Not greeted very promptly,made open dining reservation and listed 2 birthdays and was not recognized. I did not mention it to the server because I thought it would be recognized without even saying we didn't want dessert, just bring the celebratory item to the table without even asking, so I speculated the server was not advised. We had a good celebration last time there and also went thru Open table listing B days. The lamb chop special which has been the same, used to be good, lamb chops were cooked ok, but the overly sweet sweet potatoes and asparagus all floating in melted mint jelly was not very tasty.Leave out the sweet potatoes and put that jelly in a small bowl on the side. Mussels still good, veal was good, but have noticed a change going on here. Seems to have become a bit more generic than it used to be. Service was ok but not as attentive as it used to be. The bus person came by several times and I was not finished, it is a good thing to have good bus people but at the right time and don't pick up the dishes until all diners at the table are done, feels pushy doing that. Menu needs to get revised and specials need to be recreated.
