We loved our dining experience at Bedford and Co. The food was amazing- we shared the 40 oz ribeye between four of us with sides and salads- yum! The service was exemplary as well. Small restaurant ambiance we a relaxed vibe. Would highly recommend Bedford and Co.
Disappointed. The food was average. The server forgot my salad dressing. The menu dis not specify the spaghetti had a meat sauce. I don’t eat meat but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The food took forever to arrived. Apparently the chicken dish takes awhile and we were never told that. The coffee was not fresh. Way too expensive for what you got. Would not go back.
I love the ambience. I feel like dancing while eating my delicious food.
Good food and excellent service. Convenient location to Grand Central and priced right. We will definitely put this on our list for future dining.
Very very noisy place
I work around the corner and never knew of the place. Food was good, vibe was good......the only drawback was that it got noisy when full. Would definitely go back
Nice place and good drinks :(
Wait staff was exceptional
Was a bit warm as one got closer to grill area
We came for Valentine’s Day but my girlfriend got sick eating the lobster. We had the exact same meal except for the main course where she chose lobster and I chose duck. She got sick and I didn’t.
the food was really good, the service was attentive and a little rushed. Nice place to dine with friends. Unfortunately we were there on Valentine's day so had no option but the prix fixe menu. But everything we ordered was terrific.
Birthday dinner. Had the Branzino and grilled oysters. Both were amazing!
Attentive service , food was excellent, in particular the slow-roasted pork—best pork in NY! We were pleased with our experience and will return.
Music was too loud. Food was average
Rigattoni, pulpo, alcachofa, tartara y hamburguesa muy ricas
Fantastic food, great environment, and very friendly service. I'll be going back!
The food more than exceeded expectations. Creative. Delicious. The noise is unbearable.
No one seems to mind, but my party and I do. We had to shout at each other. I just don't like to eat dinner that way.
Service was absolutely terrible. Like, laughable.
love their bottomless brunch. they leave bottles of champagne at the table and have the best mixers - a delicious peach, a mango and a blood orange/mint. The avocado toast is great, and the restaurant week options were also not too bad. The waitress on Sat 1/27 was so attentive and made us laugh as she helped us. This is not my first time here and definitely will not be my last.
Tried most of the items on the restaurant week memu and they were almost all oddly poor.
The roasted sweet potatoes are heavily fried
Above expectations NYC Winter 2018 restaurant week dinner menu: my meal selections were delicious. Excellent tasting slow cooked pork. Thank you, Chef and service staff.
Went for restaurant week 2018 dinner. Food was lacking flavor. Burratta was underseasoned, panna cotta had far too much lime zest but still lacked overall flavor, and brownie was not good enough to bother eating. Entrees— fish stew and roast pork— were pretty good but was disappointed when I learned the server dumped my leftovers rather than packaging to go as I had requested. He made good by telling me the kitchen was making new, but was again disappointed when I got home and saw that all I was given was a meat brick and none of the accoutrements that made the dish yummy—the sauce and the slaw. Oh, well. The $42 nyc restaurant week fee per person was far too much for what we got. Will not go back.
Good food, good service, but the music was deafening. I could understand if I was there late in the evening or on a weekend, but my reservation was 6 pm on a Wednesday.
Good food, very loud and hard to carry on conversation without shouting.
At brunch our waiter delivered attentive, perfectly-timed, professional, friendly service. He was outstanding! We ordered all four pastries. The croissant and pain de chocolate were flaky and buttery. Jalapeño corn muffin was not as good because it was dry. Cinnamon roll was sweet and warm and had pecans and was moderate in size—not as big as my head, which is a good thing. My ‘eggs in purgatory’ were just what I wanted— wood-grilled sourdough bread for dipping into a nicely salted, not-too-rich tomato sauce nestling a couple of eggs on top. Negatives—coffee is weak, music is too loud forcing patrons to be too loud, dimly lit room doesn’t help with menu-reading, and $80 brunch has a real value closer to $50. We know, we live here.
Came here with a client for lunch and had a great time! Both meals were delicious and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Would come back and try happy hour cocktails or brunch.
Excellent food and service. My husband’s pork chop was, he said, one of the best he’s ever had. We used a Travelzoo deal so the pricing was very good. I had the market seafood which was delicately prepared, Asian style. Wonderful squash soup. Ask for a corner booth for two facing the open kitchen—nice vantage point.
Good service. Yum mushroom appetizer and yum pasta. Smore for dessert. Excellent !
One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever enjoyed, the California bowl, along with excellent coffee and excellent service.
It was a nice new years day brunch, maybe just my friend and I . But apple chicken sausages seemed a little too salty. Dinner the night before was great.
Absolutely delicious food! Cozy! Perfect spot for our 8 year anniversary.
The restaurant smelled quite smokey, and our clothes all smelled like smoke because of it. Definitely won't won't go back.
My husband and I had brunch here on a very cold, rainy Saturday before Christmas. It was the perfect place to start our day. The brunch cocktails are delicious and the food was great. I was a little nervous about it being a "hotel restaurant" but my concerns quickly disappeared as soon as we were seated.
Food good , service great, and music atrocious for dinner. CHG MUSIC TO SOMETHING SOOTHING
Very nice, festive restaurant tucked away off of Park Ave on 40th street. Delicious Burrata with a glass of wine.
Our group thought overall it was a good experience. Many came back to the office very full and complimented the menu. However, they waited a long time for their food and the server barely spoke to them the entire time. They mentioned it seemed like they were down a server. However, we usually use this spot for corporate business lunches and it was somewhat of a let down that the service was only average for the environment we were hoping.
We went here for brunch. We made the reservation and had to wait over 20 minutes for the table. Once seated, no one came to take our drink order for 15 minutes. We ran out of water multiple times and were not attended to. The cocktails were great and the food was decent but not over the top great.
Initial experience waiting for the table and trying to close out our tab at the bar wasn't ideal. The hostess kept pressuring us to close out but wouldn't help us get the bartender's attention. Once we were at our table, the food and service were great.
Bedford & Co is a comfortable and friendly environment, with quality food and drink menus worth a returning for.
Terrible. I had a reservation for 5 and I show up and am told that they have a private party and we’ll have to go somewhere else. They said they called but they did not. I would think it would be pretty important to make contact with your reservations and not tell them when they show. This is the middle of holiday season and very hard to get a table for end-of-year meetings and lunches.
