Beatrix - River North
The food was very unique and delicious, and the service superb
excellent food, excellent service
Met a friend for breakfast. Eclectic menu with new takes on classic breakfast options. De-lish
It was a bit loud but overall was an exciting if and lively place to dine out. We sat in super comfy chairs that felt like we were sitting at home (half the seating is normal table seating). The food was excellent, and the dessert bar was great. Would recommend to a friend easily!
Love this place. Live in St. Louis and make sure I eat there every Chicago visit!!!! Food amazing!!!
Beatrix is my out of town friend’s first choice. For good reason. Everything on the menu is fresh, tasty and plentiful. And then, after a healthy clean lunch, there’s the dessert factor. Even sugar-averse peeps oughta break the rules for a coupla bites of heaven!
Food is amazing, and nice healthy choices. Love the vibe here as well-active and fun!
A favorite healthy and creative brunch menu that we love! We go every time we are in Chicago.
Absolutely lived everything I ate and can't wait to go back and visit.
Good food. Great staff. It was surprisingly good! I would definitely go back!
Had to wait about 20 minutes even though our reservation was at noon.
Best food, great service, and very understanding about food allergies! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
A neighborhood go to! It is delicious and the service is great every single time!
Food was awesome and service was great!!
One of my favorite restaurants in River North! The most tastiest and healthiest foods including the pastries. Yum!!!
Amazing everything: food, service.
We go here a lot. In fact we were here last week with our families and everything was phenomenal. I understand that this was New Year's Eve, but everything was not quite what we have come to expect from Beatrix. First we had a reservation, but they wanted to put us next to the door where the cold air was coming through. Then we waited another 15 min for another table and watch 3 different couples get seated before us. Our server was wonderful but my Pot Roast was definitely not the typical cut of meat that I usually get and I did not get the horseradish sauce. Also my meal was served to me cold. This won't stop us from coming back but I was disappointed to celebrate the new year this way.
Always a great experience!!! They made me an espresso martini that wasn’t on the menu for me:-)
It was a fun place to eat on New Year’s Eve! The food was delicious. They had a separate gluten free menu with several options, including gluten free desserts.
Amazing service and food. Love the atmosphere for brunch.
Very nice restaurant. Good Glutenfree options! Good food and good atmosphere.
Their tagline is, “where healthy meets delicious..” that is a perfect exclamation. Service, food, and drinks were spot on. The short ribs were phenomenal. My boyfriend got the miso Caramell salmon, which was also fantastic. I am getting that next time! I highly recommend.
Annual holiday dinner with my four oldest grandkids while home from college
Food is amazing. My coffee cup always stays full. Ambience is always so fun and inviting.
Specials : small portions!
Went for brunch. Cauliflower grits I had were amazing, husbands steak and eggs were ok. The hash browns are practically nonexistent. Daughter had Quinoa Benedict and London Fog tea and loved both. Coffee is delicious and it’s always a nice touch to be given one to go. We will absolutely be back to one of our favorite places for breakfast.
As a plant-based person allergic to mushrooms, my choices were extremely limited. We ordered three “snacks,” to share between three of us, which were okay. For my entree, (because the only two vegan choices on the menu were mushroom dishes) I asked for some vegetables - carrots, broccolini, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. They had the nerve to charge me $20.00. How ridiculous. Seriously. It was more than my daughter’s chicken entree. I won’t be back any time soon, although I will say they have a killer vegan cookie.
Delicious food, great atmosphere! Lots of gluten-free options. Loved our table behind a curtain tucked away and some couch seating was unexpected but appreciated.
We had a great table with some curtains around us - made for nice conversation and less distraction.
Menu has something for everyone and the service was outstanding. Had the cauliflower and the meatball starters - both excellent.
Cauliflower appetizer was amazing! My daughter loved the charcoal activated lemonade, and my Blueberry Gin Collins was superb! We all scraped our plates clean. Only thing I would have enjoyed was for my parmesan crust on my chicken babe to be crisp, but it was a little soggy. Still tasted great, and my husband LOVED the Wellington. A bit pricey, but I think the taxes here are so much higher that the total bill at each establishment thus far is throwing me off. This is a must try place and we will be back in 2 years when we return for our December Chicago vacation for the fourth time!
Fresh ingredients made for foodies and refined taste buds. I appreciate that all the fresh juice drinks are spike-able to make delicious fresh cocktails. Menu items are fun and interesting. Everything we had was made tasty and very well.
Nice city vibe
Quality ingredients and Best Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Without a doubt.
The food is always well-prepared and the servers are very hospitable.
Great atmosphere with a diverse menu for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Nice selection of creative cocktails. Service was excellent; server was very knowledgeable about menu and very attentive. Would definitely recommend!
Great service and terrific food. Great for a holiday luncheon!
Bar area is small and very tight. Malbec was very good. Nice flavor on hummus. Service was excellent.
Breakfast was delicious, the server was expedient and the atmosphere was vibrant. I will be back!
