Casual dining in a fun atmosphere. The food was excellent!
Fish Taos tortillas were stale/unheated however otherwise fine.
Great staff, great service and great food. Always consistent
The receptionist and waiter were exceptionally pleasant. We had a good experience.
I love the food and the drinks. It was also reasonably priced and everyone who worked there was accommodating and friendly.
Great experience. Nice casual dining in a fun atmosphere with great music and delicious fresh food options
I rarely comment on restaurant experiences. But here the service was so bad I feel compelled to do so. Our waiter Taylor forgot our order. But rather than own that fact he sauntered over 30-35 minutes after we ordered to "clarify" what we ordered to ensure the kitchen didn't get "confused." So we got our entrees 50 or so minutes after ordering them. One of the three dishes had apparently been ready for a while so it was lukewarm when we got it. Had the food been excellent, or just good, perhaps it would have taken some of the sting out of the wait. But the food was poor.. The fish tacos were over-cooked. The risotto was tasteless and gloppy. I am mystified as to why the restaurant gets good reviews. Perhaps we caught them on a (colossally) bad day. But I won't be returning anytime soon, particularly given that La Jolla has so many (vastly) better dining options.
We made a last minute reservation for Sunday brunch. The food was very good. They have several choices of unique mimosa flavors! Pineapple orange zest was delicious as was my blue crab Benedict. Very busy and a bit loud but definitely worth another visit.
Highly recommend!
Food was better than average, but the service was slow and I had to ask twice for a straw.
Music way too loud. Service was spotty. We go here often, but this time was not as good as all the others.
Wonderful experience. Great vibe, great service, & fabulous food! We all said we would definitely be back!
Will be back, tried because of restaurant week. Because you want more characters to this review...
Went for SD restaurant week! Great deal and food was amazing!
The welcoming at the door was friendly and sincere, the wait staff excellent, the variety of small and large plates was good and our choices for four of us were all excellent, the live music was “not too loud but loud enough”, conversation at a table for four was easy even though it is a lively place....will look forward to going back!
I eat here ALL THE TIME!!! LOVE THE PLACE...If I had a choice, it would be Beaumont's hands down.
Very enjoable
Everything was fine. We felt a little pricey and a very limited dinner menu. Nothing that really "knocked our socks off" as far as food. Wait staff was attentive.
Great for honoring a special request. Our server was the best.
Beaumont burger is the best burger in town
Wonderful brunch/lunch with dear old friends at a big booth in the back, waitress was responsive, food was delicious....lovely afternoon.
We are regular diners at Beaumont’s. The food and music here is always great.
We had a great time. The food was delicious and our server was super nice.
Great Chef Great Choices
Birthday dinner
Food was very bland and menu was uninteresting. The restaurant has to come up with some new dishes..
Yummy hamburger! And crisp fries. We ate outside in the evening. Delightful!
Beaumont's is our family's favorite brunch spot in San Diego. The food and drinks are always amazing (especially the famous coast toast!!). Bonuses: they have live music sometimes on the weekends and the staff is always so friendly. I can't say enough good things. Beaumont's is highly underrated!
Great ambiance. Loved the food. Definitely would go here again.
Beautiful restaurant week 3 course meal.
I have severe food allergies and as I told my waiter he went to check with the chef. The choices for entries was limited as told by the manager, so I decided on the soup and salad. There was a arugula salad which sounded good with strawberry goat cheese and almonds. I had about 3 almonds in the whole salad and hardly any goat cheese with strawberries so small and overripe maybe five of those. They really skimped on the ingredients and I was disappointed. The arugula was very wet and I was allergic also to vinegars and spices so I asked for another dressing without pepper also In it. The waiter wasn't too accommodating. But tried. I ended up with olive oil and lemon which made the salad even more wet and since it was my main entree it was very soggy. I then asked for bread to help soak up the wet salad. I was very disappointed. The corn soup was good and I should of had 3 more bowls of that. Husband had the flank steak on the $30 restaurant week menu. He said it was tough, stringy and had little taste. It was served Luke warm and was not even cooked enough. We took the chocolate cake home. When he got home he opened the box and the cake was In pieces like they just threw it in the box. He said It wasn't that good either. The menu sounded good but when the manager came to tell me what I couldn't eat he was condescending and acted like it was my fault. Saying he couldn't shut down the grill just to cook me something. I wasn't asking for that. Just to wipe down a small Little space to avoid an allergy to pepper and spice from Contacting my food. Waiter never came back to see or ask if everything was ok. Hardly saw him after I asked for bread. We will Never go back there! I could put up With bad food but treating us that way was unacceptable! The only nice persons there were the hostess and a bus boy!
We've been there several times. It's always fun. Great music. The artichoke was slightly burnt but otherwise the rest of the food was good.
I Came to see the band perform this last past Saturday 9/9/17 this Band ROCKED !!! This was amazing to see the people enjoying the music. Atmosphere was great food was good ! Loved this live band 👏🏽
Great find. The food was amazing. The crunchy korean bbq salmon was the best!
Service was excellent.
Food seems over priced for the quality. Had a birthday request but the staff didn't do anything special
I eat there so often, I don't write a review every time.
Here's my simple review from the other night. Always the best! Always my first choice!
We loved Beaumont's. It came highly recommended by some friends and totally delivered. Great food and vibe. We'll go back the next time we're in La Jolla.
Nice village bistro. Had lunch here and the service was very good and the food was also very good.
My entree (The Fresh Catch) was delicious. My husband felt that his salmon was nothing special. The kids meals could have been better. The kid's pizza did not look appetizing. The service was a little slow. We opted for dessert elsewhere.
Not impressed... The food was okay... Would've been all good but they served my boy who is allergic to peanuts, a mexican hot chocolate with peanuts and cayenne pepper in it instead of just a kids hot chocolate.
The hostesses were helpful and answered my questions with urgency.
After our rush to pay so we can go to the emergency room, the waiter says, get this, "Enjoy the rest of your night!"
