Brought friends visiting from out of state, and we all loved it all, the food choices, service, the room, the bathroom, the sink! Well done!

It was actually quite nice. Had a first date and she was very impressed with the place. Made a reservation online and was given a phone call to confirm. Very personable. Our server was Christina and she couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. Didnt scream the drink menu or whisper the descriptions of the entrees either. Her uniform was nice and clean, worn straight and tidy and all around great server. The food was fantastic as she said and I will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a great night.

Disappointing to say the least. Not enough menu selections, menu choices were pretentious and not anywhere near normal food, Happy hour selections were only available at the bar and not at the table and dinner entrees were limited to only about 5 items. Why anyone would return here after trying it once is beyond me.

Vegan selections are pretty sparse, but the decor and atmosphere make this place a really cool stop.

Our server was very unhappy and apparently does not like her job. I was excited about the restaurant up until her poor attitude interfered with my experience. Also, the food is very pricey for what you actually get. The best part was the unusual bathroom and the decor in the restaurant.

Superb and one of the most magical interiors of any restaurant in Denver; with food creativity to match.

We were there for brunch and by the time we arrived most of the tables around us were empty or finished with dining. I wish the service was a little more attentive, it always took some time to get a hold of the servers.

Outstanding food and very unique décor. It's like being in a forest. Couples seating was side by side, so it's a great location for a romantic dinner with a significant other or date.

My friends and I (8 of us) came out last Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. We had to wait an additional 45 mins past our 8:30 reservation time, and although our server apologized about the wait, I wasn’t even offered anything for the inconvenience. The food was spectacular and the ambiance was also fantastic. Sadly,I wasn’t even offered a birthday dessert or glass of wine, which was very disappointing considering we had to wait so long for our table. Would definitely do a date night here with my husband but wouldn’t recommend for a larger group since it seemed difficult to accommodate.

We arrived to a very cool location with unique eye-catching design elements. The service and food pale in comparison to the design. We were seated 35 minutes late for our dinner res for 8. Our seating was not ideal for a sit down meal. Low table with comfortable seating that is not convenient when eating a full meal. More appropriate for tapas. Service and food were very average. In our group of 7 highly experienced Denver diners no one will return. I recommend going for a drink at the bar to enjoy the ambiance. Head elsewhere for dinner.

Outstanding presentation with a decadence touch. A diamond in the ruff. Warm cozy atmosphere with ambiance that has a story in which the decor is based upon...Don't forget to ask your server about the history of this gem!

After hearing nothing but amazing things about this unique restaurant, it ended up being a bit of a letdown. I would like to try it again for brunch, but most likely won't return for dinner.

Arrived on time for the reservation, but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The table we were at for dinner came up to our knees, which meant hunching over the plates. The waitress was unfriendly and not very attentive. The salad we ordered was extremely salty and the turtle dumplings tasted like a microwave dinner. However...the Bubble and Squeak and Bouillabaisse entrees were phenomenal.

The ambiance and decor were cozy and reminiscent of treehouse days as a kid. The bathroom is certainly cool, but also needed to come with an instruction manual.

We had heard rave reviews about Beatrice and Woodsley from acquaintances, so we decided to make it our anniversary dinner this year. It was a huge letdown. We sat at a small table for two, and our waiter took our drink and appetizer orders, then disappeared, leaving us with the menus still on the tables. When the appetizers came, the runner simply sat them on top of the dinner and drink menus because there wasn't enough room on the table to push them aside. The waiter passed us like this several times. Finally tired of trying to work around them, we asked him to take our orders so we could give him the menus. He seemed surprised, saying, "Oh...I was just going to leave them there until you finished your appetizers." Every other restaurant (even the not fine-dinning ones) generally take your whole order, then get stuff out of your way, so I found this odd but the rest of the service that night was similar: the waiter didn't notice low levels of wine or water in glasses and didn't refill them. He frequently walked passed empty plates, leaving them on our tiny table. All of the little things that you go to a nice restaurant to enjoy were missing. When dinner came, my husband's bouillabaisse plate contained (without exaggeration) 6 mussels, three clams, and broth. Nothing else. That's not enough food to be considered a decent appetizer, much less a main dish. It also tasted like Chef Boyardee. It was so little and so bad he wanted to send it back, which we argued over for awhile. I find sending things back mortifying, but my he pointed out that he was going to spend the whole evening angry if he spent $30 on 6 mussels, so I relented. My dish, pork shoulder, was good, but not better than what we make at home. We didn't order anything to replace the bouillabaisse opting instead for chocolate cake for dessert, which was actually solid. The waiter was nice about it and took the bouillabaisse off the check. We won't be back, however. For the price, it's not worth it.

First of all - Beatrice and Woodsley is like stepping into a fairytale. The decor is beautiful, and every attention to detail is noted. Beyond that, our waitress and the staff was awesome, and the food was AMAZING. Highly recommend the tortoise and hare as an appetizer. Definitely a top restaurant in Denver.

Excellent and inventive cocktails, would definitely come back here just for drinks. Cuisine is also good, wants to be more interesting and creative but just slightly misses the mark. My lamb shank was overcooked but the garbanzo beans in tomato sauce that came with it were undercooked. Entrees need a little work and a little more finesse with handling in the kitchen. Overall the atmosphere is intriguing and worth going for a cocktail. Might try again for dinner sometime, but lately I've had better meals for the price.

Had a father daughter date and it was perfect! It was great for my vegetarian palette and my father's love of meat. It was great for handicap accessibility. The signage out front wasn't easily noted so we walked by it twice but it was worth the adventure. The drinks were accommodated for exactly how we like them. The ambiance was remarkable! We live near by and we both remarked how we will be coming back!

We loved our meal at Beatrice & Woodsley! The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to our wine selection. The avocado salad was so fresh tasting, with such a great combination of flavors with the coriander vinaigrette! Our entrees were equally delightful, the duck confit of course was my favorite!

Loved this spot! Beautiful, whimsical decor, friendly and efficient staff, delicious food, creative cocktails. Great for a date or groups. Came as a party of 3 for a birthday and thoroughly enjoyed their french press coffee, Rye BrunchaPuncha, Ricotta Toasties and our individual entrees. I let them know it was for a birthday and they wrote a nice note to the birthday girl, signed by all the staff. We also ordered 3 separate cocktails besides the punch; 1 ended up being way too sweet for the person who ordered it, and they were very gracious about taking it off the bill. Overall a relaxing and lovely experience and I'll be back ASAP.

Food was outstanding! We dined for a special occasion tonight and Our server was aware of it but refused to acknowledge it. She did not spend nearly the amount of time at our table that she should have, did not quality check drinks or appetizer course. The atmosphere was divine. The lighting and little touches with the wine beakers and bathroom water fountain. I’m in love with the design and food.

Perfectly whimsical all over without sacrificing on artistry and truly fantastic food. Such a treat - I highly recommend!

We had a great evening at Beatrice and Woodley celebrating a birthday. They had a dairy free menu on the table for me. The waitress was very considerate of my dairy sensitivity and even made of a note of something we ordered for the table having dinner in it. She was great!

Loved pretty much everything about it. The location is a little lower end which made us feel odd dressed really nice as we worked our way to the restaurant, but after that everything was as good or better than expected. I picked B&W for a unique dining experience and would have been satisfied if the food and just been good or OK. As it was, everything we ate (app, split a soup and salad, entree, desert) was outstanding. I read some reviews that left me wondering, but that was certainly not the case for us. If I was to nit-pick I guess wouldn't have minded the music a bit softer for a romantic date (not even much quieter, just less... stimulating) but I gave it 5 starts because everything was really all I could hope for. My date was vegetarian so the only meat was in my entree and she was very pleased as well.

Great place, highly recommended.
