My coffee came out lukewarm and had to be remade. Pancakes not properly cooked. I’ve had three pancakes dozens of times and this is the first time they came was very soft in the middle.
The food was great and the server was friendly and knowledgeable!
I can’t wait to come back! I’ve been here multiple times on multiple trips to the city and it was amazing each time. Try the lemon pancakes- you won’t be disappointed! Our server was kind and attentive.
I asked my in-laws and mom to drive in to meet us at Beatrix the night before our baby shower. Even though we were there early and had a reservation at 8pm, we weren't seated until 8:40pm. Our parents had to drive 90 minutes back home very late at night. There was no explanation other than "these people won't get up". The food was good but I would never plan an important dinner there again.
My girlfriend and I eat here often.
We especially love the salads, burger and today the pomegranate/ginger/pineapple drink - yum :).
My husband (and his walker) was going to have trouble getting into the restaurant from the Galter lobby. The restaurant sent some one to escort us so that we avoided going through the party in their"party room". After we were seated , my husband looked ill and I thought we would have to go back to the ER that we had just left. The manager went and found a wheelchair in case he didn't recover. Through it all the staff never made us feel that we were extra trouble! We thanked them but, please thank them again.

Food was excellent as well as the service but with a reservation I expected a seat that was not next to the kitchen.
Food was very tasty. But the Resturant is very drafty. The noise level is too high given that they play the music loud in addition to the restaurant being sort of a walkway to hospital. That means diners, non-diners and music all compete creating an unusually loud dining spot.
Good but they don’t substitute like the other lettuce restaurants.
Excellent breakfast
I have been a regular to Beatrix-Streeterville since it opened. The management, wait- and kitchen-staff have not only met but most often exceeded my expectations for good quality and well prepared food and service. They go the extra mile to meet my dietary meeds and most often are agreeable to the substitutions or other modifications to my food preparations and selections. The seasonal soups, straight “A” salad and most of the entree selections are my favorites for lunch as well as dinner.
The food was great, service also, however, there seemed to be a lack of space for items like coats and umbrellas. We had to hang our coats on the back of our chairs. which caused problems. A simple coat rack would solve this issue.
The problem was that I had to store my umbrella and a book that I received at our dinner, in the pockets of my coat. Our table of 11 had no extra space to spare. To place the book on the table would have meant that it would have been in the next person's plate. I had to get up to relieve a leg cramp and when I sat back down, i brushed the seat of my chair with my leg which, unknowing to me fell over backward. I sat down on the floor. The chairs are not well balanced to start with and when you have to hang your heavy winter coat on the back of it, it becomes very top heavy and unstable... let alone if you have to store anything additional in the coat pockets.
My salad made of high quality food and was healthy and delicious!
Enjoyed a wonderful brunch there. Outstanding.
I guess they forgot it was my birthday..
All good. Server was less good than others.
Great! Food and service were good.
Beatrix is a go-to spot for us. The service is always great and the food never disappoints! We will continue coming back and have recommended to many of our friends and family.
Promotion celebration
The waffles are the bomb. The fresh squeezed was fresh! Service was excellent. Highly recommend. Will be back!
We had a wonderful time with friends we hadn’t seen for a while. We were able to sit, eat and talk comfortably.
Wonderful lunch. The food was amazingly good. The service was excellent. Our choices were explained well & we did not wait long to receive our food. I plan to eat there again when I return to Chicago.
The service was terrible. Our server ignored us and we sat in front of our plates for 30 minutes before they cleared it and brought our check. My client ordered soup and they didn't bring a spoon, it took us five minutes to flag someone down to bring it. The food was marginal at best, not up to standards for this restaurant chain.
We have always loved Beatrix and even had my bridal shower there, but tonight we received truly terrible service. I joined my party late and our waiter never came by to take my drink order or check on our food after it arrived. We didn't even have water to drink. I finally managed to flag down our waiter to request water but despite my request to bring water, he never brought it. I finally got a 2nd person to help but by that time we were done eating. Additionally, I was served spoiled mayonnaise and when I talked to the manager I was told that it is made that way. I know it isn't because I order burgers there regularly and always get the mayo. Neither the waiter nor the manager tried to make the poor experience better even though it was highlighted to them - they clearly do not respect or appreciate our business and made that known. This is not the way to keep repeat customers.
They need to get their reservation system working more effectively. I had a reservation for noon for a work lunch and was not sat until 12:20.
Despite having a reservation had to wait 35 minutes for a tables
Beatrix is my "go to" when I'm downtown or nearby. I have had great meals and experiences at every location with every visit. Saturday night
at the St. Claire location was great from the moment we sat down until we left.
Brunch menu is interesting. Food is well-prepared and nicely presented. Burger was very good; quinoa cakes with eggs were excellent. Drinks took too long to arrive and were the least interesting part of the meal - one was like a weak chocolate soda; the other mango-based fizz was very bland.
Very inventive menu. Everything was very well prepared. A most pleasant brunch experience.
Reservations are never accurate, not sure why you make so many during the lunch hour. We waited for over 20 mins for a table.
We had lovely meal. The Chicken Bebe was particularly good, as was the chocolate cake.
My mom and I went for her birthday and were not disappointed! The food and cocktails were delicious and our server was very knowledgeable and so nice. She went above and beyond. The prices were fantastic for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely be back!
Loved the vibe. Miso salmon was good. Risotto was incredibly bland.
We went there 4 times during our 6 days stay in Chicago, twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. Food was really good, almost everything we tried was delicious. Service was from ok to very good, depending on who was serving. Definitely would go back next time. We tried also the other Beatrix close by, but definitely approving this one in Streeterville! Thumbs up.
Amazing dinner! We were late but still kept our reservation!
Great food and atmosphere! Convenient location to Mag mile.
Loved the breakfast here! Nice and quiet but a cool vibe in the restaurant. Great service. And the menu was 'different', which I love!
Great innovative menu.. fast service..knowledgeable servers.
Restaurant can be noisy especially if table is in area near kitchen entrance & order register
This is definitely a must for anyone near the Mag Mile!!! I was so happy to see the abundance of gluten-free options available! Their nitro cold brew coffee was delish!
This place is a great find - and our go to breakfast spot. We had a big group - and they accommodated us easily. The avo toast is amazing. As are the quinoa cakes. You won't regret brunch at Beatrix!
