When we got to the restaurant, we were overcome by mostly young children, and folks just off the lifts in ski hats and pants. Unkept and unprofessional . Our server forgot my lobster tail add on and the manager advised us of this at the time our steak was served. He offered a dessert as compensation. We started to eat our steaks. One was cooked properly, One was medium instead of medium rare. All in all, the food and service could have been obtained at Outback for about 130 less. Value to quality, and service is terrible. I will not return.

I am a local, and this was probably the worst dinner I have ever had in the valley. My sons hamburger was well done ( he ordered it medium) our seafood platter was “wet”. It was as if the crab and lobster were sitting in water, not on top of ice.
We had a reservation and walked into a mostly empty restaurant ( only 2 tables of 2 were occupied). The hostess was confused with what table to seat us at. The couple near us had ordered steaks. She ordered hers very well done, she keep sending her steak back because it kept coming out rare. She finally gave up.
This place should close its doors!!

The food was amazing and that’s coming from a chef for 6 Years. Also my friend and I who are both military came in the kitchen closed due to off season it was about 8:30 pm when we came in and the kitchen closed at 8 but the bartender asked the chef if he could cook for us and he said of course that’s what I do which was awesome so thanks for the great and wonderful staff especially the chef and bartender that made the night for us because we didn’t know where else to go at the time and let so thank you so much for everyone at the restaurant it made are night

Vail has a lot of good resturants. The salad was limp and tasteless. The food meat dish took a long time to come and was not cooked as requested. My wife and I left most of the meal on the plate. The desert was good.

Very poor quality food. The salad was wilted and tasteless, the steak was cold, and the dessert was clearly pre-made by the food distributor. Very disappointing for a place with such high prices. Luckily I was there for the Restaurant Week deal, so it wasn’t a total rip-off. Saving graces are the location and great view of the mountain.

The food was delicious. Went during restaurant week. Had a big group come in and the waitress was very “hurried” with us to get back to the group. Other than that very good place.

This was our second trip to Beaver Creek and Chophouse. The food is wonderful and service exceptional. The lobster mac and cheese was tasty and enough for the table to share.

Had a business dinner reservation for 645PM and arrived promptly and immediately ordered. A large group arrived around 715PM. Our entrees finally arrived at 815PM. Lousy service and kitchen delivery.

We each ordered the Petite Filet was $49.00 which were not warm. They were large steaks and very thick, but ordered medium and they were both medium well. The service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. The location is at the bottom of a ski slope and in the Beaver Creek Village. We really enjoyed the village and wanted a good steak. We would select a different restaurant in the future.

The sevice was great as usual. However, we have found the prices rather high for their steak and frankly we are able to purchase a better steak and grill it at home. We will not be going back for steak. We might try something else. Their prices charged are not reflective of the value of the steak served.

Food was pretty mediocre. I started with a smoked salmon plate, which was pretty good.

I ordered the Beef Burger, which was supposedly seared with tallow from a fancy beef cut.

The burger itself was medium-well (I ordered medium), and it wasn't particularly juicy. I thought it was over-priced for what I received.

We had a 6:30 reservation before an 8:00 show at the Vilar and arrived about 6:15/6:20. It took our waitress 15 min to even take drink orders. The kitchen was clearly backed up based on the tables waiting for food around us. At 7:05 I reminded the staff we had an 8:00 and was assured our food would be here in time yet at 7:45 I finally paid the bill and canceled dinner not having eaten our main course. Extremely disappointing as far as service and cook time. We are locals and love to support local business but we won't ever return. Disappointing.

Although this place is known for it's steaks, I opted for the fried chicken dinner. Couldn't have been more impressed! Best fried chicken I've ever had! The mountain views can't be beat as well!

Great location at the base of Beaver Creek ski area looking out right onto the slopes. Great and reasonably priced kids menu . The servers were very nice , but the kitchen was a mess. Overcooked 2 medium rare steaks, one to medium +(we kept this one), the second to almost well and we sent this back as nicely as we possibly could, apologizing to them as we did it. The servers were again great, yet the kitchen obviously did not think it a priority to re-cook this $59 steak, and consequently we did not receive it back until everyone else was done eating and had even waited a while. They did comp this steak at least. Again the wait staff was as nice as can be. Scallops were cold. Salad had brown spots. Bacon Brussels had no bacon and were undercooked and chewy. Restaurant was not busy , so did not understand the issues. I hope this was an aberration and it very well could have been.

Shout out to Parvati, the lovely gal who seated us!

Had an early dinner here with my hubby and daughter. Was seated right away and the server got our drink order right as we sat down. We started with the oysters which were on special and they were very good. My husband and I both ordered steak( petit filet and NY strip). Both were cooked to what we wanted - medium and we shared an order of truffle fries which were delicious. Really nice that they also had a lot of choices on the kids menu. Overall everything was great and would recommend this place.

For a chophouse, they don't serve great steak. My dry aged bone in ribeye was tough and over cooked on outside and rare in inside. My wife's filet was the same. Honesty, I think Outback Steakhouse serves better steak. I know it was dry aged steak, but it wasn't worth the price.

We usually come here every year when we come up for spring break. We haven't been here for a couple of years because we had an infant and this was our first time back. The food was not like it used to be. We came because of the magic show, but the food has definitely fallen short of what it used to be. The only thing that was good was the poutine. The pork chops were dry and tasteless. The rib eye was very poorly under seasoned as was the brussel sprouts. We were extremely disappointed and will no longer be coming here.

At least the third time we've visited. Good food (excellent steaks) and good service. "Value" is questionable but, hey, it's Beaver Creek :-) Great place to take kids, with the table-side magician. Note that he is NOT paid by the restaurant - his only compensation is whatever you tip him.

The location and the fact that this is a steakhouse is enough to recommend it, with qualifications. Our meals were mediocre, and simply not deserving of the pricing that went along with them; the service was fine, but the patter that accompanies the meal was like deja vu from the last 3 or 4 times we've eaten here over the last 5 years or so; the "steakhouse" aspect makes it like "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king"---it is difficult to screw up a steak, if the meat itself is decent, and most of the other restaurants around are even more mediocre.

We have been to the chophouse several times and this was the most disappointing of service and ambience. The food and wine was good. Unfortunately felt like the service was a production line, for a late dinner the lights were too bright during the meal and the noise level was a little high. The biggest disappointment was when we asked if we could take our left overs with us the server simply gave us a cardboard box to box ourselves and then asked if we would like a bag to put the box in. He placed a platstic "grocery" bag on the table. For a higher end dinner, classier service would be nice.

The restaurant is one of the more popular in the Beaver Creek Village. We had a Friday night reservation. Days in advance of our reservation the restaurant appeared to be wide open. It was fully booked that day and diners were turned away until late in the evening.

It's a steakhouse and we had steaks. The steaks arrived over cooked but the server and manager were on top of it. They brought out new perfectly cooked steaks and were fast about it. On top of that, they gave everyone at the table a complimentary dessert. Nice!

It's a bit pricey, but it is what it is. It's in Beaver Creek and everything is pricey in a resort village. If that is a problem for you, you are in the wrong place entirely. I will go back.

My boyfriend and I came here for our Valentine's dinner. I ordered the pork chop and absolutely loved it. My boyfriend got the ribeye and we both agreed it was the best steak either of us had ever tried. I ordered the Woody Creek Peach Mule and enjoyed it so much I came back for another the next day after skiing. While this place is definitely a bit of splurge, it was worth every penny for us. The service was perfectly timed-we never felt like we had to wait too long or like we were being rushed. When our server didn't know about the dessert wines, he brought another person who knew more which we appreciated.
