It was my wife's Lori birthday and I took her there as part of her birthday present. When I first walked into the restaurant, the scenery was awesome. Everything was elegant. The scenic view of the river was breathtaking but the only thing that I would add is lights along the river so the river can be seen at night. After dark the view is pitch dark, the view is gone. Also, I would add that the restaurant should add a celebratory dessert for guests that's there to celebrate birthdays or any other special occasions. I was disappointed when I was told that they didnt offer celebratory desserts.
Great Sunday morning hike along the Cuyahoga River to finish with an outstanding brunch.
Wonderful experience. Celebrated my mother’s birthday with family. Service was exceptional and food and cocktails were memorable. Will return for more!
Great food with a great view! This restaurant is the reason we took a short road trip from Michigan to Cuyahoga Falls. The salmon and filet were delicious as were the sides that accompanied our meals. Well worth it! We’ll be back!
Beautiful area&decor.Enjoyed the scenic water flows. Service was pleasant &very nice.
With maybe 60 years of dining your lobster bisque was the best I've ever eaten, calamari was better than average. The mashed potatoes were very tasty. The main course was not a pleasant experience. My medium rare steak was singed but mostly rare, which I don't mind. But I never had a piece of meat that was worse.Mostly gristle & loaded with fat
along with the toy knives supplied made for a very tough eating experience . Cutting the meat was out of the realm of possibility. It had to be sawed with very poor steak knives I would question approval of this meat vendor. The veggie,I think was 2 slices of half cooked carrots nested in some weed. Maybe this wasn't there to be eaten. I didn't .I may return but never for a steak. John Benko
Excellent food, great service!! Can't wait to come back.
Delicious as always. We go for the lobster bisque and the view. The service was outstanding. I had the Grouper and my husband had the Filet. It was a perfect evening. The menu is smaller due to Covid, but still plenty of options.
Bar seating only was not mentioned in availability due to COVID, speciality dish Sinatra chicken was served with 70% potatoes with a 3oz piece of chicken for $24.95. BTW potatoes were not mentioned on the menu. Flavors were good. Recommend the hummus appetizer. Went to Beau’s grill last week totally awesome.
Ate brunch there on 8/30/20 . Food at the food stations was not hot. Warm. Food ordered through server was hot. Overall everything was very nice.
The atmosphere was great overlooking the river. The food was on time and tasty. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
Half of our dinner we threw away. The potato’s were delicious, but our steaks were just tough and unappetizing.
Excellent view, excellent food, very nice staff. I have already recommended this restaurant to numerous friends.
Great for a date night, we had a table by the window and got to enjoy the view, some nice music in a low light, peaceful atmosphere, food was great. I’d recommend to anyone!
The atmosphere and location is amazing. The steak was way overdone and very dry.
Stay Away. You will be disappointed. Not Fill menu. Staff unattentive. Management not responsive. Worst meal ever.
I had reservations for the restaurant, but due to COVID only the lounge area was open. Much to our pleasure, we were the only couple in the entire lounge. It was a very romantic, private dining experience with awesome views of the river.
I love the outside view of the river. The sound of the river just made the dinner experience that much better.
We got there for our reservation, and they were shut down. They have been shut down for awhile, why was OpenTable making reservations for them?
Not happy at all
Made a reservation And we ended up with rubber steak
Soggy salmon over rice and a horrible salad for 80.00
If restaurant is not open then we should not have been under the assumption it was when it requested a reservation. Not worth $40 a person to eat
Really nice environment with a beautiful view of the river and nice service.
Food was average and some items of the menu were missing; not having bread (rolls, white, brown, etc) in the breakfast/brunch is sad.
We were a little upset by the fact that after making a reservation for a dinner with my wife to celebrate our anniversary and driving an hour to get to the restaurant only to be told the place is closed and we would be seated in the bar. The bar atmosphere was loud and not quite the romantic setting one would want for an anniversary celebration. I guess I am just disappointed that this was not shared at time of reservation so I could have chosen a different place. The menu was very limited as well assuming because it was being served in the bar.
My experience was very good. I had a wonderful time there.
Beau on the river is usually my favorite spot to eat. I decided to take my husband for the fathers day brunch. The food was terrible. Everything was cold. Waffles were old. Eggs over cooked and rubbery. Potatoes not done. Just nothing like I expected. Very over priced for what I ate. They dropped the ball on the brunch.
Scrambled eggs were cold. Potatoes were not cooked all the way through. Definitely not worth the amount of money for this buffet.
You should make this optional, for those who do not care to type.
Normally their food is amazing and high quality; however with an extremely limited menu due to the Covid situation we were very disappointed ☹️ Service was still good though!
The service was great and we loved the bottomless mimosas. The view is beautiful. They only offer a buffet and the selection was a bit odd. We ordered the made to order omlettes and the outsides were very well done and the inside was under-cooked.
I absolutely love the brunch buffet here & bring friends/family whenever I can. The food is abundant, rich, decadent, flavorful & there's a large variety --something for everyone. We came during the Covid pandemic. Even though it was a limited menu & space, the food was great! One of my guests has an extreme seafood allergy & they accomodated her very well. Only criticisms i could say was that the prime rib was on the cooler side even though we got there as soon as they opened. However, I understand because there were only a few people, so it sat under the warming light for a while rather than being consumed quickly. Our server, Courtney, had a kind disposition, but was not knowledgeable about things we asked about. She continued to say, "This is my first day back, so I don't know." I get that you may not know somethings, but as a server & one that's been off for a while, I would get updated on what is currently going on-site especially given the Covid situation. If you didn't know, then go find out & let your patrons know. Overall, she was pleasant & tended to our needs. My guests were very happy with the overall experience! I look forward to when things go back to some semblance of normalcy & we can enjoy the full brunch buffet!
We were the first guests at re-opening...for breakfast. Given the health guidelines, the breakfast menu was limited, but nice choices. The food came exactly as ordered, and the service was great !!
Great service and tasty meal with wonderful views and peaceful music.
Very disappointing we drove 3 and a 1/2 hours after having reserved for a week and a 1/2 for 28th wedding anniversary and says nothing on website or when you book outside on the deck make a change to website let everybody know that you're not serving in the restaurant.
Planned and booked on OpenTable. When we arrived, it seemed like there was a confusion about whether pr not dinner can be served. We ended up not having food since the kitchen was closed.
Great brunch and wonderful setting. Good variety of selections. Lots of seafood choices....salmon, oysters, shrimp and cocktail sauce, and anchovies on the salad bar. Could have had mushrooms on the omelette bar but this was our first visit so they may have had them other times. The bloody mary bar looked wonderful even though we didn't partake. Servers and other staff were exceptional. Desserts were delicious. We will go back again, worth the $26 price.
The View was awesome. We had one of the most outstanding waitresses I've ever had in my life. Keep up the good work!
Daughter home from college
Fabulous place for brunch. Wonderful view of Cuyahoga River.
Took my mom out for her 68th birthday never been here before. Had reservations was greeted and told will be about ten minutes wait. After ten minutes were were seated waited about 15 minutes for server to take drink order. Awful attitude and was very short like she did not want to be there. After about 45 minutes finally took our food order. When food came out she brought our food pieces to the table one by one and left my main dish at the service table and walked away. So my main dish was sitting there she actually forgot to bring it I was completely amazed. So I got up and got it myself. The food was excellent but the service sucked and the reason why I believe the place was dead for 7:00 on a Friday night I will never go back
We picked thus restaurant because it sounded goid and by the river. We were in from put of town and on our way to a concert. The waitress was really excellent and very professional. Helpful with recommendations. I would recommend a mellow music because it really feels like a sophisticated restaurant. The music was more top 40. The food was excellent. Raw tuna, salad and delicious salmon. We never felt rushed.
Love brunch at Beau's! Great view, good food, good service! It is a tad pricey, so I do NOT recommend taking children.
Not the usual experience at Beau’s. Took our server 10 minutes to come to our table once we were seated. It was so loud from the guy singing in the bar. The music was also playing in the speakers above us so we had 2 songs going. The scallops dish was disappointing. 3 scallops. We only go there for the lobster bisque. Won’t visit again for a while.
