Great meal on a beautiful early Fall Saturday night.
Veal Saltimbocca was delicious and My wife had a perfectly prepared salmon.
The service here is absolutely first rate.
Very attentive waitstaff. Good food. Nice place for a special occasion or with a group of friends.
Helpful friendly wait staff. Delicious food, interesting specials. Great view if you can snag a window table.
As always - we really enjoyed our meal. Food was great - view was great and Patty & Mateo were awesome! One of my favorite SIC restaurants.
Waited too long for dinner to be served
Not very good food
Delicious homemade gnocchi with a tasty vodka sauce. My boyfriend enjoyed his ribeye steak which was a hefty portion served with potatoes and asparagus. Needless to say we left with full bellies and satisfied. Will come back again.
Good local restaurant. We enjoy Bella Luna. Food is always good and the specials are worth trying. Kid friendly as well. Even better when you get a window table and can enjoy the ocean view while dining.
Service tends to be slow. For those who want or to expect fast service, be warned. In center of town so parking can be an issue at times.
Overall, in my opinion, one of the better places to eat in Sea Isle.
This was our first time dining at Bella Luna. It was a treasure. Our whole party enjoyed their meals. Would highly recommend.
After a terrible dining experience my wife and I had last April of 2016 ,I was convinced I would never go back but on a recommendation from my son he convinced me to give it another try. I don't know what they did other than reading my negative review but what a change. Their prices I feel are still a little high but no one in my dining party(4) had anything negative to say about their meals. Wife had a veal, eggplant dish , Son and fiancé had the chicken parmigiana (still on the small side compared to other SIC restaurants) and I had the seafood risotto which to me had the best value.Appetizers were excellent (grilled calamari, grilled Asian shrimp). Always request a window table you have a great ocean view and also people watch when the band is playing at Excursion Park. Second try was very rewarding . As Arnold said in Terminator,"I'll Be Back".
First time returning here in two years. Food was good. Service was OK. No salad included with dinner. Nice Lemoncello shot after dinner.
The food was tastey but the portions were small. I liked the Ocean View from this place but if you're not seated on the outside edges you don't get the view.
We all thought our food was very good, but had the same experience as a previous reviewer, in that the waitress asked every person in our party of 6 whether we wanted to add crabmeat or shrimp to our dish, depending on what it was. THis is very odd and seems to suggest that the chef's interpretation of his dish can be enhanced. None of us opted to do this but our food was great. It did come across as an upsell, though, but other than this mild annoyance, everyone found service to be good and food delicious. Would go back for sure
Always great food and service
Fantastic views of promenade
The food was delicious but our waitress was way too pushy and tried to constantly upsell us. We ended up with WAY too much food that we didn't need and she did nothing about it when we brought it up. We didn't appreciate the constant upselling. It made us uncomfortable and spend more than we needed with way too much food.
Good service, average food, bland looking restaurant unless you're by a window.
The food was excellent. This was our second time there. I did mention that two of the people in our party had birthdays but it wasn't acknowledged at all
My wife and I pass Bella Luna frequently when visiting Sea Isle. We decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly, and the view of the pavilion at night was nice. Unfortunately, after the appetizer, we waited almost an hour for our entrees. I actually had to go back to the car and add time on the meter due to the delay. When the food arrived, my fish fillet was raw in the middle. Not just undercooked.. raw. My wife enjoyed her pasta dish, and the antipasta appetizer had been good, but I can only assume the fail on the fish was due to rushing to get something out after the lengthy wait. The restaurant was only half full so it was not a matter of being too busy. Although the server acknowledged that the fish was inedible, they did not remove the item from the bill as would be customary in any quality establishment. Instead, they brought a single piece of Tiramisu as an apology.
Overall, it was not a great experience, and definitely not worth the price. I won't be back, and would be very unlikely to send any of my friends to try it out.
The meal and the service were outstanding. I would highly recommend to friends and and family who visit Sea Isle often.
We enjoyed a very well presented meal with great tastes in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Service was adequate but could have been better with timing.
Overall excellent experience.
Husband loved peach appetizer. Portions were appropriate. Great location!
Food and service was excellent. Loved the grilled calamari.
food was very good...little bit pricey but then again everything is at the shore.
Food was good, not a very good flow around the restaurant.
Food was good, nice touch with white tablecloths, large party nearby started out quiet but kids got louder as evening progressed. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, but was overwhelmed with too many tables to service.
Booked a week in advance and asked for window table for party of 6. Got there it was almost empty and we were not given a window seat. Bread was stale. Left around 7:30 and still hardly anyone there. Don't think it is going to make it. Food was fair.
The food and service were unremarkable at best. The halibut was tough while the accompanying risotto was delicious.
Complete disappointment. ate here 2 times before and had good experience, so recommended it for dinner with another couple. Place was relatively empty on a Saturday night in peak summer season. Waitress asked us if we wanted to add crab meat or shrimp to everything including one of the evening specials? So 2 bowls of soup ~$40 and not very good. Three of the four starters came out at one time, the last over 5 minutes later. Two of us order a pasta special which was supposed to a stuffed ravioli with sausage and cheese. Waitress came back 10 later after we order and said needed to change the pasta. When the special came out, rec'd spinach pasta with shrimp? Really, not so special, reduce the price please. Ordered a braised rib special with price not mentioned $45 for half fat. Overpriced and underwhelmed, won't be back.
Service was great, food was delicious, and the view of the ocean was wonderful!
Fabulous dinner 🍴 would definitely visit again. Fish was delicious 😋
We had a great time on our date night at Bella Luna. Service was excellent, and the food was amazing. Loved their specials using fresh Jersey ingredients like the peaches in the salad. We were seated at the window on the third floor where we could watch the ocean during our meal. We ate early, so it was pretty quiet. It's BYOB, but there is a store right around the corner. Highly recommended.
we have been coming to sea isle for years, and couldn't get into bella luna last year. since this past weekend was very crowded, we saw a spot on open table and jumped on it... we thought the view was beautiful from the 3rd floor, and our waiter was attentive, but besides the pesto with the fresh bread, the meal was mediocre at best. my mahi dish was so dry, I returned it, the chicken parm portion was one small cutlet and a small amount of pasta for $22 was laughable! for that price, a POUND of pasta could have been presented. My friend ordered the crab risotto, and the portion was HUGE, and looked out of place next to the rest of our dishes. Our mahi meal was refunded by a very nice manager, and she truly was great. Unfortunately, we won't be back since it just didn't go over well.
We had a wonderful meal with a terrific view of downtown Sea Isle City
The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious
The waitress we had, her name was Sue was so friendly and especially with my grandchildren. The food was average, nothing spectacular!!
The food was very good, but we arrived at 6 PM only to be told the day boat scallop special was already sold out! Why make it the special then...Overall, food was good.
This is not a positive review. Food was fine, as was the waitress. My brother ate with us and ordered chicken parm. He asked if he could substitute a vegetable and pass on the pasta. He was told, no, they would have to bring out the pasta and would upcharge for the vegetable. I found this policy to be ridiculous. and politely told the waitress this. Wouldn't budge. Did they need the $8 that badly? I can't imagine any establishment not accommodating this. Well, they got their $8. But I won't be back and I certainly will advise others in Sea Isle to take a pass as well.
Great BYOB at the shore. Great meal, very friendly service.
Great food! Excellent Service! BYOB... enjoy!
