Fresh and tasty
Artichokes just right
Delicious soft shell crab and charred octopus
Waitress was nowhere to be found most the night
Food for lunch was excellent. Good prix fixe selection for lunch with cookies to go for dessert. Great burger with pork belly. Service was fast and efficient. Fits the neghborhood favorites category well.
Our waiter Victor was awesome. He made sure we got everything we needed and provided exceptional service. He was also able to change our order at the last minute. Food came out very fast. Everything was delicious and made perfectly.
It was fine. Wouldn’t rule out coming back but would probably go other places first.
The food was AMAZING. wouldn’t let us sit until everyone was there (even though it was almost empty. Makes zero sense). Little too loud for my liking. Definitely a little pricey but the food was worth it. Portions not too big. Service was not great.
The food was outstanding! I had the market fish of the day (Arctic Char); it was perfectly seasoned and served medium rare. My husband had the pork chop which was delicious. Our server, Margarita, was lovely. She was unobtrusive but always present to keep our glasses filled. This was a very pleasant dining experience.
Loved the Cab Franc the Mgr. recommended. My duck was superb!! Will come back when I’m in the City!
Very disappointed with our experience. We had a party of 8 for a graduation party and the service was absolutely horrible. It took 20 mins to get a drink and much longer to order.
Very good, will come again.
I've been to Bedford & Company on numerous occasions. I even had a vegan friend who came with me for dinner one night and the staff is always accommodating. This time was no different. My friends were celebrating an engagement and they were there for the first time. They loved it. Always a crowd pleaser.
Food was mediocre. Very loud. Service was poor. Good place for a quick cocktail, but I wouldn’t go there for dinner.
Too noisy. Asked them to turn down the music but they did not.
Great food served by an excellent and friendly staff. Restaurant is nice and quiet. Would absolutely eat here again!
My date and I started with the head-on shrimp, which was well-seasoned. We also split the squid ink spaccatelli. The entree of duck breast had a great mandarin sauce, and the rye brownie with the candied walnuts and vanilla bean gelato was a great dessert to share. Our waiter was very warm and had recommendations based on our food preferences. I would highly recommend Bedford & Co to anyone looking for a quiet, inviting spot for a dinner date.
Disappointed. Staff was nice and food was fresh but average flavor. Place was empty and they couldn’t give us customer service. Coffee was cold and they happily replaced it. I had to ask for a refill. They got my order wrong the first time. The second time it was missing an ingredient. Too pricey for this level of service. Much better places around.
Great for a late business lunch sitting at the bar.
Delicious! Enjoyed our artichoke app & the bronzino entree! Can’t wait to go back
Had a great time
Been wanting to try this place for awhile. Food was outstanding . Pancakes were so fluffy!! Only thing was service . Took awhile to be greeted and to get our check but other then that was super great
Great hidden gem. Food is outstanding and the service is great. Love the location.
Previously had a great meal here but noted that it was rather loud. Opted to give it another try and was rewarded with still terrific food and service, with a more acceptable noise level. The bar area is still swinging with lots of people having lots of good fun, but especially the back dining area allowed us to share the vibe while being able to converse better. The whole gestalt is fun and the food (esp. arctic char special) was if anything better than the first time. This is a very handy place to meet people who need to catch a train out of Grand Central to go home.
Friendly staff, great location when meeting people near Grand Central and the food is simple but very very good.
It was delicious af
Food was excellent. Waitress was very nice. Food took way too long. Was there for lunch and it lasted about 2 hours.
While the food was good, the service was unlike anything I've ever seen. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen. It was very difficult to place our lunch order and once food arrived, they never came back to the table to see if we wanted anything else. We would have ordered wine and dessert, but it was impossible to find someone. By the time the waitress came back, we were done with the meal and ready for the check. The service ruined our entire experience and I would not go back or recommend.
They made us wait an hour for our table even though we had a reservation.
The food was delicious, creative -- a little pricey but not at all outrageous. Our waiter was eager and friendly, but service was very slow. The place was having a bad day and someone in management really dropped the ball. Despite the fact that my party had a Sunday Brunch reservation days in advance, we were kept waiting for a table for 45 minutes, while a portion of the restaurant remained empty. Once inside, it was frantic, crazy and noisy - we learned from one of the staff that a party of 70 (!) had booked a baby shower, and it was obvious that the restaurant was not able to handle that along with their regular customers. Tables are close together and we were unfortunate enough to have a noisy bachelorette party adjacent to us.
I had eaten breakfast and lucnh here on two previous occasions and has a very good experience, and I like the dark & cozy atmosphere (it was perfect for a gray NY Sunday afternoon). However, I was really disappointed on this trip.
We loved our dining experience at Bedford and Co. The food was amazing- we shared the 40 oz ribeye between four of us with sides and salads- yum! The service was exemplary as well. Small restaurant ambiance we a relaxed vibe. Would highly recommend Bedford and Co.
Disappointed. The food was average. The server forgot my salad dressing. The menu dis not specify the spaghetti had a meat sauce. I don’t eat meat but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The food took forever to arrived. Apparently the chicken dish takes awhile and we were never told that. The coffee was not fresh. Way too expensive for what you got. Would not go back.
I love the ambience. I feel like dancing while eating my delicious food.
Good food and excellent service. Convenient location to Grand Central and priced right. We will definitely put this on our list for future dining.
Very very noisy place
I work around the corner and never knew of the place. Food was good, vibe was good......the only drawback was that it got noisy when full. Would definitely go back
Nice place and good drinks :(
Wait staff was exceptional
Was a bit warm as one got closer to grill area
This is a terrific place. It's in the Renwick Hotel (also a terrific place) and is stylish, understated and just plain good. Menu is outstanding. Drinks are solid (including a flawless Moscow Mule) served by great bartenders. Highly recommend.
We came for Valentine’s Day but my girlfriend got sick eating the lobster. We had the exact same meal except for the main course where she chose lobster and I chose duck. She got sick and I didn’t.
the food was really good, the service was attentive and a little rushed. Nice place to dine with friends. Unfortunately we were there on Valentine's day so had no option but the prix fixe menu. But everything we ordered was terrific.
Birthday dinner. Had the Branzino and grilled oysters. Both were amazing!
