Home made pasta, breads, cheese, and more. The quality of the pizza and toppings surpassed all of our expectations and the homemade burrata cheese appetizer was divine.
The server was attentive and did a great job of explaining the menu and ingredients. We're looking forward to going back to try the pasta!
I introduced three friends to Bella Gusto when they said they wanted pizza. They were all raving about their pizzas the entire meal. I opted for the pasta pomodoro and the papparadelle was some of the freshest pasta I’ve ever had.
Solid Non-Chain choice for wood-fired pie. Could use some more creative seating options as it was just tables jambing into same space as bar. Food was good, service was great!
This restaurant is tucked in a far away corner of the shopping center so don't give up if you don't see it right away.
Our service was excellent and the food was super yummy. The mac n' cheese was SUPERB!
Kat our server was on top of it..We were a party of 8 and she did not miss a beat. Everyone had something different. Pizza, pasta, salads all good - we all agreed to be back soon. Leave room for the zeppole (sp?) a dessert not to be missed. AAAA+++
Gnocchi was fresh and delicious. The pizza was very good as well.
Food was amazing and drinks were as well. We did not have the best server....but good news we were not in a hurry. Owner even stopped by to say thank you.
Great place and beats any chain restaurant!
The food at this place was amazing. Meatballs were very good and the sauce was great. Pizza was a good size and had great crust. Service was very good and professional.
Went for the first time last week. We love wood fired pizza. Decor is a little plain and simple, but clean. Service was excellent. The waitress was attentive but did not hover. We ordered a pasta, two pizzas and a bruschetta to share for 4 people. The portions were good. Pasta was very tasty and the flavor on the pizzas was also tasty but the middle of both pizzas was very soggy. Bruschetta was pretty bland. We decided it is worth one more attempt and will request the pizzas be cooked a bit longer next time. Overall good, but not great.
The restaurant has a lot of character inside, with tasty food and a nice variety of beer. The waitress was accomodating, and compensated us for the food missing from our order. We will return for a date night.
Always a great to visit Bella Gusto! Entire staff has always been friendly & helpful since our 1st visit! Pizza here has easily broke our FAVORITE!...and save room for dessert (my recommendation is the Sticky Toffee Cake)!
I love this place. First visit, I sat at the bar solo, Kat introduced herself & chatted a bit. I ordered the red sangria (delicious & sweet). Ordered the Four Cheese pizza, Kat suggested gorgonzola instead of goat cheese. It was incredible. The dough is thin & chewy, gorgonzola added a great tangy flavor. Best pizza in the area!!!! A couple of the guys stopped by to chat (owners?) - very nice, explained they make the cheese & pasta in-house & how they make that great chewy dough. Super friendly staff here.
Second visit on a busy Fri. night, I had the Mary Margherita pizza. So delicious. The house-made mozzarella was fantastic. Affogato ended the meal - the coffee gelato balanced the espresso shot perfectly! Next visit I'll try the homemade pasta -- the pizza is just so hard to resist!!! Thanks Kat & Bella Gusto family!
It’s really great pizza. I mean, really great pizza. Service is always friendly and efficient. It’s our new go-to spot
We liked the different type of Pizzas offered, the almost individual servings and the quality of the topings. We would go again. It remined me of the famous Phoenix Blanco Pizza in the Heritage Area.
This place never disappoints! It’s our go to place for pizza in the east valley. GREAT pizza crust, I could eat the crust alone, and creative toppings cooked in the big brick oven!
Great thin true neoploitan pizza. Try the fire bread. Awesome. Wednesday all pizzas $10
The best food in Chandler, maybe all of Phoenix! Our new favorite restaurant😁
Quality food and great service in a family friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return.
The service was fantastic and the food was even better
Was there on Friday, Sept. 22nd to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had all our kids and grandchild as well. The young lady at the bar was amazing and she also served our food. We had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. My husband and I plan to spend our date nights (Fridays) at the bar.
First time for all four of us- won't be the last! Happy service, fun servers and fresh yummy food!
We had two bottles of really good wine, and the birthday girl got a candle in her beer! So FUN!
Service was amazing. Food portions were generous. Since it Was our 1st time, my husband and I ordered a pizza- peperoni and a special house salad and also the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was very fresh, the meatballs were our favorite! I have to agree with a previous review...a bit salty for my tastes.
First time to Bella Gusto for their wood fire pizza. Started with delicious calamari with marinara sauce. They were lightly dusted with corn meal giving the dish a lightness that is not always found in calamari. For pizzas had the Margherita and the Triple P. The latter was described as having pancetta, goat cheese, fig jam, roasted mushrooms, arugula and pickled red onion. When served it was hard to taste any pancetta or fig jam. The was an abundance of arugula &a onions which was disappointing. The sauce on the Margherita had a sweetness to it that we liked. There is a full bar and they make a good Mule. Salted caramel gelato was a hit for dessert. The place has a good start on ambiance but is missing some key elements. There was no background music or if so it was very soft. That led to us being able to hear many conversations at neighboring tables. Some nice Italian music would be perfect. All in all Bella Gusto was good but there are so many good pizza places these days that they will need to step up their game.
My husband and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at Bella Gusto. Having gone to Italy in March, we wanted to find food made the same Italian way. Bella Gusto is the place. I ordered the Gnocchi and it was amazing. So much flavor. The spaghetti and meatballs were the best we'd ever had. The Caprese salad is to die for and we ordered a white pizza with prosciutto. The ambiance was perfection with the live guitarist, we loved it!!
Fantastic setting, food and service. What a great place for a date or visit with old friends.
I ordered the chicken marsela and it was so salty I could not eat it . The waitress brought me a cheese pizza as a replacement. There was hardly any cheese on it and the crust was mushy. The waitress did a good job, though.
From the minute you get out of your car the aroma draws you into the restaurant !
We have gone several time with friends, and have not been disappointed.
Creative menu, quick and friendly service.
Will be back~ ;-)
We are regulars there. Always amazing.
We went on a co-worker's recommendation and enjoyed every little bite of our food! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is really pleasant too. It was all day Happy Hour on Sunday too, so that didn't hurt! Everything was super delish and the Elvis desert pizza was remarkable!
Still loving this place. Everything is exceptional.
A very quaint wood-fired oven pizza spot in northern Chandler. I didnt know what to expect for Mothers day. But in honor of our Mothers they held an all day Happy Hour for Mimosas and Sangria.
We arrived with a reservation for 6:30 and had to wait just a little bit for the table to be prepared and were seated promptly with friendly service.
We ordered the Bruschetta, sadly they only have one kind it was a pesto with cherry tomatoes, and it was scrumptious, which is the reason I was so sad because they could certainly prepare another delicious variety.
Our waitress explained the specials and we chose to split a pizza and their special meatball lasagna. Although I missed taking a full photo of the meatball lasagna it was just perfect. I'm not a ricotta fan, in fact the less the better and if we hadn't split it amongst the three of us someone would have had seconds to take home. We also ordered the Sicilian Pizza and the crust was thin just how I enjoy .
We keep going back. It's a wonderful place.
Pizza is great. Staff is friendly. We will definitely return
Great food and service. Actually Restaurant needs some love; the decor doesn't match the food quality.
We had the pizza. I am not a pizza person but their's was amazing. We will be back.
Love this place!!! Excellent Pizza, great service
Great food, gotta do something about people bringing small children and letting them run around and be noisy.
The service was excellent and the food was so good! Pasta Pomodoro has always been my favorite but Bella Gusto's version surpasses anything I have ever had! The house bread is fun and tasty. I will tell everyone about Bella Gusto
Service was fantastic. No wait time even on Valentine's Day but we did have a reservation. The pizza dough was a little raw which was odd since it was cooked in a 1000 degree oven. That's first for this kind of pizza. Other than being undercooked, the pizza was very good. Calamari was ok and the Titamasu was decent, but no Maggianos. Overall it was a good experience and we would go back again if in the area. I don't know how long they've been there, but it seems like they're still setting up their place since it seemed like an awkward layout and kind of under construction.
Bella Gusto was good. We shared the large house salad and the fungi pizza.
The salad was very good - we liked the Italian dressing and the salad was very fresh.
The pizza was just ok. It's a brick oven pizza which should be great but I found the dough had no flavor, The sauce had an odd aftertaste - not sure what it was.
The waitress and hostess were excellent. Very attentive and made our visit very pleasant.
I read the reviews and they are spot on. The food is great, loved the pizza and tiramisu. House bread, not so great. I will be going there a lot.
