   Service was excellent. Food was good but portions were small and very expensive. The veal scallopini that I ordered had three very small slices of veal that were hidden under an over abundance of mushrooms. I have to say, the dish was mostly mushrooms! I had to search for the three very small slices of veal underneath. Side dish of pasta was nothing special....barely adequate. Side dinner caesar salad was the best part of the meal. A couple cannot have dinner there now for less than $100, and if you tip 20%.....$120.

   We love this place. The food service and the atmosphere are outstanding. We try to go there at least once a week! Five star ⭐️ place for certain!

   Delicious meal with friends. Service was excellent. Great ambiance. Ownership there to assure a great experience. I would highly recommend.

   Great addition to the Highwood dining scene. Attentive service and excellent food. The cioppino features a rich, hearty tomato sauce with perfectly cooked seafood, delivering bold, satisfying flavors. The halibut special is equally impressive, served in a buttery sauce that complements the flaky fish beautifully. To top it off, the tiramisu is authentic and decadent, with just the right balance of creamy mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers. A fantastic spot for authentic Italian flavors and exceptional dishes! My only criticism was the choice of music. They were playing Coldplay the entire evening, and although I like Coldplay, it didn't fit the style or vibe of the restaurant.

   First time and we enjoyed it very much! Our waiter was exceptional, the food was delicious! The room is very loud fyi.

   I had the fish special, and I completely cleaned my plate! It was delicious! Other things eaten at our table included the grilled calamari, minestrone soup and the special pork chop. Everyone was pleased, and enjoyed. Our server was pleasant, and attentive.

   Love the new location. Great food, great ambience, tables are very close together, tho, because new location is much smaller.

    We were excited to try this new location for one of our previous go-to's. Unfortunately, we were disappointed from start to finish. Parking, which was so abundant and free in the former location, was now subject to a $5 valet charge. We had asked for a quiet table--none to be had in this new space. The noise level made it difficult to be heard without screaming--which the party of 4 women and 1 man adjacent to us did repeatedly. The menu included many of our favorites, at higher prices, and we expected that. But the soup or salad with entrees is now a thing of the past, and an extra charge. One of us ordered the Caesar anyway; the other the house--both were meh. Our guest had the burrata appetizer, which looked and tasted delicious. He also ordered the veal saltimbocca--another great choice. My husband ordered the pork chop special--which the waiter claimed would be excellent. It was anything but. While large, it was a very thin cut and extremely dry. The accompanying potatoes were mushy, and the spinach lacked seasoning. My lasagna--previously consistently reliable--was just okay. Sad. Not sure if we'll be back.
