Beaumont's Ratings and Reviews
I meet a friend here for lunch every month or so and have been happy with the choice. However this time the food really wasn't very good which was a surprise since numerous other lunches it has been good. I had the turkey sandwich which I normally have but it was not good at all. Salad was so stringy that I could hardly get it on my fork. I took home half my sandwich and it was not worth eating later that evening.
My husband and love Beaumont's. We have been there many times for dinner and late night drinks, and we enjoy the live music. The service, food and ambience have always been great, so we decided to try Sunday brunch. While the live music and food were wonderful, unfortunately, the service was lacking. Our waitress didn't even look our way for 10 minutes, and she waited on 2 parties that showed up after us before the hostess had to tell her to serve us. We ordered our food right away before those same 2 parties, but they received their food well before us. It was really disappointing because we love Beaumont's so much, and we will definitely go back but not for the brunch.
Reserved a table for 8. They sat us under the air conditioner and it was too cold for us all. I asked politely if they could turn it off the hostess lady said no. I asked to be moved they said no. I even said we really only needed a table for 6 and they said all the other tables were reserved. She then said they could turn it off. It never turned off so we stood up and left. There was plenty room to be moved. The restaurant was 50% occupied they were just rude. Won't attempt to go back to this place.
This was a great spot to have a wonderful Father's Day brunch! The manager was very friendly and hospitable and we enjoyed our grilled chicken sandwiches and the generous servings of greens that came with them. The desserts were also great! The Bon bons and vanilla ginger creme brûlée were very tasty. Two thumbs up to Beaumont's!
I was there for a casual business lunch on a Saturday. I and my out of town/out of country guests were dressed down. Nice, relaxing scene, good food and service. The one negative, not necessarily the fault of the restaurant, was a group of local young women in the booth next to us who were a bit loud, and liberally spicing their conversation with profanities. It was distracting, both for me and my guests. I guess this is what the local scene is today, but I will remember next time to ask to be seated away from crude people, if they can be identified, or find somewhere less local.
A friend recommended Beaumont's to my family and now we recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place to eat with great food! Personally, we love the "The Coaster" (on the breakfast menu) but, honestly, everything looks great! It's located perfectly in birdrock so enjoy a meal then a nice walk down to the ocean. Cute patio, great service, fun ambiance and wonderful food! Go enjoy!
We definitely will return. My wife said best chilequiles she's ever had and I had the best chili relleno. The group was pretty happy with their choices. I believe it as Julie and a new wait staffer Stacy who took care of the six of us. They were wonderful!! And should be told also
We went on Mother's Day so I can understand that it's busy and noisy. Our service was slow and inconsistent (again, understandable to a point). The food was disappointing. My wife's crab BLT tasted fishy and the cheddar biscuits as the base of my Benedict were dry and bland as was the dish as a whole.
Service was very quick, but they also knew how to keep their distance, which I appreciated since my date and I were able to maintain a conversation. It was a very cozy atmosphere, with music playing quietly in the background. The food was very good and I would definitely be visiting again!
Beaumont's staff is well-trained, pleasant & attentive. Their menu allows for a casual meal, such as a salad or burger, to a full multi-course dinner. The flat Iron steak I ordered was done perfectly & I loved the accompanying very crisp potatoes We were there for an early Sunday dinner when there was no live music but we will return to enjoy that offering in the near future. Another big bonus--we got a parking spot right in front of the restaurant!
Good food and good service. Went there for Sunday brunch. Waitress/bar tender was very patient as we took our time deciding what to order and she offered her thoughts on the menu. We had a nice leisurely meal -- food came out quick but we were not rushed at all. Chicken quesadilla was really good but large enough to share. Would recommend for sure.
It was easy to make reservations for a Saturday Brunch time. Our waitress was outgoing, friendly and accommodated all our requests. The breakfast selections were all good as were the Brunch drinks. Inside tables are good for conversation and we were not pressured to leave having been there for 2.5 hours. Parking on the street can be minimal, but there are lots of options on side streets.
My Fiancée and I frequent this restaurant as its the location of our first date. This last visit was the worst by far. Even though we made a reservation well in advance, we were seated at the worst table. Our server would go missing for extended periods of time. The food was served cold and the portions were so small. The noise level was absurd. Might be time to find a new place.
Food was excellent and ambiance has that neighborhood flavor. Even the band was good and considerate of the dinner crowd with their music. The problem was some of the people were very loud and at times annoying. The server could have been a little more attentive but nothing real bad. Overall, had a good time.
We have dined at Beaumont's more times than I can count over the 10 years they have been our Neighborhood Gem! Halloween is always a super fun night!! Costume contest, great music, & specialty cocktails! Dave, Gavin and the rest of the staff always make us feel special! And once again we received the Best Costume Award! 🎃
This place is great for date night if you want to avoid tourists. It's a nice little hole in the wall with great ambiance. Love the live bands, just wish it wasn't quite so loud so you could still hear the person right next to you. Loved the brussel sprouts, flank steak, and the burgers, but would highly recommend steering far away from the scallops. Too plain and chewy. Service was sub par. Would definitely come back though! Nice little getaway for a date night.
We absolutely loooove coming to Beaumonts. It's our favorite spot on the week ends. I come all the way from north county. The staff is absolutely the best, so friendly and they truly go out of their way to make our night the best. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Thank you Beaumonts for all the fun. The food is great!
