   Beautiful location, excellent food and service. Our patio table caught the last of the direct sun and allowed us to view the passers by on the pedestrian mall outside the Mission Inn. Delightful!

   We went to Bella Trattoria because we were going to tour the Mission Inn and wanted to enjoy a nice meal before hand. The service was extremely slow. The problem was not lack of waiters or waitresses. It was not that the restaurant was super busy. For that matter, it was almost empty. It seemed the staff was basically not attentive. They stood around by the podium where they greet people and chatted. Drinks were rarely refilled. When we were done, no one came by for quite a while. The food was pretty good but not spectacular. The meatballs were harder than they should have been. There wasn’t enough sauce so the dish was thick and heavy. The chicken piccata was pretty good.

   The service was great! The food was absolutely amazing, I will tell everyone about it. Justin and Chef Loran gave such amazing service. Made my sons feel so special (we celebrated my oldest son graduating 8th grade there). Definitely will be back!

   Great service. Very expensive for moderate food AT BEST. Sorry. Just being honest. We paid $104 for flavorless Linguine and moderate pizza. Honestly: the pizza at San Biagio's, Mod or Bricks and Birch will absolutely blow the doors off of Bella Italian. No joke: Bucca di Beppo is vastly better for overall Italian food.

   Nothing stood out as spectacular. When going to the Mission Inn one expects an experience above others. My mother liked her meal. Can’t say that for mine. Our server and other staff was very nice and accommodating.

   First off, I got a link to look at the restaurants pictures of their food, and none of the things in the pictures were on the menu including deserts-they did not have crème brûlée. The waitress kept telling us over and over again we couldn’t change anything to our liking or change out any sauce on any of the pasta, and everything was premade. My food came out scorched from a heat lamp, and the lasagna, and the rest of the food was not good. It was very bland. Completely disappointed and it was a Mother’s Day weekend and the menu was very limited. I have eaten at 2 other restaurants in this hotel and this one is horrible but the others are great- so confusing

    Overall, the theme of the place is pretty cool I like how you can eat inside or outside to Enjoy the beautiful weather. The only problem was they do not serve liquor, and their menu is very small.

    We booked a dinner reservation for our anniversary and indicated as such on the reservation. Asked for a patio table. Arrived to a near empty restaurant , odd for a Saturday 5/13/23. Hosted was distracted. Tried to give us an indoor table when there was only one occupied patio table. Rolled her eyes at me when I politely asked for a patio table. Finally seated it was 14 minutes before anyone came by, and that was a bus boy. Occupants at the other table were u happy and suggested we consider another venue. We had plenty of time (awaiting the show at the Fox, so we decided to be patient. Finally a server, nice enough, came to the table. We ordered two glasses 🥂of Chianti. 15 minutes later they arrived. We placed out app and enter order then. Calamari was good. Caesar salad good. Napoli pizza good. Lasagna horrible. Clearly it was the last of the pan. Seriously looked like table scraps and was cold. We decided to foregoing any dessert and none was offered anyway. Clearly something was amiss tonight. Even the staff was in disarray. It will be a while before we go back. Maybe management will resolve whatever was going on. We did not let the experience ruin out night out.

    Had the best linguine bolognese…I ate the whole bowl! Cannoli was delicious loved the pistachio chocolate touch. Great customer service. Sat outside under the beautiful orange tree with affordable champagne bottle service!

    Went there because it was on the famous Mission Inn property and expected quality. Far from it. Our whole experience was horrible from service, food, staff!!! Will never be back!!!

    We were here for a conference and had a group of 8. It was a short walk from the convention center and were seated within 10 minutes on the outdoor patio for a late lunch on a Friday. The shaded patio was very nice. Those were the highlights. The service, although friendly, was slow and the food was overpriced (with tax and tip, over $300 without alcohol) and so-so.     We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The insalate was amazing! Jaqueline, our server, was right, it was a taste of Italy! We both had lasagna and it too was really good! Will definitely return! The Mission Inn is a beautiful old hotel that is worth going to just to see the hotel itself, but has really good restaurants.

    Needs to restructure kitchen and timing to accommodate customer orders more accurately and timely. Also, need to ensure appropriate management addresses customer concerns to avoid losing customs and negative feedback.

    Went here in December and it was better than average and convenient to my stay. But this time......... One of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. I dont blame the staff...........the managment needs to be changed and the staff properly trained. No excuses at the Mission Inn. I wont recommend and wont be returning. I was looking forward to having Sunday Brunch at the Mission Inn, but now......sadly, I don't think so.

    A few things didn’t work out. Our server broke a glass on our table, took our appetizer away since glass went everywhere and never brought out a replacement. Our entrées were served cold as if they had been sitting out for a long time.

    Very nice dinner. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the shrimp scampi special, which could have done with more shrimp. The atmosphere was great, as was our server. We will be back soon!

    Overall just ok. Ordered a house salad, received a bowl of salad, untossed, with no utensils to toss it with. I had to toss my own salad and serve it withuntested.. not cool. Salad dressing was strawberry, not well incorporated. Our entries were better, very good linguine with clams however sauce was more like a soup, could have been thickened by butter on pasta. I was pleased with my chicken picatta, it was not dry, it was very rich and savory. As a final note, the ambiance could have been improved by simple addition of candlelight on tables.

    The food was quite poor - sauces were very watery. We had two people in our party order spaghetti and one person had alot of sauce while the other had hardly any. I ordered the clam special and the white sauce was like flavored water. The service, however, was excellent. We were able to be seated 10 minutes before our reservation. The hostess and servers were excellent and very kind. They did their best with recommendations. If you like Italian food I would avoid this place - however it's at no fault to the waitstaff.

    I had a reservation and was seated rather quickly but we didn't get water for 20 minutes. Our order was taken another 20 minutes later and we had to ask 3 times for bread. Other than that it was just okay.

    Very limited menu, food was mediocre. Overpriced for the quality. Charged 12.00 for split plate, without being told. This restaurant should not be connected with the Mission Inn. The other restaurants there are fantastic. I will not return to Bella Trattoria.

    It was hard to find the door to get in. The hostess barely had a pulse. The house salad had plain walnuts not candied. They charged us a $12 split plate for a $13 salad. The spaghetti was cold, The bread was hard and not warm. The ambiance was nice and our server Anne was great.

    Appetizers were too limited, the menu was also limited, no white sauce or seafood linguine. The bruschetta was too crunchy and short on flavor. Inn keepers pasta was perfect except no shredded cheese at table. Pizza ok, lasagna seemed to be only one layer and salmon was quite a small serving. Service was disappointing, we had to ask for refills on soda, more water and bread. We requested appetizer plates be removed and at end of dinner, the plates were just left. The server even served water to person next to me, in front of me instead of behind me. Not so good since 18% is automatic tip. I would come again and hope for improvements... thx

    First time back since the opening. The food was amazing. The service was very slow. It took along time just for someone to come to the table to start our order. The servers very nice but they seemed in a hurry. Was disappointed that there was not a full bar . In the past we were able to order any drinks we wanted. Was also disappointed that the menu was so limited. There was no pannis or calzones.

    Love this property! Lasagna was great, my boys cheese pizza was awesome, my dish was ok. Love the atmosphere and staff are amazing. Highly recommend.
