Bella Saratoga Ratings and Reviews
Bella Saratoga was delightful venue for dining before the show at The Mountain Winery. While the setting was charming, our server Kiyomi was responsive and delightful with her attentiveness and dinners end gift of chocolate decadent cake for birthday recognition that BTW is a must taste treat. We were disappointed with the Pork Chops which were slightly overdone and the Cioppino was sparse with it primary ingredients. Thank you Kiyomi for your smiling hospitality! Mark and Virginia
As always, Bella Saratoga was a great place to have dinner. We went there for my mom's birthday and had a really nice time! The food was delicious and the service was just right. We've been going there for 13 years now and are so glad this restaurant has stayed consistently good over the years.
I took a group here before we ventured to a concert at Mnt Winery just up the hill. This was a GREAT find...and it'll be on my list to stop at any time I am in the area. Great Food....Good Wine list...and great service. We sat outside for almost 2 hours and enjoyed every bit of our dining experience...the live guitar was a great addition as well. Thank you Bella Saratoga, I'll see you soon.
My husband & I were looking for a nice restaraunt for a date night, we remembered a nice place in Saratoga but didn't remember the name. We found a gem!!! Bella Saratoga is our favorite place now!! Great food! Great service! & a real cute place!! Can't wait to go back!!!
Nice table outdoors set up for eight guests. It was ready when we arrived at 7:00 PM.White table cloth and flowers were a nice touch. The waitress was friendly, attentiveand personable. There is a child's menu that was just right for our son. The main entree's were excellent, and the dessert menu offerings were wonderful.
We have had several romantic dinners, as well as several family events at Bella Saratoga, and they have never failed to provide excellent food and excellent service. We are particularly fond of the Petrale Sole with grapes. The prices are in line with any good restaurant. The only two drawbacks are for people with limited mobility: nearby parking is seldom available, and the ladies rest room is at the top of a fairly steep set of stairs. On this visit, we ate outside on the porch, and the guitar player provided music that was enjoyable, but that did not interfere with our conversation. Additionally, we made a reservation online through OpenTable, making it easy, and we received a confirmation number, just in case.
It was early dining (6:30) on a Monday night and we and our guests were the only ones there. That felt a bit strange but it was easy to talk and hear with no ambient noise. We obviously got a lot of attention and the waiters were excellent and very personable. The outdoor dining is lovely (heaters are available) but it was still a little chilly outdoors so we opted for staying indoors by the large window in front.
I had a really bad experience at Bella Saratoga on Mother’s day. The hostess was giving me a hard time about sitting outside for lunch even though I indicated on Opentable.com and over the phone confirmation reservation that I wanted outside sitting. When I spoke to the manager about my situation he was not willing to work with me either. I had to pull teeth to get outside sitting I was thinking WHAT THE HECK DO RESERVATIONS mean at this restaurant. When they finally found us a table, the waiter threw the menu at us and was irritated that we asked him about when our dishes were going to come out. We waited for an hour to finally get our dishes and unfortunately the dish I got was really inedible. When the manager asked us how our exp
Not a good experience. It started with the hostess snapping at me when I mentioned that I confirmed the reservation the previous day when she couldn't find it on the books. (She was also rude to another woman before us.) Our waiters were very nice but it took forever to get our food. Fortunately we were served a fruit plate because it took over an hour and 15 minutes for us to get our food after we ordered. Three tables around us that were seated, served, and left by the time our food arrived. I never got my water refilled during the 45 minutes we had our food. We sat outside with heaters and it was WAY too hot, but they were never turned down after multiple requests.
In short, our 2 hour meal was NOT a good experience!
We confirmed TWICE by phone that Easter Brunch would include the regular lunch menu so that our vegetarian adult children would have a range of selections. Once we were seated, we were told the lunch menu was NOT an option. Very disappointing. To our server's credit, the kitchen did finally make a few of the vegetarian lunch entrees available. And our server tried his best to make up for the restaurant's mistake throughout the meal, but the false information we'd been fed put a damper on the visit. Food was good but not great. Eggs benedict were hard, not runny as they should be. Sauces uninspired. Would not return.
Our Dining Experience for Brunch was very nice. The ambiance was quaint and had a European flair. The tables are crowded together but did not create any major problems. The food was prepared and served in short order and was done very elegantly. Food was properly priced, although the Mimosa's were highly overpriced for the small glass served. The building was old but had that Italian Country feel to it. Loved the guitarist playing for us during our entire Brunch, very nice touch. The Servers could be a little more friendly, although they were nicely attentive. Very pleasant overall experience had.
Went for Easter brunch and sat at an outside table. The food was very good and the guitar player provided nice ambiance. Perhaps because it was Easter and the restaurant was full the service, while friendly, was very slow. There was a long wait between each course and our beverages didn't arrive until after the first course. Our waiter also forgot to bring a refill. Ultimately though, because we weren't in any rush the service issues weren't a major problem and the positives outweighed the negatives. I would give them another try.
We had easter brunch. The food was not good. The sausage had no taste and the eggs were runny. The hostesss was extremely rude and basically grabbed a chair from our table where my wife's purse was resting despite the fact that we said were using it. They had plenty of chairs in the place they could have used for another table but she was too lazy to walk further to get one.
I used to eat here quite a bit but the food has gone down hill.
I will note they did have good pastries (instead of serving bread) and there was a live classical guitar player.
We've been going here for years. Our brunch was excellent, the service was fantastic and the prices reasonable. We sat outdoors and the heat lamps kept us really warm. This is one of my favorite places. They are very consistent in always providing great service and food.
We were given a window table as requested but our birthdays were completely overlooked. The service was attentive. The salads and veggies were very good but the fish (halibut special and salmon) were overcooked. I'd rate the Tiramasu average - I've had better.
Overall, our experience was very pleasant but not spectacular.
