Bella Notte Ratings and Reviews
This was our first visit but it won't be our last. our serve, Gabriel, was informative, friendly and attentive. the food was plentiful, delicious and enticing. we have to go back just to try more entrees. complimentary dessert for birthday was a nice surprise.
We really love this place. The food is outstanding every time. We had a huge order of fried Calamai and delicious shrimp cocktail. The drinks were very good. Our waiter was so busy but still gave us very good service. I had veal marsala that was fabulous. My husband had the Italian steak that was amazing. My son had the chicken oregano that he loved and his friend had cheese ravioli that he thought was delicious. Thanks for a great meal. We will be back.
It was a busy night and I think there was only one waiter in the place. Not his fault, but when he took our order he told us he was “crazy busy”. Drinks took a long time to get as did the food. They both came in shifts. Some people getting drinks/food while others had to wait. Soups and dinners did taste good.
This restaurant never disappoints. This was our third visit. The protabello mushroom appetizer was incredible. I wanted to order another plate for my entree but was too late. But that was a good thing as the waiter promised my green spinach noodle dish would be equally good. And, he was right. The breads beforehand, special olive oil, my husband's Italian salad and my daughter's cavatappi carbonara dish were equally amazing. The spumoni ice cream is always a nice finish. Waiters and bus boys are always very attentive and accommodating. We love to sit in the window at the front, next to the bar. Can't wait to return to enjoy the lovely platter of grilled vegetables with sweet balsamic sauce. Amazing value and delicious!
This was our first time there and will definitely go back. Food was outstanding. We were seated by the window so had a good view of the great variety of people who came there to eat that evening. Our server was very good, though he did reverse our orders, but was quick to make a good joke about it when told. Wine list was good and offered a variety of options in different price ranges.
As I said, the food was great and there was more than enough to take home and have a send great food experience the next day.
My entire family having dined at Bella Notte many times were disappointed on Sunday May 21st. We ordered Shrimp Diavalo which came with only 3 shrimp scampi. Extremely undercooked. We told the waiter and he took our shrimp and literally brought them back in pieces instead of 3 new shrimp. I don't think we will ever go back. This place should close. Too many established restaurants left in city, they are done!!!!!!
Wonderful food, though the waiter recommended a special without telling the price. Special ended up costing way more than we expected. The place was also very loud , making for difficult conversation among a party of 3. This is the second time I have been to Bella; once for lunch and now for dinner. I preferred the lunch atmosphere. That said, the food as very good and the place is a gem in an offbeat location.
We stumbled across this restaurant after checking out two others within walking distance. We made reservations online and were promptly seated and waited on. We ordered the full portions because of the cost differential. When the meals were served, we couldn't believe our eyes, and we were only able to eat about one forth of the plate. The waiter checked on us several times during our visit. We would highly recommend this restaurant for the food as well as the service. Our only comments are to come hungry and enjoy.
