Romantic River views with a special Valentine's Day Menu

We love Beau’s on the River. Best Lobster Bisque. The service is always great. The view of the River is romantic.
Venue was surprisingly empty for a Friday evening. Service was expedient and food was hit or miss. Meat was prepared well, do not recommend pasta dishes - little to no flavor in pasta/sauces. Greatness place for a change of scenery but will likely be a one and done.
Certainly not Beau’s from the Valley on Meriman Rd. Why? Because Beau is not the Chef. The menu is all the favorites from there, with poor cooks, poor waiters, poor management. I experienced the same at the Hilton across from Summit Mall Akron, although service was a bit better. Melany, the bartender is a diamond & has been with Beau from the beginning. I am happy for you Beau, but seriously, these restuarants do not deserve your name. Disappointed on 3 major occasions. Cook added much grease on the plates w/homemade mozzerella sticks, dinners brought by management luke warm. I had lamb chops, friend had salmon. Continued begging for water. Water tastes amazing! Waiter seemed to throw our checks at us & had to beg 2or 3 times for proper to-go containers. You used to be 5 star, or more! Brought you many families along the way, & ourselves eating in Valley 2,3,4 times a week! Now, maybe a 3 star, depending on what you order. Very sad for us. Not willing to pay the prices with you anymore, unfair. No, we didn’t complain. It is what it is
Enjoyed every minute.
Very overpriced for food that was below average. Nice view but not worth the price.
This was a New Years visit. On New Years you expect a limited menu. The menu was anything but limited; so many great choices. Food was delicious. Great seats by the river. Always difficult if not impossible to judge a restaurant based on a visit on New Years, but they did a great job.
Reservation was for 615; never able to check out until 940p. Ordered Cabernet, Chardonnay delivered. Ordered tuna steak, stroganoff delivered. Ordered peppermint ice cream, peach sober delivered. Took a very long time to get anything when asked, including the check. Waitress had too many tables to take care of, one including a large party that was not in the near vicinity. Food is always good here but service was not up to usual standards. Realizing it was New Year’s Eve, we didn’t make a big deal of anything but it did start to become almost comical because nothing seemed to come out correctly.
Our server, Matt, was helpful and attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu options, and was very friendly. The food was delicious.
Great food ,service and ambiance.
Very enjoyable evening.
the food was just ok ... my filet was too charred for my liking, the vegetables weren’t cooked hardly at all and my potatoes were cold ... it could have just been one of those days, I guess ... but their mozzarella sticks were amazing, though!
great food. it would be nice if lights were on the falls.
Buffet very underwhelming and a poor value for the price
Came on a Tuesday night for a romantic dinner, not busy, therefore perfect conversing setting. Service was good, no wait. Food and wine were amazing though plastic was in my wine.
Otherwise, a wonderful place! 9/10 would recommend.
Great for a date!
Service was extremely slow despite there being very few people in the restaurant. 30 minutes to bring dessert kind of slow.
My boyfriend and I have been on separate work schedules and it’s been hard to find time together. We planned a date night at Beau’s and weren’t impressed. There was a large table of gentleman about 20 feet from us, but it was just about all we heard. The view from our seats was really nice, and it was nice having a section to ourselves, but the group was very loud. I got the lobster bisque -the only reason food got a good rating- and my boyfriend got the lamb dinner. It was heavily indeed cooked. The outside of the fingerling potatoes were hard to even chew or bite into. The pierogies we got as an appetizer were dry.
Wasn’t worth what we paid.
Food was great.. I felt like service was very slow.
Sooo disappointed! I made reservations with open table for a table with a view for a birthday lunch. We traveled an hour and a half and arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and found that they were only seating in the lounge/bar area and we found it to be very full and then we found our table with a view wasn't even in the main lounge area but just outside with a view of the stairway and hallway. We decided on the buffet instead of sandwiches - that was another mistake. There was still an hour remaining in the 2 hr buffet and all the main entrees were empty...we waited 15 minutes and went back after our salads and they did refill. The meatloaf was over spiced with sage and the mushroom ravioli was yuck. Mashed potatoes were good. We were offered cheesecake or tiramisu and we ordered tiramisu and the waiter came back and said they were out-par for the course and we just decided to call it a day with Beaus...we won't go back! I've had lunch at nice restaurants...should have hit one of the bars in the area and enjoyed the food.
Great food, Courtney was our server and she was awesome! Gave us a couple suggestions, salmon and lamb were perfect!
We were celebrating our 39th anniversary the atmosphere was romantic watching the water flow over the rocks, the drinks were well-made the food was delicious, we were treated wonderfully. I highly recommend this for special occasions
IT WAS A WONDERFUL EVENING AND MEAL, SERVICE WAS GREAT, SMALL PLATES, APPS AND DESSERT WERE WONDERFUL. OUR ONLY CRITICISM IS THERE IS NO LIGHTING ON THE WATER TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE FALLS AT NIGHT. SINCE THIS IS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTED QUALITIES THE RESTAURANT BOASTS ABOUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY WOULD IMPROVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE IT AFTER THE SUN GOES DOWN.
Great place for lunch. Mozzarella sticks outstanding as well as the lobster bisque soup.
Setting is beautiful. Food not great and high prices
Was ok not great
Great food. Great view and great service every time.
I am so happy I chose this place for a first date.
I chose this Beau’s based on pictures I saw on the internet - it looked like a nice atmosphere with scenic views & the food looked decently priced. I was very happy with everything, including how wonderful everything on the menu looked and how what I tried tasted. If I come back to town, I’d come here again & I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
I've lived in the area for years and have only now eaten at Beau's. The menu choices were varied enough to please all/any diners. And the wine list was perfect. This meal was for a special occasion and the servers were excellent and made us feel special. We had crab cake appetizer - excellent flavor and good portion size, just enough to split and not get too full. I had the lamb shank and she had the steak - both were cooked perfectly and the sides on the dish were different from any other restaurant in the area. Different enough to make the plate a little adventurous and add a unique flavor. Aside from the food, it was great to be able to go upstairs to the hotel's main floor and enjoy some live music (dinner club type with a band and lady singer) and some drinks at the bar.
Awesome place. Service was great. Amazing views. Would highly recommend.
Came here for sweetest day..found it online..very friendly lovely views. .something at each price range for food...I had 2 small plates...new Zealand lamb...and shrimp and grits...my guy got the daily catch,swordfish..we had pierogies appitizer... peanutbutter pie dessert
Our only complaint is, we had reserved a particular table and when it came time to seat us they refused our request.
They said the waitress at that section was too busy:(
Waitress did a great job. Bread, lobster bisque and calamari was excellent. We had 2 fish entrees. Crust on fish was way too hard and greens were flavorless. French fries were good but the fish was so-so. (Fish n chips) Peanut butter pie was really good. The apple dessert was a bit burned. In spite of the entrees being below average, we enjoyed the evening. We had a great view, a friendly waitress and great appetizers.
A very beautiful setting overlooking the Cuyahoga Falls, though it would be even more pleasant in the evening if there were some dramatic lighting focused on the falls themselves. My guest is handicapped and that was addressed by a lift to a lower level of the multi-tiered restaurant.
The White French dressing on the Wedge Salad was excellent in the 'Champagne dressing' tradition, and my guest thoroughly enjoyed the small plate portion of Salmon.
There were four of us and we all had great food and drinks. Matt was a wonderful server and made our dinner even more delightful.
Perfect for a special birthday brunch. Food was delicious and the view was beautiful. Hidden gem in Cuyahoga Falls to enjoy for Sunday brunch.
The food was wonderful! Mussels were on the house due to sitting for 15 minutes before a server asked for our drink order - it turned out to be miscommunication between hostess and server. Manager very friendly and made up for it. However, service was still slow and we had to ask for help twice, as our server seemed to be busy elsewhere. Overall, we recommend this restaurant and will be returning.
Received a gift card for Beau’s and can’t believe I have never been here. Great menu variety. Gluten Free items labeled. Creative upscale food choices. Like how they also have small plates in addition to appetizers and regular dinners. Great service, drink menus, views. Inside oh Sheraton. Will definitely be back.
Spectacular service and cuisine. And of course the magnificent scenery. What a find on our road trip!!! Definitely plan on a return visit.
Great view, exceptional service, excellent food, and easy to find. I enjoyed my salmon dinner immensely. Highly recommend.
We had a large party to celebrate my husbands birthday and while the restaurant and view were absolutely beautiful, we were very disappoimted in the service we received. The servers were not doing a great job of drink refills etc, and on three occasions we had to ask for rolls to be brought to the table after we ordered our meals. It felt
As though since they already knew gratuity would be included in the bill because of the large party, they didn’t really care to provide exceptional service. While I would like to go back because the scenery was so beautiful, I would not recommend reserving a space for a large party.
