About Beertown Public House - Waterloo
Beertown is the destination for the instinctively curious. It fuels the fascination for all things purposefully crafted, whether that's beer, cuisine or design. Our guests know that life is too short for the ordinary. With 30 beers on tap and about 100 in a bottle, there is a beer for everyone. Our chefs have taken as much time as the brewers to craft everything that goes on each plate. We look forward to serving you.

Beertown Public House - Waterloo Ratings and Reviews
The service was terrible from beginning to end. The hostess had an attitude, our server rolled her eyes when a colleague asked for recommendations, she huffed when another took longer than 5 seconds to order a beer, after letting her know that my California burger didn’t have an avocado on it, she brought two tiny slices of one on a bread plate and said “here, in case you still haven’t found it.”
We travel from NYC every week for business and stay down the street. This used to be one of our favorite places, but we can’t see ourselves going back anytime soon.
Overall, Beertown is one of my favourites. The quality of ingredients is outstanding and the taste of the food in every dish is out of this world. Would recommend to a friend. Can be louder at times due to how busy they are, and hard to hear your own conversation. It is generally a dark lit place.
Food was really good but it took too long and when we did receive it was cold. The manager was very gracious and offered to cover our meal since he had received other complaints about cold food as well. Maybe it was just a bad day. It was too bad because we had heard good things about Beertown.
We arrived on time for our reservation, but despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated directly beside what appeared to be a large corporate event. It was difficult to dine and socialize and handle a toddler, within arm's reach of a bustling standing crowd. The service was quick, and the meal was tasty, but delivered luke-warm.
It was Father's Day, and turns out they get backed up on occasions like that. Wings were great appy which was important as mains took over an hour. Avocado flat bread was "good" I have steak and Brie sandwich, very good but isn't big. Kids meal had to go back due to being "very hard" new one came out asap and was then " nice and soft" I'd have given service a 1 for being so slow and a 5 because she was so sweet and apologetic so I settled on a 3. First blip ever at beer town so long story short I highly recommend
This was a great place to meet for lunch. Unfortunately, at the moment, the parking and access is a bit compromised because of all the construction nearby (parking lot included). However, it was worth the effort to come. Fast service, delicious food and an excellent selection of craft beers!
Our second trip to Beertown this year and once again a great time! Extensive range of beers - naturally - but the food is fantastic too! I just can't go past the brisket platter - phenomenal both times - and the rest of the group loved everything they ordered. Servers are polite and know what they are doing - thoroughly recommend Beertown for any occasion!
