Nice atmosphere and cozy. Food was delicious and servers were wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!
The waiter charged us for salads even though they were included with the lunch special. I had to point it out so he could take the charge off the bill. This also happened once before!
This is elevated Italian cuisine. Our beet and frisée salads were very creative, high quality, and delicious. My companions loved the veal parm. I can’t eat meat shellfish or seafood. I would have loved the featured snapper served plain, but restaurants today jack up their specials prices by loading them up with ingredients I can’t eat. Oh well, it’s plain ho hum salmon off the menu. Served with very limp green beans, but for $8 I had a beautiful side of veggies. The salad and the veggies were my heroes. Perfect.
We waited for an extra 30 mins past our reservation time because it was packed and it seemed like nobody was leaving anytime soon, the wait staff was great though and their patience must be from the heavens because it was seriously packed in there , over all though my girlfriend and I had an awesome experience the food was great wine was great, had an awesome time. Thank you for everything.
Filet mignon carpaccio and the veal margarita were amazing! Don’t miss out on the espresso martinis!
Very noisy. The service was ok. Tables were packed beyond logic but it was Valentine day
I wasn’t impressed with the Gelato.
A spectacular place to dine on Valentine's Day!
this was our first time and thought the atmosphere and décor were great. we arrived a little late but did call ahead to let them know and we were seated right away after arrival. We enjoyed the food and wine, the service was on point and very friendly. Only one issue that I had was the website said to park in the garage around the corner and they would validate, but when I arrived I found that they did not accept trucks in that lot so maybe that should be on the website. Overall we had a great experience and will be coming back.
Good food but expensive
We always love going to Bellini Grill! Always good food and terrific service.
I have never had a bad meal at Bellini. The service staff was prompt and attentive. Although I ordered from the main menu, I could have ordered any one of the specials.
We enjoyed our dinner at Bellini and look forward to our next dinner there.
Great meal and service. Noise level was high.
Employees were all super friendly and the food was delicious! We will definitely be recommending Bellini Grill to our friends!
while the staff and atmosphere was lovely, the food was not good. Dry crumbly off the shelf bread. The meals lacked flavor other than excessive salt. The balsamic reduction was given to us in a sticky bottle and we had no separate dish to pour it in for dipping the subpar bread. my rosemary potatoes had no rosemary. the crème brulee was great though. They need a classically trained chef to come in and revamp all their dishes. My order was clearly something that was sitting around and was reheated in possibly a microwave, it was so dry.
One of our go-to places for a pre-theatre or concert dinner. Excellent food, maybe a little pricey, good service, very dependable. Nightly specials are usually very good, sometimes somewhat higher priced than other menu items. Love the grilled calamari--yummy, nice sized portion, too.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. A very enjoyable experience!
An out of town visit brought me serendipitously to this restaurant. I had no expectations. Even though the restaurant had a number of large parties I was impressed by the team effort of the employees making sure that all the customers were attended to in a professional manner. The food was great. A salad that we were sharing was split for us and our main dishes were excellent. I had the duck rage and it was excellent. I wish I lived closer to this find
Very professional staff that worked as a team. Food was very
Even though it was restaurant week and it was very busy, the staff took very good care of us, not rushing and was always available to help when asked. Definitely will be returning.
Very tight space. The food was good but not amazing compared to other Italian restaurants in the Philadelphia area.
The chef at Bellini overdoes everything. My guest ordered fish with vegetables. The fish was literally buried in vegetables which my friend had to shovel off to reach the fish. My bolognese pasta was fair.
The service was very slow.
The waiter was awesome, friendly, etc. and the food was great! A lot of fun!
Restaurant Week food was awesome. Each course was better than the prior. And all were good. Appetizers, First and Second plates - can’t go wrong. I think we had a newbie though - he forgot to give the drink order to the bar, so had a re-do. Late on taking our dinner order. I don’t blame him - don’t really think he had the right training, or they may have been short people. I can overlook all of that because the food was so good. Make it a stop if you like great Italian.
Service was wonderful and food delicious. It was Restaurant Week, and sometimes the meals are not the best representation of the restaurant's normal menu. Not the case here. The food was delicous and freshly prepared.
Bellini Grill was amazing! The decor is beautiful, there is so much nice artwork including a painted ceiling. The host greeted us and even offered to take our coats, free of charge. The food was delicious! I went with 3 other people and we all ordered different things and shared and I can honestly say that it was all delicious. They also make their own vinaigrette and while I'm not normally a big vinaigrette fan, I could probably put it on everything because it was so good. The waiter was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions from beginning to the end. He also joked around a lot and made us feel like we were right at home. The rest of the staff that we encountered was extremely friendly as well and gave us great recommendations when we asked. I would highly recommend Bellini Grill and am planning on going back again in the near future.
The table was oily. Our waiter was extremely rude and continued to bring the wrong order out and then argued with us that that was the item we ordered. There was a zero percent chance that we ordered those dishes because he would bring meat dishes to the vegetarians at our table. I am ok with if he missed heard but the fact that he argued with us is what upset us. He also continued to bring over more bottles of sparkling water without us asking or ordering it and then it was a surprise when we saw the bill for 3 bottles instead of the one we thought we had used. Either this waiter was extremely unprofessional or the establishment is struggling because I was unhappy with the service that we received. I won’t be dining here again.
Bellini’s is our go to luncheon spot in town. Service is impeccable, food is delicious and it is quiet enough to talk to your companion.
Visited during Restaurant Week. I liked that we had more than one choice for each course. We will visit again.
We made a reservation through open table when the restaurant was allegedly closed
Bellini Grill is by far and away my most favorite Italian restaurant in Philadelphia. Jimmy Daku is a superb owner, chef and manager. It is always fun to arrive and engage with him - warm, friendly and charming. He and his team deliver consistently high quality and creative and delicious dishes no matter what the day or night of the week. The wine list has gotten a bit more pricey than in the past, but its selections are far ranging and of excellent quality. There are very few places that offer fresh home-made regular, whole-wheat and gluten-free pasta, prepared daily. Having the combination of Jimmy and Franchesco Parmisciano, Bellini's Executive Chef, to serve your dining pleasures is indeed a real treat.
This was a wonderful dinner with friends. The menu selection, food, and service were excellent. We will definitely return for future meals.
The food was delicious. Service was great.
Great food! Amazing servers!
