   The downstairs cellar was a neat find. Very rustic and great place for a casual dinner or lunch. Great mac and cheese. Small menu but lots of options for everyone.

   Service was slow to the point it was almost non-existent. Food was good, but we only saw our waiter for brief moments every 20-30 mins. We were a group of 8 and would have ordered more had we seen our waiter more often. Very disappointed.

   Went to Beechers for a client lunch the other day and it was great! We all got our own soup - the tomato soup was amazing, the french onion a close second. Then we shared a bunch of small plates. For 5 people, we split: 2 kale salads, an order of the meatballs, one grilled cheese and a Cesar salad. We were going to order a charcuterie plate to share, but we were so full since the plates were a pretty decent size. It's downstairs in their Cellar, so it's very dark and super cozy. If you like cheese, definitely check this place out.

   We went here for brunch with a few friends, and it was perfect for cozy comfort food that felt just a touch upscale. The tomato soup was some of the best I've ever had!

   We flew in from California for a music concert weekend and The Cellar was recommended by a friend. Not only was the food and wine amazing, but the staff was charming and very helpful. I'm so glad we spent our evening dining there!

   Mushroom tart was pretty tasty and imaginative, but I wasn't blown away by any of the mac and cheeses on our sampler (we had all the veggie options) or the white bean dip. Ambiance and service were both better than the food. It's nice and quiet in the cellar, but the servers are fun and the right level of engaged.

   The food was super rich. Noise level was quite loud and hard to hear our friends speak. Mac and cheese was inconsistent in how much it was cooked as we ordered a couple so could compare. Wouldn't rush back here.

   After spending some time looking for a good dinner spot in Flatiron, my husband and I decided to venture into The Cellar. Having tried Beecher's cheese in Seattle, we knew we were in for a treat. We had a reservation for 8 PM, but were seated early - around 7:45. A huge plus, since we were hungry. The menu had some fantastic selections, and we settled on the cheesemonger's cheese plate, the meat flatbread, and buffalo mac and cheese. We also got a cocktail, each. All in all, the food was phenomenal, and our servers were friendly and accommodating. If I had only one complete, it's that the restaurant was a bit noisy, since it has a thriving bar scene in the back. Would definitely go back.

    food was really good and the server was nice if odd, but it's so loud and we went on a quiet Wed. night when it was only half full. The food is very good and the wines by the glass are as well. The server makes good suggestions and is aware of how to accommodate gluten free. they subsitituted GF crackers. the atmosphere is nice and cozy for winter, but honestly it's sooo loud it would be tough to recommend, but that's the only drawback
