The restaurant looks nice, but the food was extremely sub-par.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Dinner was so good we came back for brunch the next morning.
Has the feel of being in a barn, or Arab tent. Unique, comfortable and you have to wash your hands just to experience the sink. Oh, the food and service is great too. A must try.
Maybe people like newer restaurants but this one is a hidden gem for Happy Hour!
This was my second visit. I ate here several ago and enjoyed it so much that I returned when I was in town for business. Fun atmosphere, great service and most importantly delicious innovative food. The bathroom is a must see.
Wonderful meal and atmosphere, we really enjoyed our time at this restaurant and will be back soon. The cheeks were so tender and delicious, I am going to be craving it until I return! Delicious cocktails as well, and dessert was a perfect way to finish our evening. Highly recommend!
This is the most special place I have found in Denver since I arrived in 2010. I always bring out-of-state visitors here and try and make it the last place they go before they leave so that they have a wonderful lasting memory of this very special place. The food, staff, and unique environment never fails to impress. This visit was especially great for two reasons the food and the waiter were over the top. The waiter went the full nine yards to make our evening memorable.
Nice decor. But they are frequently out of dishes- including signature dishes. Reading reviews, one can see that this happens a lot. There are a lot of good restaurants in Denver. Happy spend my money elsewhere.
Casual semi upscale spot for a calm gathering of sorts.
Great service, fun wine-and-dine with friends night out. Highly recommend for F&B dorks. Unique design and decor, super fun. Ask the hostess if it's okay to see the private dining room/wine cellar downstairs, neat extension of the upstairs theme.
Amazing spot! One of the coolest restaurants I've ever been in. And our server Ian did an amazing job.
This place was beautiful! I Love the atmosphere here. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. Very calm, quiet setting. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and I'm glad I did. Though, we did sort of have a hard time finding it after parking
We had a great evening here, sampling many small plates and enjoying wine.
Such a unique spot! Great for date night, very intimate style tables with very cool decor.
We chose Beatrice & Woodsley for date night on Tuesday. Ambience was really good, quiet and with efficient service. Appetizers were a hit and a miss - crawfish beignets were really good, chicken liver pâté not so much. Same with entreés - the duck was enjoyable and the grilled bok choy was not (not grilled well or seasoned well). Since we were among the last few customers, the kitchen ran out of panna cotta but we were happy to go with their recommendation of chocolate cake and amaro and ended up really liking it.
Very great spot for delicious dining, unique decor, and romantic setting.
Beautiful atmosphere and exceptional food.
Went for a first date, great place to take someone special for a unique food experience in Denver!
This was such a great experience. It was nice and quiet, and the decor is very unique. We had French press coffee, blood orange mimosas, french toast and eggs benedict. You can tell they craft your food carefully. All of the flavors complement each other and the textures were perfect. The service was excellent. You have to check out the bathrooms!
Beatrice & Woodsley is a dreamy fairy-tale experience! The tall aspen trees and draped white linens set a peaceful and romantic tone. We had made reservations so when we arrived we were seated right away. The staff greeted us with a smile and provided us with fine service throughout our meal - never too much that I felt they hovered over us and yet, my water glass was never empty. The food and drinks are exceptional! To start we had cocktails that were creative and fun! The Crawfish Beignets are incredible (my personal favorite) - I wasn't sure we would finish the basket of them between the two of us but they were far too good to pass up! We also split the Scottish Salmon Terrine that was a nice surprise. The dish is served cold and well balanced bright flavors. We finished our meal with a banana cream "pie" which was the perfect finish to our meal - not too sweet and the delicate chantilly with the sliced bananas and pastry cream was heavenly!
Food was amazing! Hostess was sweet. Our waiter was not so great. He seemed put off by waiting on us. Took forever with his service and to end the experience he never came back with our change. We had to ask for it. The table next to us was so loud and kept cussing. Not the restaurants fault but it made our experience less happy.
They ran out of the gnocchi and the pork cheeks by 845 on a Friday night. Very disappointing.
Service and decor were great. Food was overpriced and so so.
This was our first experience and the devil is in the details. No detail was spared. The food was thoughtful and unique while the setting was whimsical and inviting. This is now one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Thanks for an awesome experience.
Food was bland overall; sliced duck was very good - overall dish not good, chicken patè and gnocchi were very bland, cocktail was excellent
Our server Hannah was amazing and kind. The ambiance was vibing. It was the perfect romantic place for our anniversary. We will be going again because we want to try every cocktail on the menu!
Environment was beautiful and very inviting. The food was just ok and very pricy. I’m a foodie and love inspirational dishes but feel they were underwhelming. Waiter was fantastic, and we enjoyed our evening. Wouldn’t go back to the restaurant to eat.
Awesome service, ambiance, and food. The bathroom is also a must to complete the experience. I will definitely come back!!
It took 10 minutes for our waiter to come check on us after getting our entrees delivered. I know this b/c after the first few bites of my dish, I wanted to give him some feedback.... that took a while.
After I told him that the dish was surprisingly bland, I was disappointed that he just stared at me with a blank expression until I asked him for some salt to try to remedy the dish. Not once did he asked me what I didn't like about it or how he could make the situation better. Disappointing that at this high caliber of a restaurant, I was not asked for feedback about the dish or how they could have rectified the situation.
Very romantic spot with incredible ambiance. Restaurant decor is unique and inviting. The table felt cozy and secluded without feeling isolated. Staff was friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. Every bite of food was amazing and did not feel overpriced.
This restaurant has an amazing ambiance. Everything we ate was very savory and delicious. The service was phenomenal. We went there for our wedding anniversary , and they even gave us a card! Will definitely be back.
I asked for a cup of coffee upon arrival and was told that they did not have coffee but only espresso. 20 minutes later all the tables around me were brought out French Pressed coffee. Inexplicable. When I enquired with our waitress why she told us they didn’t have coffee when they clearly did, she said she felt she was doing me a favor because their coffee was too bitter. Such a strange experience.
My husband and I looked forward to our first dinner in Denver, at the beginning of his week-long conference. However, the experience was disappointing, even though the food and drinks are extraordinary. We felt a profound sense that we were an imposition on the waitstaff--who first ignored us for 20 minutes, until my husband waylaid someone to order drinks, and then seemed annoyed at our presence and/or perfunctory in their work. I never realized before how much it matters to feel welcomed at a meal--and that kindness is the best seasoning for dinner. A kind waitress at an unassuming diner in Salida made our breakfast taste better than our well-crafted escargot last night.
We were staying in Denver for a long weekend. We wanted to try places in walking distance of or VRBO. Great place! The crawfish aioli beignets were AMAZING!!
Very sweet and romantic venue. It was set up to be a long dining experience and sometimes we wanted for a server to move it along. Overall it was a great spot to spend an anniversary dinner or a night out with friends.
They were incredibly sweet. Have us a great table and greeted us with a birthday card
A lovely space with a chic natural palette. A small, curated menu with well prepared food, but looking for a more memorable/unique experience particularly with more story telling around the dishes and how the food was prepared/where it came from etc.
My wife and I went for brunch. such a wonderful place. From the folklore that the entire restaurant and decor is based upon to the creative, flavorful dishes. To the incredible service. Ian was a knowledgeable ,friendly and entertaining waiter. And the entire staff was so friendly.
Delicious food! Server was amazing and the ambience was to die for!
Celebrated a friends 60th birthday and they had a birthday card waiting on the table, very thoughtful. The food and service were excellent! I would recommend this place to everyone.
