Very nice place. Ni e atmosphere. Has a piano player. We'll be back again.
Great service, delicious food, awesome ambiance, definitely a must go!
Truly extraordinary food ... much better than the menu describes/represents. Everything the kitchen produced was truly fantastic.
We liked it. My wife and I enjoyed the food and the ambiance at Bellamy’s. Her ribeye steak and my shirt rips were well prepared and tasty. My beefeater martini was excellent. She didn’t like her sapphire gimlet however. All and all we’ll go back next time we’re at the California art center. The service was excellent too by the way.
Bellamy's was the perfect place to celebrate my sister's birthday with my family. Their dishes were superb, their service was impeccable and the ambience was magical. We look forward to returning there for our next family celebration.
Excellent service, food, atmosphere, and music. Loved that the dishes are made fresh and from scratch by the chef. Very accommodating to vegetarians.
The party of 5 that celebrated my son’s 36th birthday was wonderful. We all enjoyed the food and our waiter was faultless. The live piano music in the background was also enjoyable. We have been here before and will return again. The desserts were especially enjoyable!
Perfect, especially if going to art center. Food excellent. Had trout & couscous. Delicious
Great food, service, ambiance. We will definitely be back.
Great local upscale dinner spot with a piano bar and great food. Our waiter Brian was gracious, knowledgeable and combined just the right amount of formality and relaxed friendliness. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back often.
We took the Sprinter from Oceanside for a birthday adventure. The walk to Bellamy's took just a few minutes, and we were graciously met by the hostess who immediately acknowledged the birthday. Our young female server was delightful, and went out of her way to make it a special occasion. The food was wonderful, and I especially enjoyed the scallops. The four stars were simply because I would have liked to find a Malbec on the wine list, but overall it was a top-notch experience!
The staff is super nice and attentive. The bar is fun and was a highlight for us. The food was ok. It’s a bit more of an expensive place but the atmosphere is lovely.
Amazing food and amazing service. Already looking forward to my next trip back
Great Food, Great Service, Nice piano music
a bit pricey on drinks.
This has been one of my mom's favorites and has now become one of my favorites as well. I am always pleased with the variety of menu choices and the outstanding quality of the food and service. The live piano music contributes to the restaurant's personality. We will certainly be back and won't wait so long next time.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and treated like VIP's! EV welcomed us with a great smile and introduced us to Nick at the bar. Nick was very knowledgeable and a true ambassador for Bellamy's. We enjoyed a drink at the bar and then met our server Brian. Again, true ambassador for Bellamy's and had wonderful explanations for items we inquired about. This was a surprise date night that my husband planned and our first time enjoying Bellamy's. The Service, Staff, Ambiance and Food were wonderful! We will definitely return and bring friends!
We go at least a few times a month, love it here! The manager, Alex, is always so accomodating. The service is absolutely amazing! Brian is an excellent server. The food is always perfect, and Nick always makes exquisite drinks...works of art. But we love all the employees there!
I don't know why it took us so long, but I'm glad we made the decision to celebrate our anniversary at Bellamy's. This is right up our alley for special occasion cuisine. I had the fillet special and my husband had the jidori chicken. The appetizer was the tapenade. Everything was very fresh and prepared to perfection. It was just the right amount of food, too. More importantly, it was quiet with mellow piano music. Hard to find these days. No regrets. We will definitely return.
My martini was served in a Champagne glass, not a martini glass. Thus, after my martini was poured into the proper glass, the drink was not as chilled as it should have been.
First course went well; the mussels were fabulous. But apparently the "wrong button" was pushed so I received something other than the Sea Bass "special" that I ordered. When the situation was corrected, the temperature of my husband's steak was okay, but everything else on his plate was cold.
My sea bass was excellent. If the food was not SO good at Bellamy's, I would never go there again! The piano is always too loud and the overall ambiance is outdated.
Food was delicious, service was good, ambiance was terrific. Definitely will visit again.
We were in a hurry to make it to a show and our waiter did a fantastic job bringing out the food in a timely manner. The food was outstanding - from the bread to the main courses to the dessert. None of us had been to Bellamy's before and we all agreed it was a great find! Our party especially enjoyed the sea bass, seafood paella, scallops, mushroom ravioli appetizer, and chocolate mousse/cake dessert. Delicious!
I had an amazing Barramundi catch of the day! Fresh, cooked perfectly with crispy skin. In season fresh fruit Margaritas by Nick are awesome, but be careful can't stop at one. Also new wine list.
The corn soup was outstanding. Never wanted it to end.
A wonderful experience! We all were impressed and very satisfied with our meals.
Wonderful mid-week dinner with a group of seven. Entrees were well prepared and visually appealing. Everyone enjoyed the evening!
I ordered one of my favorites, the mussels, yummy! The broth is always so delicious. For the main course I had the shrimp pasta, portion was large so I didn't have to make dinner. Lunch service was great from Jeff.
Tried this place out for lunch and enjoyed the meal. Chicken was very well cooked and had a nice sauce to it. Also tried the mushroom ravioli appetizer which I highly recommend. Oh and the bread and butter was a nice touch!
The food was just perfect and the service was wonderful. It’s nice to have such an upscale restaurant in Escondido.
I enjoyed the seafood Crepe, which I had eaten at Bellamy's before. It was delicious and i have recommended it to other people. The French Fries are to die for, also. Wonderful luncheon.
My wife and I totally enjoyed our dining experience from the attentive service, to great food and drinks.
We will definitely return to experience Bellamy's again. If you are looking for an intimate, romantic and pleasurable experience, we highly recommend Bellamy's.
Delicious. Tried the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was very delicious, a wonderulr experience.
Everything was exceptional, food was delicious, live piano was very enjoyable, and the service was outstanding! Highly recommended.
Enjoyed the potato leek soup and catch of the day, which was Maui Maui. I can recommend the mushroom ravioli and salmon Caesar salad. Service provided by Jeff is always spot on. I often go to Bellamy's for happy hour for specialty drinks made by Nick.
The food has always been good. The portions are a fair size for the price. My wife likes that they have a live piano player.
First time dining at Bellamy's and had a great dining experience. The salmon and the sea bass were excellent! We will return for sure.
Service was excellent. Appetizers were delicious. Dessert was sensational. Main dish-Paella was too salty though.
It was a great choice to take my wife to Bellamy's for her Birthday. Brian was our waiter and he was super knowledgeable and also a lot of fun. We enjoyed both Mahimahi and a New York strip steak.
The manager, bartender and the girl assisting Brian were very pleasant. The bartender actually made my wife an exotic Gin and Tonic using frozen blueberry icecubes. She loved it. We will certainly go back. They also had a live piano. Great time
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was outstanding. We had the mushroom ravioli, split a caesar salad (excellent caesar dressing), my wife had the rib eye steak, I had the seafood paella, which they were able to delete the shell fish and add shrimp. For dessert we had the raspberry sorbet. The live music (piano) was a wonderful selection that was well played. A gem for Escondido.
Delicious food, excellent service, pleasant ambiance - the only thing missing is the ocean view. But then the food would cost a lot more. So we are happy to forego the view and be able to enjoy such wonderful food at a reasonable price. And there's a a nice selection of wine and beer, too.
