We had a very enjoyable evening. The food and service was excellent.
highly recommend the salmon ravioli
Wonderful birthday lunch with friends. Very nice day and sat outside. The food was spot on and the waiter was very attentive.
Restaurant empty so not much atmosphere. We were a party of 7. Food was average and came to the table warm not hot
Good for large groups and eating outdoors
I have eaten there before and it has always been very good food and the service is great.
A long time favorite neighborhood restaurant, consistently good food and excellent service, charming ambience in the Victorian home setting with comfortable outdoor seating as well. Had lunch there on 2 consecutive Saturdays. the gorgonzola and apple salad with an addition of grilled salmon was so delicious (even though the apple was omitted) I ordered the same salad the second time. When I placed the order I mentioned the missing apple and it came with extra apple slices. Incidentally my daughter and her husband chose Bella Saratoga for their wedding rehearsal dinner 33 years ago ( it was called Bella Mia at that time but little has changed but the name). One caveat, be aware the restroom is at the top of a steep staircase, it is an old Victorian home .
Outdoor seating wasn’t too cold in mid feb with the heaters. Great date night for a relatively cheap price.
Horrible! Worst restaurant ever. Wait time was outrageous. The hostess/waitresses have bad attitudes and customer service. Management should of comp the meal. Food was nasty, didn’t even get all of our food. Called and all they would do is offer a comp meal which I rather get a refund. $100 for two salads two drinks and a nasty steak. Please do not eat here, unless you want to be taken advantage of and disrespected.
Restaurant had overbooked for Valentine's day. We were seated 30+ minutes after our reservation time. Wait staff never cleared any of our dishes before we left. Received our water, but never a refill. No one ever available to refill our wine. Food was very good, but I would never go back on any holiday.
Good food. Great service.
We made reservations on open table several weeks ago. When we showed up on valentines night (we have small kids so date nights are few), we stood in a long line to check in and they told us they couldn't find our reservation. I showed the one hostess the open table app and she told us to wait over in another area. She said they would do the seating based on when people checked in. There was a huge crowd of people and the other hostess was just randomly seating people. Eventually they found a table for us upstairs. It was ridiculous the number of tables they squeezed in. I am not big and could barely squeeze past the tables. Then we had to wait for a good 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Worst martini in my life when it finally arrived- totally disgusting. service wasn't great - the people who sat down 30 minutes after us received their entrees the same time as us. No one ever asked if we wanted to order more drinks, and the water glasses sat empty. The worst was the entrees. My gnocchi was just gross with a thick pesto sauce that clearly came out of a can. My husband compared his $40 boneless beef ribs to his work cafeteria food. We skipped dessert, something we never due on a rare date night, as we figured the results would be just as bad. One and done for us.
Valentine day, should have known better.
Service was terrible. Main dish came shortly after salad which we had just started, server just went ahead and tried to clear the salad plate, told him we were not finished, so he put the entrees down on our very small table. Floor was dirty with lots of trash which no one made an effort to clean up.
Veal piccata was not tender. Seafood linguini was good.
Valentine’s dinner. Very busy night. Great food. Service was a little slow.
Our Valentine dinner was not up to this restaurant's normal high standard due to understaffing and overbooking (Open Table issues?) for Valentine's Day. That said, this is still one of our favorite restaurants. We will never again venture beyond my back yard Bar-B-Que on St. Valentine's Day.
Went here for Valentines Day and lived the atmosphere but the food was a bit bland. My husband had the lobster ravioli and it was chewy. I had the the short rib and although tender it too was dry and not enough sauce. My salad never came but the shrimp appetizer was on point.
Excellent and friendly service. Nice ambiance, Delicious food.
We had a very enjoyable lunch! The food was super yummy! Our only issue was the service. Our main server was a little rude and not very attentive. We were not in a rush, but it took forever to order our drinks and when we were ready to go it took a while to get the check.
I ordered the ciopinno and while the broth was good there is so little seafood in the broth that it felt like an appetizer. A few shrimp was basically all there was in a large bowl of broth. Why they would think this to be considered a dinner entree is hard to imagine. I don’t recommend going to this restaurant if you are hungry.
Great food and appearance. The service was good the ambiance was a little off due to low number of customers in the middle of the week
As usual a good experience. It has become our fall back place.
Fun atmosphere and good prices. Traditional Italian dishes
They really know how to accommodate their customers. The old Victorian vibe is comfortable and unique. The food was superb!
All good. Love this spot!!
Service was terrible. Took forever to take our order. Water wasn’t even refilled and waiter never asked how we were doing after the food was brought out.
Great ambiance. Good for a business dinner since the restaurant is relatively quiet. Food was good, but not amazing.
We had a party of six people eating at 9pm. We were seated upstairs and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. I had not been here in roughly ten years, but it tasted the way I remember.
New Years Eve
The fish entrees were perfectly cooked. Highly recommend the Corvina special! Our server, Rigo, was very professional s and helpful! Old Victorian building exudes charm. Definitely worth a visit!
Celebrated Christmas dinner with the in-laws. The food was delicious! The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, we sat upstairs. It’s so nice to have a family dinner in a quiet restaurant, which is very rare around here.
I was amazed that on Christmas Eve (which is a crazy busy night to go out), everything was absolutely excellent!
Good food. Attentive service. We arrived 40 minutes early and they sat us at our table immediately.
The lunch was not good...how does one ruin a chicken/avocado sandwich! Anyway...sorry but it was not the best. I had brunch this past summer and it was delicious...the lunch was not.
Spent an early Christmas dinner with my girlfriend here because I was going to be away for the holidays for work. We arrived a little early for a cocktail and was greeted by the bartender and server, Brendan. He made me the best old fashioned I had ever had. He was also our server and provided amazing service. We had great conversations throughout the night and made us feel really special. When wrapping up our dinner, he gave us a bottle of wine on the house to enjoy at home. I can’t explain how much we appreciated the gesture. We will absolutely come back and request him every time. Amazing experience!
Enjoyed a nice, leisurely lunch with friends. We could converse and hear what each had to share. The staff was pleasant.
Excellent dinner for which we arrive rather early but were readily accommodated. Staff and service were great. My meal included an excellent veal piccata and very good veggies. Desserts were also very good with a special touch with a birthday special we hadn't specifically ordered. They took back a wine I very much wanted to order because it had "turned". No questions asked. All in all Bela provided a wonderful birthday dinner.
Staff was friendly and it’s a cute place to have dinner with family or a date. Food was delicious.
The restaurant was cold. To the point, that the food was getting cold.
We like this restaurant. The service has always been excellent,
