Had a 12:30 reservation and was not seated until 1pm when you could visibly see tables available that could seat our party of 5.
Son out of hospital
We had very good food and service when we celebrated my friend’s birthday. Tsukane and chicken Bebe were great. Very nice waiter too.
Everything was fine. Seemed like grabbing a burger at any other chain. Good was good but nothing special.
Good food but the room was so loud, plus the music was deafening. The result was that you could only talk with the person seated to one side of you, not conducive to a Sunday get-together with friends. During the week, meeting a single person, seated at a small table away from the loud-speaker.....Beatrix is a great spot. Sunday morning is a different story.
Everything is delicious, the service is friendly and attentive, and they have PLENTY of gluten free options
Way way too noisy, can’t even have a conversation!
Great Food, Service and ambiance! And healthy too! We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and service was great! Will return
This was my first time at Beatrix Streeterville. We were very pleased with the design/ambiance. Service was great and food delicious. Not a huge coffee drinker but had a mocha and it was wonderful.
We always like Beatrix, but on this Sunday I don't know why it took about 10 minutes for us to get our first glass of water. Later, during the meal it took asking three times (including the second time to a man who seemed to be in some sort of management position) over 15 minutes to get more water. I don't know if they were understaffed, but it was an issue to have spicy foods and nothing to drink.
Compared to previous visits when it was first opened, or other recent offerings by the same group, the food was very mediocre.
Wonderfully fresh and well seasoned proteins paired with seasonally fresh salads
Note that for some reason, I am unable to click more than one box in some of the sections.
Service was excellent, loved the Pinot Project wine. Food was very good. I found the table and chairs to be a bit sticky/perhaps not quite as clean as I typically like them.
Overall excellent/very good experience!
I love Beatrix. ALWAYS consistently pleased with my experience at all locations and both brunch and dinner are equally good. This is a great location for large groups and parties. We went on a Sunday following the Chicago Triathlon and it was packed, mostly due to a large party reserved in the back. But this place is always packed so make a res. I had pre-arranged to order a bottle of Prosecco to toast the victors in our group and the restaurant was more than accommodating. Additionally we had four people in our group cancel last minute and the restaurant still seated us immediately. The food was delicious, per the usual. Food came out warm, fast, and cooked to perfection. Must trys for Brunch: BRAISED POT ROAST & EGG SANDWICH, GREEN CHILI ENCHILADAS, QUINOA CAKES W/ POACHED EGGS, and LIGHT & FLUFFY LEMON PANCAKES.
Made trip to Chicago for long weekend getaway with some good friends. We always enjoy great food together and the restaurant was suggested by one of the couples. Great find! Everyone enjoyed their selections but were too full to be able to have dessert. Will certainly come back.
We ate outside. Though there are sirens because it is at the hospital, we were not bothered much. It was a lovely setting.
Top notch food and service. Gazspacho was particularly good
Wonderful service. Terrific menu with seasonal items and delicious brunch. Wish their usual salads were also on the weekend menu. The kale salad is delicious. The grilled chicken was just ok on it. Best part of the meal is the dark chocolate angel food muffin!
Everything we ordered was delicious from the coffees, to the juices and the food itself, I’ll be coming back here for coffee to go more often than I want to admit.
Great experience. Good place for sure.
Great for out of town family
The food was delicious but the service was not very good. It took forever for the waitress to get back to our table with anything.
Excellent service. Wait staff was very helpful with dinner choices due to gluten and dairy allergies! The food was delicious!
I just want to say thank you - we just had coffee in the late afternoon and the staff couldn't have been more attentive even though we were not eating. The coffee was also awesome.
Beatrix is OK - best just for a lunch salad.
can recommend at the right time.
not worth making a special trip.
I love the food at Beatrix and once you're seated the experience is OK. I find waiting for a table at the Streeterville location, even if you have a reservation, very uncomfortable. The space is cramped, no matter where you stand, you're in someone's way and you end up feeling like you're not welcome there. Even with a reservation, there is generally a 5-10 minute wait with no where to go.
8/19 Sun 10:30am reservations. Seated promptly, was Extremely busy. Outside patio dining is relaxing. Restaurant is pet friendly. Highly suggest making reservations. Without can wait 30-45 mins! Food & service is Great. Our waitress Jessica was so Attentive. Portions are generous and affordable. Their pastries are mouth watering. Another enjoyable meal.
Creative menu, healthy and delicious! The food is so artfully displayed on dishes. Service is excellent!
Delicious. Side walk tables great. Wine was ok. The cauliflower steak and the Kung Pao Brussel sprouts were very good. Service was very good. Food came out timely - not too fast, not too slow and it arrived hot (helper server gets it there when the wait staff is busy). Good plate presentation.
Pot roast filet mignon is outstanding! Great portions for the price. Can't really go wrong with anything on this menu. Relaxing atmosphere, very professional and attentive staff.
Good appetizers and food. Although some of the parties dishes left them hungry (those who ordered fish).
Great service, ambiance and drink. Coffee is not great.
Great wine list
The specials are interesting and very flavorful
Intriguing juice combinations
Coffee is great
Service is upbeat and knowledgeable
Desserts are wonderful
I thought the music was a tad loud can be tough to hear.
We have always loved this place but on Monday we did not get the best of service. There were six of us including two kids. Had a lovely outdoor table but when one of the drinks spilled things went South.
I redeemed cash from the LEY card for half the bill and asked the server to add the remainder for points on my card. I have not received confirmation that this was done and we don't have the receipts any longer-term. Guess I lost out.
Fantastic fresh tasting food! My grandparents loved the flavorful vegan dishes, which were inventive and not the usual boring vegan dishes. The fresh juice cocktails were amazing and well mixed. The server really knew the menu and had excellent suggestions. My family was so thrilled with the whole experience, would highly recommend.
Excellent service, great food and celiac friendly. We had an excellent experience.
Excellent food and very attentive service. Special shout-out to our server, Lucas B., who went out of his way to accommodate one of our guests who is allergic to gluten. He let us taste-test a new gluten free dessert (coconut cookie filled with ice cream) that was fabulous.
Glad we booked as it was extremely busy! Lovely food but not relaxed due to number of people waiting for tables. We’re served very quickly so no time to relax but would go back.
I have been to Beatrix for brunch and dinner previously, and I am disappointed to see the drop off in the quality of service. It took us about 30 minutes to receive our cocktails and they arrived with our meal, which is never a good start. Once we finished our meals we waited about 20 minutes and the waiter still had not come by to check-in. As a result, we had to get up and find him to request the check. Even then, we still had to wait another 10 minutes for him to bring the check. As for the food, the lemon pancakes are incredible but many of the other items (fries and breakfast potatoes) lacked seasoning.
Food tasted good, but I felt sauce for Kung Palo Brussels sprouts was too heavy, too sweet.
