Went here on a recomendation from a friend for a business dinner. Pork chop was outstanding, and was recommended by our server as the #1 item on the menu- spot on! The service was superb with the perfect personality for the restaurant! Will recommend to others!

lackluster overall experience and almost inedible food. They were short on staff so the service was only fair. I won't be back, sorry!

There were several restaurants in Beldon's Alley. My colleagues chose Taverna based on the description of the Chef on their website. Two appetizers - Tuna Poke and Duck Quesadilla were great. The entres were average and not notable. Also, it would have been helpful if the waiter let us know that each would have 3 pieces so we could decide on other choices as there were 4 in our party. There was a Happy Hour item for Fred's Fried Chicken wings for $8. My colleagues opted for the entre--Fred's Fried Chicken for $22. We thought this disk would include a chicken breast or chicken leg, instead it came with Fred's Fried Chicken wings.

There were two servers who were taking orders, delivering orders, removing dishware, etc. They were working hard and doing the best they could, but they were not able toheck in with tables. Several patrons had to get up to get their check and to pay. Most people would not have enough time to come here during lunch.

The menu presented at the restaurant was not the same as the menu on-line. We were disappointed to find some items not offered and higher prices. On the waiter's recommendation, we ended up eating off of the Happy Hour menu. The food was good and the server let us trade out a better beer than the Happy Hour beer offered.

Loved it. Great location great food. Only bummer that the menu attached to the open table app is outdated. I really wanted the crab spaghetti and they don't have it. Somehow they can't remove the menu from the site? Weird. But still a great restaurant will go back for sure!!

I made a reservation at this place for an office lunch, which ended up being a great experience. We were seated outdoors and were a party of 12. I was worried that we were too large of a party to all fit comfortably, but Belden Taverna made it work. The service was good, food was great, and all of my co-workers were really happy!

How can you not have coffee?? What a waste of time and money. And by the way they serve watery instant mashed potatoes. Just awful.

I met with one other person for a business lunch. We were seated outside under a heater, with me sitting farthest from the heater. Temperature regulation was a bit iffy - and that was the only part of the experience that was at all bad. Service was exemplary, food was fabulous. I only wish my lunch partner (who arrived before me) would have been ok sitting inside.

For my second visit to Belden Taverna, I was joined by a good friend who ordered the NY steak while I had the petite filet. We had the excellent deviled eggs to start. We also ordered a bottle of Perseverance Old Vines Zinfandel, which was superb. Franz Meis and his associates Alina and Willie made our evening very special with their gracious attention and service. When I return to San Francisco, I know my table at Belden Taverna will be waiting.
