The service was outstanding. I will be back. Bellini Grill is a quaint well appointed restaurant that has a nice intimate feel to it.
Very nice server; good food, diverse crowd, reasonable prices for the area, will return
Good service. Interesting specials.
Tasty cocktails. Timely service for before the theater.
The only real negative about Bellini Grill is that the space is small and so the seating is tight, sometimes bordering on cramped. The food, as usual, was excellent, and the service was great. Jimi was there, which always seems to bring things up a notch.
It was a warm setting. I had a perfectly made Negroni. Loved the tender, lemony chicken Bellini. A shared first course of grilled calamari was served on lightly dressed greens and was cooked just right.
The food was very good as was the atmosphere. The people working were friendly and accommodating!
The restaurant was excellent! Our server was quick and we did a prix fixe meal, with 3 courses. The courses were well timed and delicious! The prix fixe was not advertised in the restaurant but was mentioned on their website. It was well portioned for an individual serving.
It was a fabulous way to spend my 27th birthday dinner! They were so attentive to a big group and the food was amazing.
Great service and wonderful food! Very accommodating to guests with dietary restrictions
Our first meal there! Went with my grown daughter. We enjoyed all that we ordered. We had a nearby concert at 8:00 pm, and Bellini’s fine service helped us to be on the street with a perfect amount of time to get to our seats.
Great restaurant, second time dining here. Staff is always pleasant and attentive. There are large enough tables for the family and small ones for date night. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli.
Wine was very good as was the Caesar salad. Pollo Bellini was excellent. The chicken was perfectly prepared. Anthony did a great job.
Very nice cozy restaurant.
Food was very good and service was outstanding.
This particular night we had Anthony as our server and was attention to detail and very pleasant. He made sure that the allergy diner ( Celiac ) was taken care of with no worries.
Highly recommended and close to the theater district.
I always have a good experience when I come here. The food is always delicious as well as the service. It's a nice little quaint Italian restaurant. I had the chicken with spinach and a lemon sauce with mushrooms. I will definitely go back again.
As always, dining at Bellini's was a treat. Great food and service, friendly atmosphere, and not pretentious. Waiter was very good and friendly and other service was also. A nice taste of Italy with accommodating atmosphere.
Great for pre-theatre. The service was prompt but we didn't feel rushed. We can't wait to go back to Bellini Grill to try more items from their extensive menu.
Great food, good atmosphere, fun dinner.
We attend a special birthday party on a night when the weather was terrible. However, upon host and servers made us feel very comfortable. The server was punctual and not overbearing yet attentive. The appetizers and food were excellent and the service for the entire evening was great. We have been to Bellini now several times and not disappointed at all. We will go back. ENJOY!
A favorite of ours....There are lots of great restaurants to choose from in Philadelphia, but we return to Bellini's over and over. It's a convenient walking distance to most of the places we go on an evening in town and many of our friends also dine there pre-concert, theatre, etc. We love the Italian wines, the delicious Italian food and coffee. Hope to see you there!
We go to Bellini frequently during the theater season and always enjoy our meal and service.
Attractive small Italian with reasonable menu and some interesting variations on usual Italian dishes.
Overall food was very good and service was also very good. Good for business lunch as it is very quiet and quick.
We have eaten at Bellini Grill a numbee of times, and were always well satisfied. They were very accommodating when our group added 2 more people at the last minute. Our waitress was extremely helpful and attentitive. However, I am disappointed that BYOB is no longer an option (byob with a hefty fee p/p), although there is a bar. I was also disappointed that most entrees do not include any vegetables at all. The number of a la carte add ons significantly raised the bill from well priced to overpriced.
Another excellent meal. You never disappoint.
Consistently excellent food and friendly, helpful owner and staff. We have been returning here regularly for over 10 years (since they opened).
Six of us went on a Friday night and it was a fun, lively atmosphere. It was a little loud for easy conversation. There were a few large parties which may have been the reason for just about average service. The food was delicious, everyone seemed very happy with their choices. The eggplant parm was fabulous but it was served alone on a plate. I think it could have come with some accompaniment, even just a little garnish would have improved the look of the plate. We all agreed we would definitely come back again before our dance series subscription.
Very pleasant experience, good food and service. Perfect for pre theater.
Excellent. We really like this restaurant and it is convenient to Broad Street venues
Excellent. Food was delicious - our friends were impressed.
Service was great - thank you, Chris, for being so accommodating.
We will be back soon. Bravo!
Mediocre food, at best.
Items not properly explained, about a 180 degree off in one case.
Poor filleting skills table side. Horrendous. Better served to do yourself.
Aggressive, demeaning on the verge of abusive management.
Bartender and server were pleasant, wine was good, but even with that, if there was a 1/2 star it'd be a stretch to give it that.
(almost 200 reservations in open table with no reviews, but this was so bad had to leave one)
Amazing food wine and dessert! The service was great and we will definitely be going back often! The price of everything was very reasonable too.
Great food and ambience was perfect. I highly recommend the Manhattan. Just an FYI--if you order the whole fish--make sure to tell them not to filet it if that's how you like it. Overall, the service and food were excellent. Would definitely go back.
Bellini Grill is one of our favorite, regular restaurants in Center City, perfect for pre-theatre, or later in the evening. Solid food, comfortable atmosphere, great staff and owner!
Lasagna was delicious and also the tiramisu. Always enjoy dinner at Bellini
It had been a few years since we were last here. Lots of changes since then like the bar. The website was not encouraging though as I was unable to get a lot of information from it; difficult to navigate. We got the small antipasti which could have been alittle bigger for the price. But it did a good job of preparing us for our main course. I got the crab ravioli which were had a very light dough but plenty of crab. However there seemed to be some communication issues between my husband and our server. My husband asked for the duck but when it arrived it was not what he expected. Thinking he was getting a roast breast of duck, he received the duck Ragu with fettuccine. My husband ended up enjoying it very much.
After taking our orders though, our server seemed to either ignore us or suddenly became the FT bartender and never returned to our table. Other servers and possibly the owners took care of us the rest of the evening.
As we are subscribers to the Philly Pops we also received a discount on our meal.
Total disappointment. We waited an hour and 20 minutes from when we arrived to get our food. We told our server that we had an hour and a half before we had to leave for a concert, and he said it would be no problem. I did not expect to have to scarf down my meal in 10 minutes. When the table next to us got their food before us, and had ordered the food well after us, I went to the server and demanded to know why. He said he would go to the kitchen and check on our food. The food was also disappointing. There was no flavor in any dish, and after being told the pasta was all homemade, I had penne that tasted like it came out of a box. With all the choices of Italian restaurants within a couple of blocks, I don’t know how Bellini is still in business. We will not be back.
The service was extremely attentive without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and applies creative twists to classic fare. And the food is superb. There wasn't a single dish in our three course meal for five people that wasn't described by the diners as excellent.
The Bellini Grill is a real find. Highly recommended.
Came her after a concert and they were still serving the Philly City Center Week menu, so was excited to try it. Service was excellent, enjoyed the ambiance especially as I was dining alone. A tad noisy if you want conversation, but still nice. Food was filling, tho my steak had alot of grisel, I would still try it again. Loved the Peach Bellini, complete with a peach!
