We go to Beau's about once a year. We actually like the new prime rib brunch buffet set up much better, food is fresher when you order ala carte, safer, and much less waiting in line. We recommend Beau's often to our friends and family for the Sunday brunch.
Great food, good views, service could be improved.
This was our first time at Beau's. We received great, fast service. Food was delicious!
The food just was not that good. Meat was tough and food was not seasoned. Service was great though.
We came into Beau’s on New Years Eve at 2pm to have lunch with my family. We got to the door and the restaurant was closed even though Open Table and The website specifically outlined the New Year’s Eve hours. With the restaurant being closed we opted for the lounge which was ran by one woman. It wasn’t super busy but it wasn’t slow either. We sat down and waited for about 5 minutes before we were greeted and the server seemed super rushed. We put in an order for a bottle of wine and ordered a couple drinks and water and waited for those as she ran around. Our server stopped over a few times to let us know someone was searching for the wine we ordered and then walked away. We finally put in an order for food and waited, and waited, and waited. I ended up canceling the wine with the bartender even though we had waited and paid a sitter to take our kid in order to have a night out. After about 55 minutes of waters sitting on our table I canceled everything and we left. Honestly this had to be the worst waste of money we’ve spent and we didn’t even pay anything but he baby sitter. We were thrilled to have some time away from life and we chose Beau’s because it’s supposed to be top notch but unless something changes we will not be returning for any type of business.
Walked in having a 6:30 reservation, but quickly realized because of very few people in the restaurant we were able to sit wherever we wanted. A waitress came over right away and brought menus with her. We asked her for the happy hour menu/drink list which she handed us immediately, but then she disappeared and never returned to our table. We looked around and found her engaged in a lengthy conversation with, who we presumed to be a regular male customer, and she continued talking to him at his table.
My wife and I, after waiting a solid 12-15 minutes, decided to get up from our table in the dining area and seated ourselves at the bar. This was the best decision we could have made, because the male bartender was excellent and treated us very well. His service, our entrees and overall experience (once we moved to the bar) was very enjoyable and excellent. So glad we decided to move from our table to the bar.
Note- Our original waitress never took the time to apologize to us!
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Awful food !! Not well prepared and no flavor.
Wonderful experience! Excellent food and service.
It’s been a long time since we’ve been here for Brunch and we realize COVID has changed everything, but it wasn’t good. There is no buffet of course, rather the server has to explain and bring everything. She did a good job. That being said we were quite disappointed in our experience for what we paid.
The menu was very, very limited. You have a selection of about six “starters” that you can see are already plated (small plastic catering plates) sitting off to the side to dry out. The shrimp cocktail was good but the rest was meh. Eggs anyway you like them, bacon or sausage. The menu said “selection of breakfast breads and sweets”. All they had was corn bread or toast. Otherwise there were cheese blintzes, prime rib and a fish selection. That’s it! The prime rib was cold and the coffee was warm at best.
No vegetables, salads or other side dishes (as in “brunch”). The tomato juice was good though...nice and cold!
Certainly not at all worth $26 pp. We won’t be back.
The food was amazing but our service was not very good. Not sure why because the restaurant was not busy at all.
Server’s mask was always down. Had to remind her to put it back up. Outdoor dining was not available even on a warm day like yesterday as they said that they closed outdoor dining. Would have been nice if they mentioned that on their website. Other than that every thing else was good.
Food was tasteless. Salad over dressed. Service was great. Great view but you can't see it at night. Also if you sit by the windows, bring a wrap or jacket as it is very cold.
The restaurant was closed with no indication from OpenTable. Fortunately, the bar was open and there were very few people.
The best thing about this restaurant is by far the ambiance. Being able to see the River is wonderful. Service at the restaurant is first rate.
Excellent ambiance, service, chef’s food, wine choice. Great way in celebrating our anniversary.
View was obviously amazing food was very mediocre. Ordered a filet and it was cooked very uneven. Half was well done half was medium when I ordered it medium. The amount of food you get for $50 is VERY minimal. Staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere was great.
Good spot for date night. Rooms with a river view are nice to stay in for the night. Dinner was good - their Mozzarella sticks are the best in town.
I loved it it was only one server so it took a while but it was beautiful view. Food was ok
The food, ambience and service were exemplary. I would recommend this place to everyone I know!
Waitress was very attentive and our food came out quickly and it was very tasty.
The food was good, not great. Way overpriced with a limited menu. The waiter was excellent and the view was amazing. I don't think we'll be back unless they make it a little more affordable. $150 bill for 2 people was expected, but the food should have been on par with that price point. It was not.
Beau’s is a terrific place for an exceptional meal!
It was my wife's Lori birthday and I took her there as part of her birthday present. When I first walked into the restaurant, the scenery was awesome. Everything was elegant. The scenic view of the river was breathtaking but the only thing that I would add is lights along the river so the river can be seen at night. After dark the view is pitch dark, the view is gone. Also, I would add that the restaurant should add a celebratory dessert for guests that's there to celebrate birthdays or any other special occasions. I was disappointed when I was told that they didnt offer celebratory desserts.
Overall it was a nice experience. However the menu was very small and our server didn't have much personality. Overall it was okay. But for $90+ dinner for two I expected to be wowed.
We also did breakfast the next morning. I cannot recommend breakfast here. The eggs and bacon tasted obviously cooked earlier and left in a warming bin. Very rubber and dissatisfied.
Great Sunday morning hike along the Cuyahoga River to finish with an outstanding brunch.
Wonderful experience. Celebrated my mother’s birthday with family. Service was exceptional and food and cocktails were memorable. Will return for more!
Great food with a great view! This restaurant is the reason we took a short road trip from Michigan to Cuyahoga Falls. The salmon and filet were delicious as were the sides that accompanied our meals. Well worth it! We’ll be back!
Beautiful area&decor.Enjoyed the scenic water flows. Service was pleasant &very nice.
With maybe 60 years of dining your lobster bisque was the best I've ever eaten, calamari was better than average. The mashed potatoes were very tasty. The main course was not a pleasant experience. My medium rare steak was singed but mostly rare, which I don't mind. But I never had a piece of meat that was worse.Mostly gristle & loaded with fat
along with the toy knives supplied made for a very tough eating experience . Cutting the meat was out of the realm of possibility. It had to be sawed with very poor steak knives I would question approval of this meat vendor. The veggie,I think was 2 slices of half cooked carrots nested in some weed. Maybe this wasn't there to be eaten. I didn't .I may return but never for a steak. John Benko
Excellent food, great service!! Can't wait to come back.
Delicious as always. We go for the lobster bisque and the view. The service was outstanding. I had the Grouper and my husband had the Filet. It was a perfect evening. The menu is smaller due to Covid, but still plenty of options.
Bar seating only was not mentioned in availability due to COVID, speciality dish Sinatra chicken was served with 70% potatoes with a 3oz piece of chicken for $24.95. BTW potatoes were not mentioned on the menu. Flavors were good. Recommend the hummus appetizer. Went to Beau’s grill last week totally awesome.
Ate brunch there on 8/30/20 . Food at the food stations was not hot. Warm. Food ordered through server was hot. Overall everything was very nice.
The atmosphere was great overlooking the river. The food was on time and tasty. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
Half of our dinner we threw away. The potato’s were delicious, but our steaks were just tough and unappetizing.
Excellent view, excellent food, very nice staff. I have already recommended this restaurant to numerous friends.
Great for a date night, we had a table by the window and got to enjoy the view, some nice music in a low light, peaceful atmosphere, food was great. I’d recommend to anyone!
The atmosphere and location is amazing. The steak was way overdone and very dry.
Stay Away. You will be disappointed. Not Fill menu. Staff unattentive. Management not responsive. Worst meal ever.
I had reservations for the restaurant, but due to COVID only the lounge area was open. Much to our pleasure, we were the only couple in the entire lounge. It was a very romantic, private dining experience with awesome views of the river.
