Conveniently located, with a wide variety of food options, reasonably priced for the midtown/theatre district location, loud enough to make conversation a challenge at 6:30pm on a Thursday.
Super Saturday night watching Syracuse vs Duke on their multiple TVs.
Great selection of local/regional craft beers.
Warm friendly service from Julio.
Wings were much spicier than the mild we had ordered.
There was a wide variety of food. It was hard to choose . I liked the crab cakes. My friend got the short rib sandwich and it was tasty too. Good place to dine with friends.
excelente lugar para tomar algo y comernalgo ligero
Beer selection wasn’t that great and the TV was so loud we couldn’t hear each other across the table.
We went for a late dinner on Friday and liked it so much that we went back for brunch on Sunday which was delicious.
Quick, tasty - good beer selections and good option for an easy casual meal in midtown
This was our first food stop in NY. I was very excited as the reviews were good and beer selection was great. The waitress Marina seemed very rushed and promptly explained how busy they were and gave us an estimate of 41 minutes on food...didn’t set the mood to say the least, especially with reservations. The positive is they did fill the special request of location in the restaurant , which was nice. The beer came quickly which was great but the food came almost 45 min later after seeing our exact entrees served to a couple guest that arrived 25 min after us. Dumb luck, but still irritating. The food was subpar and fries cold. Luckily our server made sure to have a fresh hot basket out almost momentarily after we expressed our concerns. Sadly the experience was like trying to raise the Titanic and we will not be back, except maybe for a beer. Again, it’s sad to have to lump a great server in with crap food and bad kitchen service but a restaurant is a team and 70 dollars could have been spent much better ways.
the things we ordered were not available, this was for the main menu and also for dessert
Great food. Great beer selection. Fun place for a casual meal, right in the heart of things in Manhattan.
Recommend for lunch if in this Hells Kitchen area. Bar downstairs is small so go upstairs to restaurant. Bigger than you think. Early lunch so noise not an issue. Oysters were ice cold--great and lunch was very good. Fish and chips light and delicious, French fries great. Chicken sandwich was tasty. So many beers to order! Had a coffee stout---good brunch choice. Waitress was very nice.
Hair In my food. Service not great. Bathroom dirty.
If your in to beer this is not one to miss so many you will need to come back
The chicken wings are amazing
Good selection of veggie options
Great selection of food and drink to suit everyone
A very energetic bar atmosphere not somewhere for a quite chat.
It’s cool place but not so much for family with a kid. Beers are good, food is ok
Very noisy bar with fantastic food and great beer selection ... felt slightly more expensive than other bars in the area on beer price but worth it for the much wider choice .
Prime Short Rib Sandwich is the best in NYC .
Was too loud. Could not have a conversation with the other 3 people at my table without raising our voices.
Good food, lot of noise
Way too loud for a family meal, good beer and good food though.
Great food and service. Very loud. Get the Mac n cheese side.
Delivered what I expected. It’s a bar with plenty of beer and bar food.
The service was definitely sub par. They didn’t bring us water. No one told us that if we sat roof top that we’d have to fend for ourselves. The chairs were ridiculously uncomfortable. The food was ok but nothing special. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
A little quieter than I expected from a bar but was amazing food and a good brunch deal
I was not happy with my meal at all and the way they did things were odd. For instance I asked for a coke float and one guy came by plopped the ice cream and then said the soda is coming soon.
Average range of beers and didn’t live up to the website. Service was nothing special either. This is neither for beer enthusiasts or tourists. Give it a miss
It wasn’t busy at first around 4pm but then it was absolutely slammed, wall to wall people. So loud you couldn’t hear yourself think! Went back a second day for lunch and it was much better. Great beer list and good food!
Food was above average, but expected better beer selection. Only a handful of actual craft beer on tap, most was normal. Also less than 60 available unlike the marketing for 90+.
I have been to Times Square a few times this year and been to Beer Authority three times. It is very consistent, affordable and easy to get a table. Great draft selection and the appetizers are really good. The service has been great every time.
Service was okay. Servers were in a disagreement with each other and not hiding it from patrons. Food was mediocre at best and order wasn’t fulfilled...just replaced with a different option that was not offered to us ... simply given. Not good enough Beer Authority!!
Food was better than expected. Wide selection of beers. Very, very loud. Good service.
Had food here and it was excellent. The bar man was very informative and willing too
The beer selection was very good. The mimosas were very tasty.
Best pub grub in NYC! Great prices for NYC.
While vacationing in NYC my wife and I stopped in for the first time on Friday for a really good meal. We saw a flyer while there, advertising brunch on Sat. and Sunday. We went on Sunday for the Jazz brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the music, excellent musicians in the band.
Amazing brunch deal! Best French toast I’ve ever had.
A great place to hang out with friends before a show or to sample many different kinds of beers. Service was a bit slow, and we sometimes felt like an afterthought, but I can imagine it was because of the volume of people there. The fried burritos were gigantic!
I went with a friend to watch the NCAA basketball tournament and while the games were on there was no interest in them. I thought it was a sports bar.
The food was pretty good, the service was very good but I thought the beer list was good not great.
If it's not a sports bar, the beer list is just good and the food is good then there are many places in NYC that are just as good if not better.
I love that they have a good selection of beer! The food is good(only had appetizers). People were nice, but our server was very forgetful. Awesome location!
Great place! This is where a Syracuse fan needs to be during March Madness! Very friendly hostess and waitress (Laura). Food and drinks were excellent, as well as decent prices.
Just ok. Booked a high top. Even the confirmation call said high top. We got a table. Food was just ok nothing special. Service slow.
